I love my dear Country. I've been a model citizen. I can say nobody's blood is greener.

However, recent happenings have forced me to look at things differently. I have lost total faith and confidence in President Tinubu with his handling of the subsidy issue and exchange rate which has exacerbated untold hardship in the country.

The refinery issues, the Dangote refinery and our 4 comatose refinery with its constant date shifting has really got on my nerves(for real) I have come to observe all these people do is whine us. Tommorrow, it's %90 operational, next tomorrow it is shifted to next month ending... This particular issue has doubled the hardship in the land. Fuel scarcity + mad queues to buy fuel for 850-1k per litre.

The high rate of food prices everywhere... It's unheard of and we've not had things this bad.

The worst of it, the salt rubbing on our wounds, A senator/house member/politicians 21 million monthly take home embarassed embarassed It dont sit well with me and anybody I've interviewed on the topic. This is insensitive, selfish and the main reason for my change of thought.

On this note, regrettably (I love this country) I announce my intentions to Japa. I can't believe it, but as it is now, I'm willing to consider any country where I dont have to queue before I buy fuel.

What I have seen and faced in various petrol stations in the last 1 week is eye opening. I seen raw undiluted suffering, with no end in sight but lies and few rich politicians.

Japa, let me research biko and call some people.

In 2024 with the high exchange rate plus tightening immigration policies of major japa countries like UK, Canada, UAE, Australia, Germany, Poland etc. your chances of japa are slimmer 🥲

first of all I want to apologize to you personally, you don't know me, but I've secretly hated on you (I'm anti-japa) I have liked post attacking you etc. Forgive a brother. Peace

Recent happenings have clearly showed this is not a renewed hope or anything, instead this is renewed shege banza pro max raise to power 7.

I don't mind Lesotho or Rwanda or Botswana or any country where there is less people (population I believe is our No1 problem) and most importantly, country wey I fit drive enter gas station without queueing or fighting. A less chaotic place for my peace of mind will do.

Hmm...Good one.

But to enjoy these African countries maximally, one must have another passport aside from Nigeria. Because happenings like this also occur there a lot. You nor won hear say war, coup, or something happens and you have nowhere to go.

So, if you think you are qualified and can afford it, try the usual countries first - Canada, Australia etc. And maybe after you get citizenship, you can now settle anywhere.

Welcome on board. You are about to take a life changing decision in your life. I keep saying it here. If you have chance, JAPA now for the sake of your wellbeing and general (children's) sake. I vow never in my life time to born any of my kids in Nigeria. When you enter Europe, you'll understand Nigeria is a mess.

“Igbayi laro” meaning it’s now you’re just thinking about it.

You better stay in Nigeria, Nigeria is the best place to live if you have money that’s the slogan of some suffering and smiling people.

Na when they turn old age and have nothing to show for it their eyes go clear.

Truth be told, if you’re above 40, you may want to reconsider your japa plan.

So many people on this platform always respect your judgment/advice. Is there no country you can advise he should try?

The best decision I ever made in my entire life was to run away from Nigeria with my family at 48.

I am healthier, children doing well at school, and the environment is clean, friendly and without any form of insecurity.

Leave Nigeria when you're still alive.
