Yes, there have been people who took there dependent along with an Mres degree.

The problem is, not all Mres is research based, some are Mres by name but in the real sense the course is a taught program. The mistake the person made was he didn’t confirm from the school if the Mres they are offering allowed dependant.

If you are looking at Mres that allows dependant then look at schools like

1. Robert Gordon university
2. York St. John University
3. University of Brighton

There are more buh this are the schools I have seen people applied to and took there dependant along.

Lastly, if you see any school offering Mres, make sure to confirm from there admission officer if it allows dependant.

I don't think it was a mistake. I actually sent an email to the school((University of Bristol) myself few months back to confirm is their MRes can allow me travel with my dependent and they confirmed Yes. I was already assigned a supervisor before I saw someone conplained that UKVI denied his dependent the visa to that same school

I would advise you apply for January intake, some schools have started giving out CAS for January intake.

What do you think about pgce further Education (English and Esol)? Is it wise option?

I will advise you go for PGCE secondary education with a specific subject. There’s more opportunities in secondary teaching and the pay is better than further education teachers.

Hello Everyone,

What can you all say about GCU Scotland based on experience or relative reviews ? I have an unconditional letter from this school and I am about making the tuition deposit to follow up next process. Visa ratio? CAS issuance?

Also, is Globus bank still good for POF?

Thanks.

For PGCE, it's best is to do it from Nigeria or in UK via online mode with a UK University.

Though applicant pay Application fee of £30
But they give 80% Tution discount so you only pay around £3500-£4000 per year only.

Instead of paying £15000-£17000 per year.

That way, you pay discounted fees and you can be working elsewhere and earning money for yourself since your study program is online.

And it's open to International students.

That's what most people are doing in UK now.

If it's online can you use it to get a UK study visa?

You know doing it online means you won’t be able to get a study visa. For 95% of the people they just want to leave the country and japa. So that online option

I just checked the tls site now and it has been sent to VAC, I think you should check yours too.

I have been a silent follower of this group. I just checked mine this morning too and it has been transferred to VAC. Biometric August 21 (last week Wednesday). I hope for a positive decision.

Please guys, I don't know if this is the right section but here is my question.

I applied for my transcript from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and they sent the e-copy to the school in the UK, I would love to know if they usually send the hardcopies as well and like how long it takes.

Thank you.
Please how much did you pay. And how long did it take? Did they give you a personalised copy?

Hi, my wife is an international student. She failed a module and was asked to resit. Now she has done the resit, the results came out last week and she passed but she hasn’t been awarded a certificate yet. Her student visa expires in second week of September . Can she go ahead and apply for PSW if she hasn’t been awarded a certificate before her visa expires. Thank you

She should apply for her visa now before her student visa expires. The school will confirm to Home Office that she has met the requirements for the award of her degree.
