You can borrow against it.

Imagine if I had sold my Eurobond when naira to dollar was N700 to $1.

Rather I borrowed against it.

MARKETJJC:

I don't think there is any manipulation. Three things will explain this from the little I have learned in this market: (1) cross deal; (2) none of those on the top queue came from the same stock broker as the seller or sellers, no matter your position, a seller will first sell to the in house buyer on the queue no matter his position before selling to another buy on the queue too, (3 )That number one you are seeing there is not actually the number person, the real number buyer may have had his quantities partially filled and he is then move away from the front to the bottom for the next person to be number one, but the original number one person must finish his quantities before that present number one will get his. So it is possible for you to be number 1 at a particular point in time but another person before you will be receiving first.

I hope this haphazard explanation clears you. grin

I had a similar experience too last week. I was the 7th person on the seller list, and my order was filled even before the first 6 people before me. Never knew that was possible until that day.

For those of us here looking for what to buy today,C&I leasing is not for everyone today and possibly this week sha.

This Abbey Mortgage is never for everyone. It is highly illiquid but a good stock to hold. You need a good lecture on how to acquire illiquid stocks.

Start buying CHAMS from this morning.Dont miss it.I repeat,DONT MISS IT.

Stop envying those in Oando. They deserve the reward. Not everyone can gamble oando.Let them eat the fruit of their labour. It is a #200 and above stock.Unless Tinubu is not our president again.

May you be blessed today.

Back to my cave for observations.

The listing price will be determined by the last trading price on NASD. Using todays closing price of 6,200, NGX open price will be 310

The problem with all these is it takes time before they have price correction after NSE listing...

Tpower, vfd etc are examples...

I am not talking about savings bond. I mean
the long term bonds of 5 to 10 years

You can buy any amount you want, if you use Morgan Capital, send them an email. Check the debt market on itrade to see bonds that has offers and do your calculations. Remember money market is currently at 21%

All you need to know is in the public domain.

Minimum investment of $10,000. The fund must have been in your account 30 days and above prior to the offer

Thanks. I am concerned about the duration. 5years is long o.

Will Nigeria be solvent in 5yrs time to pay with the way the economy is going. sad

Yes, the rate is good. But that 5yr long o. It will enter another election year. And who knows tomorrow. Trusting this Govt to pay up in 5years just seems risky.

I pity many when oando will fall especially oando new intakes. You think it will always be up up up?

Keep borrowing to get it. You will learn the hard way soon.

Those I'm talking to know themselves

Soon institutional investors will start taking profits

Be wise

Thank you, but try remove eye from Oando. The journey is still far, and we are expecting pull back,

CAVEAT

There is a lot of manipulation going on in OandO.

I took this screenshot today at 12:25hrs. See the first set of bids: 3,000,000, 50,000, 100,000, 300,000, 850,000, 10,000, 3,120, 22,819, 6,000
By 14:19hrs, ALL those bids were still there IN THE EXACT ORDER!

Whereas if you check the TRADES, you'll notice that over 2,000,000 units changed hands in over 90 deals between 12:25hrs and 14:19hrs

Be on the lookout for telltale signs.

Every mallam to his kettle...

You need connection for your Oando bid to be filled, it's not be staying on the queue. But pull back will definitely come and anybody still interested can board. The journey still far and it's a new dawn for Oando. People on ground know this, a lot of changes going on.

Also if you check the stock picks i posted last week you will notice that they are doing well now as bids are high...Am currently checking on the volume of transactions on the banking stocks and it is relatively good and high...The time is right but remember to shine your eyes, keep your ears on ground for information and follow your investment properly..

NB: The mistake most people made especially in 2008 was that they didnt have any info on the company of the stock they were buying ( whether the company was healthy or not)...

A good business man/woman should try to know details about the company he or she is investing so as not to enter into a train carrying a time bomb..

Aways check the nigerian daily newspapers to keep yourself updated about the market...my 5kobo advise..

Please more contributions will be appreciated...
Today I remember B2BR

I hardly buy insurance stocks, but I may give this one a try once the price is right. For now it's over valued. Fair price is btw 1.9 and 2.1.

He has a way of comparing the market capitalization with the GDP to determine if the market is undervalued, moderately priced or over valued
