@MarksmanD and other well wishers,

I am happy to share the good news that my PPR letter landed early this morning.

I submitted all the requested additional documents with a truthful LOE to IRCC, and the caring Lord answered my prayer. Alhamdulillah, all glory to Him.

I will be back soon with lessons learned. Thank you all and I wish the hopefuls the best of luck.

Please advise on the most effective and fast option for submitting my passport for stamping.

She is supposed to look at what will make her application stronger and review the application with a VO's mind, saying GIC wasn't an option though not mandatory would have reduced any unfavorable review by the VO, from your submission she has the funds, so she needs to put them to use to show she has access to them.

If she had GIC, she would have sorted everything about living expenses and focus on tuition POF, though she would still have to explain HOW she raised the funds.

For a business registered in one year to raise such huge funds, she will need to explain in graphics details how the business raises money.

With the way things are going, what if she does GIC and the VO still isn’t convinced, what happens to the money in GIC?

Is it really advisable to go ahead with the GIC?

GIC is your investment, if your visa is not approved , you can simply inform the bank to send you back the funds, and they will do it.

The issue is, we have a trust deficit with these guys, when we say have millions and we have not applied those millions to some expenses, it looks like the funds are for demonstration purposes. Like I said earlier, GIC are not mandatory, but it helps us reduce explaining POF to some extent.

How did you resolve the requested documents

I did as you advised by submitting the investment records/receipts, the requested mybankStatement and my employment pay slips plus an honest LOE. And I ensured to submit all the requested documents 4 days after the request without waiting for the submission deadline.

Please what is the most effective and fast option of submitting passport for visa stamping?

Dear all,
I.need your assistance, I was charging my phones on Lufthansa aircraft and heading to Canada via connecting flight.

I forgot my phone from Nigeria to Frankfurt Airport.

I have filled their online form and emailed them, no response yet since Sunday 25 August

Is there anyone with similar experience that can advise me on how to recover through Missing phones.

Assistance Will really be appreciated.

Thanks

I will not advice anyone to come to canada again on a study permit . If you must travel on a study permit go to Europe for now especially countries with cheaper tuition and hope of staying after study

Why do you say this please?

Hello everybody, I’m in a bit of dilemma, I applied since the 26th of June, till date I’ve not had a single update on my application, program start date is 3rd of September, my school doesn’t allow deferral, if I don’t resume by the 3rd of September my admission will be cancelled and I’d need to reapply, I’d like to know if this won’t affect my application and yes I’ve raised web forms 3 times now and yet no update

Try sending emails to different visa offices maybe that will help, as it is now, you need to start preparing for any eventuality.
