Sad day for a lot who knew him directly or indirectly

Honestly! Talk about look up too and 100% respect. Each time I drive pass his work station at Awe, I marvel at what he has been able to put in place.

Life is just senseless. Time will eventually destroy everything.

Yes, he passed away yesterday after battling for two months with injuries sustained in an accident. May his soul rest in peace.

Damn! May his soul rest in peace. Death is a necessary end for everyone! May God comfort the family he left behind. It's really a sad one.

May his soul rest in peace. Our health care system in Nigeria can do much better..I'm not saying he didn't have the best care, but i've too many issues of people dying in some Nigerian hospitals after months just because of lack of certain things. Its so painful

I became worried about his absence on NL for like 2 months. I had to send him msg.
Though I later called and someone answered like his second. I asked if he traveled out, he said yes. Today, I checked his profile on NL and I saw his last seen was few days ago.

Menh, this life is truly nothing. I have learnt a lot from him, both here and car talk section. He will be greatly missed. May God give the family the heart to bear the loss, and may is soul rest in peace.

I just spoke about dust to dust yesterday.

Let me share my experience before I decided to ask for forgiveness sometimes back.

Someone bash my car from the back that is bumper came off, after parking, out of anger going to confront him or her and display my frustration of nigeria on the person, crossing to the other side of the road to meet the person blinded by anger I was almost hit by another coming vehicle.

That is when everything flashes.... I never thought that was possible until you are face to face with death. How many I have refuse to forgive, doors I have closed, how I wish I call someone to say sorry.... everything was like a flash and I was like am not fighting anything again in life. Just wake up and enjoy the 2nd chance I have......

Gazzuzz still kind of unreal to me... May God in his infinite mercies forgive your short comings.

OMG... This news is like dagger pierced in my heart. I chatted him just last week Thursday asking how he was doing and his response was "All is well, thanks for checking" My heart has been heavy for a while now, I just thought maybe it's my personal challenges that's weighing me down, not knowing a big friend and coach was leaving us and going home.
Ahhh cry cry😭😭😭 words cannot begin to describe how I feel right now, the only silver lining here is that he is in a better place.
Gazzuzz was a good man, he was a great man, a technical oracle a visionary entrepreneur, multifaceted and a real all-rounder, very cerebral and intelligent, a man of integrity, honest and trustworthy. You could take his word to the bank.
He thought me alot, from ehailing, to fleet management, to auto parts business, to car repairs to solar system and inverters and even CNG, he influenced and exposed me to them all.
Gazuzz was a giver, he was compassionate and had empathy, even to strangers he knew not from adam. He would rally other like-minds to give and help a sick person in d hospital or someone who needed financial assistance. Another thing I admired in him was his passion for his country. I will never forget this jolly good fellow. We shared a lot of values and ideas in politics, business, relationship, work ethics and general life view.
This is a huge loss to all who new him personally, and an even bigger loss to his wife and young kids, may the Lord comfort his family and fill the gap that has been made by his passing and may the good Lord grant him eternal rest and accept him in His bosson.
Adieu Gazzuzz😢😢😭

I admit I'm not being logical because I said things you don't want to hear.

1. Aisha Yesufu came to Twitter asking that all party agents of Labour Party should send their results to a particular WhatsApp number. Like WTF

2. It was reported before the election that Labour Party does not have party agents in majority of polling units across the country

3. PDP is the major opposition like APC and they have their own situation room too. Incase you don't know what a situation room is and how political parties collate results, let me break it down further for you:

3a. Every local government involved in the election has a dedicated computer and a person receiving the result.

3b. All party agents upon signing the result at polling unit will snap and forward to the collation center. The result is extracted into excel sheet dedicated for that local government

3c. Each collation agent will secure every snapshot taken by the party agent and save them for evidence of malpractice, overvoting etc.

4. When 80% of these results have been received at situation room, they do their maths to know if the remaining result is enough to give them victory or not.

5. PDP has all the result from their own party agents across the country same as APC. Can you say the same for Labour Party?

6. Rigging is not as easy as you think. Politicians rig but not the way you think they do. I won't say more than that.

7. I told you how Obi could not get 25% in 13 states of North East and North West leaving him with NC, SE, SW and SS. Remember, he also could not secure 25% in SW except Lagos. Now ask yourself that if Obi needs 25% in 24 states to win the election, are you saying he got 25% in all NC, SE, SW and SS states after failing to get 25% in Osun, Oyo, Ogun, Ekiti and Ondo State? Do the maths yourself and bring direct polling unit results.

8. If you want to be logical with proof I'm here but I will repeat again that Peter Obi did not win 2023 general elections and he came 3rd as reflected.

9. Go through the results again and see how Tinubu won the election, he chased the 25% across board and not just winning in some region. The only region Tinubu did not get 25% is south east. Just 1 zone compared to OBI that could not get in almost 3 zones and you claim he won the election, how?

10. You are here hoping that your votes will count one day, I laugh. Join a political party at ward level to understand how politics work. The people that will determine your next president are already preparing to work for chairmen and councilors elections so they themselves can become delegates but you're still hoping. Issokay

11. Extra: APC was most prepared for the 2023 and their hardwork paid off. Aside from physical party agents across board. APC also used "e-unit agents". First of its kind in the country such that prospective voters details in each unit (name and phone number) were spooled from INEC and used in building an application, each agent is allocated 5-10 people. You will contact them and give a feedback of their response.

While APC was doing this hardwork, Obi was calling Oyedepo. Is that how to win election? 😁. You analyze and plan. Person wey no even sabi wetin BVAS mean. Abeg abeg

Insightful! Thanks for sharing.

But just to confirm something:

In 1 above, you mocked Aisha for calling on all Labour Party agents to send results to a particular whatsapp number. Then in 3b, you said that PDP and APC agents were asked to "forward" the results of polling units to the collation centre

Please, how exactly will they "forward" to the results?

Major parties do it in 2 ways, either they give you a webpage link dedicated for your local government or you send to your dedicated LG party collation agent via any medium.

There are 176,000+ polling units and you're requesting that your agents which is half of that number should send all their results to one single WhatsApp number.

BVAS not working was only an excuse by mischievous people. The two major political parties have their original result directly party agents and do not need INEC to even collate for them.

I will repeat myself again, if Tinubu did not win the election, 2nd and 3rd position party will challenge the results and not his character.

Is this supposed to be a question. The inability of people not being able to buy pms, which is essential to our essence is what to you? Good governance?

I full ground now. Show me proof that last month's protest was based on fuel scarcity.

The very first time in a long while the death of someone not related will really weigh on me.

Rest on big bro.

I remembered when we sold a car and you asked that we (I and Felicity) keep the commission even though it was duly apportioned to accommodate you. We will miss you brother. You've laid so much for us to aspire on, I assure we will do what it takes to keep the goodness thereof.

Bye bye Chief. Keep resting.

Wow, solid member on nairaland.

Life is a mystery, let's live with purpose and impact.

Some years ago when I wanted to buy a car on nairaland from someone in the auto section, I contacted Gazzuzz for pre-purchase inspection.

Notwithstanding that the seller may realise he was the reason the deal was called off, Gazzuzz told me to avoid the guy as he sell cars that have many of the original parts replaced with low grade substitutes.

Did not charge me a penny for this advise.

Very solid guy

My God, what am I seeing here, Gazzuzz is dead?

OMG, was it not just 3weeks or a month ago I referred my neighbor to him for car Vin check report as the guy wants to buy a car, and the guy said he didn't respond to him and only share a contact of someone with him, in my mind, I was like that's very unlikely of him cox gazzuzz I know will quickly respond to Vin check transaction. It's clear to me now, maybe he was going through something as at that time.

This is a great loss to Nairaland, mehn, infact, it was through his comprehensive VIN check report I made my first whole 1m profit from a car deal transaction I had in 2023 on Lagos state governorship election day. Gazzuzz is someone I respect and love so much, this life ehn, may God grant him a very good place in heaven.

Rest well Gazzuzz...
