If you are too quiet, bullies will always target attacks at you. For me, this is the story of Igbos scapegoating by Nigerians.

Last year, an X user with a Yoruba name tweeted:

SOURCE

Nobody seemed to care since Igbos were at the receiving end. But now, everyone cares because there's an Igbo name involved at the giving end.

In 1945, 2 Igbos were killed in Jos tomato market riot and nothing was done about it. In 1953, up to 60 Igbos were killed in Kano because a Benin man Anthony Enahoro moved a motion for Nigeria's Independence and the North rejected it and a Yoruba man Akintola planned to visit the North to preach independence to them.

Because nothing was done again, in 1966, thousands of Igbos were killed because of a coup staged by military officers from different tribes.

So it continued. In 2001, America bombed Afghanistan because of Osama Bin Laden's involvement in 9/11. Then, some Muslims started killing Igbos in Jos.

While we should all condemn Amaka Sunnberger's tribal outburst, we should also condemn anyone trying to make her insane talks look like the view of all Igbos.

After all, someone tweeted something similar about Igbos over a year ago but Igbos didn't accuse any tribe for it.
Even that useless abiku gbegiri didn't bother to identify the Yoruba man that started this nonsense but have rushed to identify the so called amaka

The comment made by that genocidal idiot last year definitely raised dust cos it was all over the news and guess what? he was immediately arrested as should be since 2023.

Are you saying that this current hateful racist mor0n shouldn't also suffer similar fate?

The whataboutistic support for these tribalistic drivel I've been seeing here is sickening especially coming from several known monikers that often call others bigots.

What is bad is bad and should be condemned.

You are not different from the tweeter, this is appalling. How do you investigate when you already knew the outcome of the investigation 100% ? Only fools do this. You are giving credence to the poster that Yoruba indeed have deep loathe for those that come from the Igbo extraction, you are a big shame as one of these bigots parading themselves on social media. Your recollection of certain historical events is very myopic.

1966 coup was lead by Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu... He was born in Kaduna but his parents are Anioma. My point is he's Igbo.

Majority of the victims of the 1966 coup lead by Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu were non Igbos and they include:

Prime Minister Abubakar Tafawa Balewa
Premier Ahmadu Bello
Premier Samuel Ladoke Akintola
Finance Minister Festus Okotie-Eboh
Ahmed Ben Musa (Bello's Senior Assistant " cretary for Security)[23]
Hafsatu Bello
Mrs Latifat Ademulegun
Zarumi Sardauna
Ahmed Pategi (Bello's driver)
Brig. Samuel Ademulegun
Brig. Zakariya Maimalari
Col. Ralph Shodeinde[24]
Col. Kur Mohammed[25]
Lt. Col. Abogo Largema[25]
Lt. Col. James Pam[25]
Lt. Col. Arthur Unegbe
Sergeant Daramola Oyegoke
PC Yohana Garkawa
Lance Corporal Musa Nimzo
PC Akpan Anduka
PC Hagai Lai
Philip Lewande

If you are Hausa or Yoruba, how would you feel seeing coup plotters take the life of political leaders in your region?

My theory is that western powers needed to keep Nigeria disunited and they saw a willing pawn in the person of Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu.

Perhaps he was deceived by CIA or other western power blocks into sabotaging Nigeria and sowing an eternal seed of disunity in the country so that they can later plunder the wealth of Nigeria through neo-colonialist companies. Who knows?

The fact is that Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, an Igbo, sowed the seeds of eternal disunity in Nigeria via his inglorious coup of 1966.

That singular coup lead to series of events that would later culminate in a civil war were millions of Igbos were killed and further seeds of eternal disunity sowed into Nigeria's heart and soul.

While it's right to say that Igbos, innocent Igbos who did not partake in the actions of Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu have been unnecessary victimized or punished for the sins of their ancestors, it is totally wrong to twist history and facts to make it seem that an Igbo man did not play a major role in leading Nigeria to where it is today.

You people keep talking about this January 1966 coup. Is becoming boring.

Is the Nigeria the only country that has experience coup and civil wars ?

You said 1966 January destroy Nigeria. But July 1966, 1975 coup, 1984,1985,1991 and 1993 ? Why are you not talking about those ones ?

Abi, those coups didn't Destroy or did it turn Nigeria to Dubai ?

You tribalise 1966 January coup but didn't tribalism the following coups that follows abi ? Is it because no igbo man was involved in those coups.

Una hypocrisy is too much! Even the devil go shock.

Cost of Fuel is high now and Transportation has become expensive

Physical meetings, seminars, workshops, trainings are reducing drastically while virtual meetings are on the increase

If you notice all conferences, events, etc are now being livestreamed to accommodate those who cannot come to the physical space

Come to think of it, it gives more opportunities and flexibilty

Here's an example, I do organize training classes to prepare people for a professional proficiency exam

When it was 100% physical at my training site, The highest number we got was 38 persons, their fee was N45k

The money looks big, but when I put down the cost of rent, powering generator, auxillary staff, etc, the money was almost gone.

Last year I decided to make it hybrid, (Physical and via zoom)

Guess what our least subscribtion was 102 persons.

Now not only that we got more money, we saved more cost and broke the location barrier

People from far who ordinarily wouldn't have been able to join, now can comfortably do so

Going online is bae, What's holding you back from taking advantage of the virtual space

A lot if people are taking advantage of our Zoom/hour offer

Media guys now are saving huge costs on livestreaming events like weddings, burials, parties, conferences, etc thanks to us

Teachers/Lecturers now run online classes, take seminars and even external oral examinations/defence virtually, Thanks to us

Course Creators and Marketers can organize their masterclass/webinars without worrying about having to pay over 26k for one month subscription when they just need 2-3 hours.

Save your self stress and money, we have zoom links where you can simply pay per hour and only when you need it.

It you still need this service reach out on whatsapp via O7O31684332

Every other coup took inspiration from that of the one lead by Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, the foolish young Igbo soldier influenced by CIA and other western power blocks to sow the seeds of eternal disunity, distrust and division into the political, social and economic life of Nigeria.

You were not there so don't defend him. Doing so is what makes other people wary of Igbos. It's the primary reason Peter Obi wasn't able to get meaningful votes in the north, in addition to his other fault lines for sure.

Why are you lying?

Did the LagosPedia recently started saying vile things against Igbos?

Something that is over a year. They called Sanwolu and followlasg but they all pretended not to see it. Lagos administrators were following and retweeting all the vile things he was saying.

It only took Atikus tweet to make them start disassociating themselves, after more than one of constantly calling them. I am even surprised Tinubu also disassociated himself from something he instituted.

The recent Chidimma issue had your people telling South Africans in far away that Igbos should be chased and even killed.

This is not 1967… we will match you madness for madness if you stretch your luck too far.

Whoever see you bastards constantly attacking Igbos will think we have been the one killing you in your land whereas the Northerners have been killing and maiming you idiotts but you are not bold enough to say shittyys. Just few months ago, one of you was killed in broad daylight and his body was mounted j with bikes… the video is out there for your blind eyes to see.

You are lying and you know it. Which is sad! This tweet raised so much dust and the person behind it was arrested. Meanwhile hundreds of Igbos say these things every day and it doesn't raise dust! Obviously it's a matter of time and chance that determines which tweet gets public attention.

But what is really sad is trying to distort these previous incidents on order to avoid responsibility for the present situation. Why not condemn her as sane people do instead of still finding a way to make yourselves the victim?

Every anti-igbo tweet is always condemned by so many non-igbos including Yorubas and even some northerners and especially by Edo people who are now becoming a target for ethnic hate.

Condemn what is condemnable without resorting to silly defences!
