Exactly
His points are more agenda driven than fact

See that part he said Arteta can tame RashFord but e reach Osihmen turn, story change grin cheesy

He’s just trying to argue himself out of a box.

Any discerning mind can see he actually likes Rashford and wouldn’t mind him despite the fact that we have players who can do the same thing he’s fantasizing about Rashford doing for us.

Everyone not named Mostob can see we need a real striker and not another winger-cum-false 9.

Even if it’s not Osimehn, we need a real striker and not all these slothful false 9 everywhere .

Ur post is still up there in which u were talking about the kind of player we need : “ on form Rashford “ SMH 🤦‍♂️.

U ate still asking for proof again. Shegzdave has even further dropped receipt of u fantasizing about Rashford even before today. Na wa to u o.

Even man utd wey get Rashford want him out of their door like we want Nelson out of ours .
Fear dey catch you to quote? lol. State where I mentioned I would take Rashford ahead of Osimhen. I only recommended Isak. Others were 'layman' examples.
You be money man sha, help us fund osimhen's transfer then.

You are the one arguing yourself out of the box.
I tabled my reasons, you agreed to the most important one which is his injury record. You lied about Finidi's presser ... grin grin
You conjured up the Rashford vs Osimhen debate whereas Rashford was not the only player I mentioned. You even chose to ignore the on-form in bracket.
About the bolded, i still mentioned Watkins here few days ago but you chose to turn a blind-eye.
What are you arguing exactly? grin grin

I mean how hard is that to see
We need a real striker and not some false 9, almost if not everyone on this thread had also agreed we need a good striker and someone is talking about comprehension issues

Some crosses into the box where we need a real striker to finish it off and Osihmen is a real striker also good with his head but we mustn’t sign him but some false 9 who isn’t always present in the box.

You followed the guy too? That means you would have known earlier if I was using his ideology to butress my argument but I did not. There is a pattern when you consider the calibre of strikers we are being linked with.
We don't need someone to bulldoze please. And let me ask you, why is Osimhen still in the transfer market with all these qualities you mentioned?

I don't know where you read it from o but odegaard and KDB are two different players. They are not similar at all. Like it is even funny reading that line. He is similar to Benardo in every aspect.
I don't too follow him since I'm not on Twitter. I just see most of his analysis on my FB and while he's good, I feel he's too critical of Odegaard instead of seeing Odegaard for who he is. And no, Odegaard is not like Bernardo oo. Creativity, eye for pass(especially in final 3rd), silkiness and beating of Man, Odegaard trumps Bernardo hands down. I don't want to even talk about shooting sef.

As for that Osimhen matter, when I mean bulldoze, I mean an X-factor player(or striker) who can make things happen and not just to be dependent on system yet his presence won't tamper with the system. I believe Osimhen offers that.
Osimhen is still in the Market and Chelsea are actively looking for him. PSG might be laid back about his injury but aside that, no big club is actively looking for Striker esp when you consider his wage.

This is why I avoid putting mouth in some of these lengthy arguments u guys always have on this thread , because some people will just try as much as possible to take u off point and start arguing a non issue with u.

Right from the onset I was discussing with iamoyindamola by asking him why he said he won’t be happy if we sign Osimehn. I proceed to tell him why I believe Osimehn is actually a right fit for us- Osimehn is a prolific and proven goal scorer who is better than any of our current striker options upfront.

You are the person that claimed he isn’t prolific in the face of superior facts going by his goal scoring record with Napoli and Nigeria. You kept on twisting and turning . I was decent enough to admit that his injury concern is a genuine concern but every other point u were clutching at were nothing but moot points.

Till now u’ve not been able to prove otherwise that the only major issue Osimehn has is the injury concern.

Every other thing is just u clutching at straws. Whatever spat he had with Finidi, somebody posted it and we’ve seen evidence that Arteta actually signed Trossard who was literally frozen out by his previous manager for his “attitude “. That has killed whatever point u we’re trying to make about “attitude”

As regards the Rashford over Osimehn, it’s just glaring to anybody who can make deductions . We’ve been talking about attack options and Osimehn has been at the center of it all. Suddenly u were listing attackers that u prefer to Osimehn ; most of whom are out of reach ( Salah , Mbappe) and u just smuggled Rashford into the mix . Yes u said an in form Rashford but when last was Rashford in form that u remember ? Anybody with half a brain can see that u definitely prefer having him at Arsenal even when he’s not what we need right now.

This is the last response I will give on this matter .

Point of correction, this is not a comparison. Based on their role on the pitch, their skillsets and stats, Odegaard is more of Benardo than KDB. You can make your research sha.

Your definition of X-factor here does not really describe Osimhen. Unless they have changed the meaning of X-factor. Athleticism, creativity (passing, dribbling and vision), mentality, decision-making are what you must consider when describing a player as an x-factor. The question is does Osimhen possesses all these?
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Jodera: 10:13pm On Aug 29
I think Mostob is still looking at it through the lens of Arteta that we need all these winger who can play Cf reason why he listed On-form Rashford(since that's how Arteta loves his players esp attackers who play dual positions).

But mehnnn, Rashford is never really an X-factor player. The season he season he scored 40g/a, his overall game was literally rubbish but he just found that scoring touch. Such a thing is never sustainable (just like Mctom last season for them). If you watch Man u the season they finished 3rd under Ten Haag, you'll testify. It's one of the big reasons I never wanted him too when the rumors surfaced we were linked with him.

Anyways, I believe case don close for this matter. Make we just chin up like Men wey we be. No hot blood grin grin

God will bless you for the bolded. It is not so hard to see now. That attitude I mentioned as part of my reasons, who did I referenced? Arteta. To think Osimhen is a Nigerian like me and they were saying I don't like him. In arguments like this, you don't look at things from your own POV, you visualise things based on what is going at the club and the manager's behaviour. It is very simple!
On Rashford, I stopped mentioning him here when he started playing rubbish so I don't know where thy are bring the agenda from.

Tbh, I've made my research before I came to that conclusion. First time I saw that under Ebl, I was surprised cos he's really someone I respect his work, but in this aspect I fully disagree with him

In midfield, all attack flows through prime Kdb for Man City not Bernardo
In midfield, all attack flows through Odegaard for us.

Statwise, they might be similar (perhaps in terms of assist or so) but if you delve deeper, you'll see that most expected assists(xA), chance creation, Key passes, Big chances created are all Odegaard's forte in Arsenal.

Who do you think has all those stats in Man City? It certainly won't be Bernardo.

In terms of dictating and breaking down low blocks for arsenal when things gets tight(like dropping into midfield and starting attack). We call on Odegaard. Same thing Kdb does when things gets tight.

I don't want to talk about their skillsets cos Odegaard and Kdb are different kind of players with different skillset but the mantle, leadership and role, both have been the go-to guys in this team.

Lol, lastly I saw your post earlier today about us benching Odegaard if we want to play Man City. It was funny and I just laughed then but now I understand cos you're really seeing him as our Bernardo, cos if you'd seen him as our Kdb, you'll know that will never be an option no matter how.

72games and averaging a game ever 4.3days means even Odegaard won't be immune to the demands of this season. We should be prepared for it all round by doing what's compulsory.

Lee Carsley on Ben White’s exclusion in the England squad:

“As far as I’m aware, he wasn’t available for selection. Nothing has changed in my two weeks of being here, so that’s where I’m at with him. He’s always played well, but he made himself unavailable for selection.”

Arteta's pattern does not require a true striker.

That's why Nketiah became useless.

Personally I wish we could add a striker only of top quality.

But I also know that as far as our tactics are concerned, we won't need him.

I have said it here on several occasions when defending Havertz and Jesus that they are not playing as true strikers but you people refuse to listen to superior opinion.

I understand your point but it depends.

Usually if Silva is playing central midfield KDB acts as the runner. Both of them are AM and can be related to Odegaard in skill set.

Arsenal will sign Bournemouth Neto on loan with no obligation to buy
Fair deal but why did they send ramsdale away when they didn't have a backup
I like how espanyol dealt with them because that was a stupid move
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by iamoyindamola(m): 6:22am
Sell nelson to Fulham/West ham or Leicester
Get sterling for free and coman and neto on loan
Get some rest and prepare fully for the season ahead

Getting sterling and coman will give us variety of options in attack
Trossard, martinelli,Kai and jesus can play CF
All these guys can also play wing except for Kai
Sterling and coman can play both wings effectively too but we need to get rid of nelson after getting the 2 or one of them and nelson stays

I'm not saying they don't have same skillset cos they're similar (ie Odegaard and Bernardo). I just said, "who's the closest thing to their Kdb for us"?.

Odegaard doesn't need to have same skillset as Kdb in other to be "our Kdb" na

Like even the comparisons when doing head to head, Odegaard is always setup with Kdb and Bruno Fernandes.

There must be some kind of tactical shift that I'm not aware of for me to see that Odegaard is our Bernardo.

Nobody sent Ramsdale away, Ramsdale wanted to leave because he’s not happy playing as a second choice goalkeeper . He has lost his place to Raya and he certainly is not happy playing second fiddle to him considering Ramsdale himself is a good goalkeeper .

Anybody we are signing knows they will be second choice ; something Ramsdale cannot deal with.

It is only normal we profit from his unhappiness

Even a Nelson is better than an exhausted being who you will pay bigger money for and will not be productive.

Two wingers is a lot abeg.

Told me how ?

Did u see any of our goalkeepers that lost their starting place staying beyond a season ?

Did Leno stay beyond a season after losing his starting place to Ramsdale?

Ramsdale already bemoaned his loss as far back as October 2023. I have attached evidence for u and not hearsay 😂
