We play too much in this country.

An individual was invited for questioning by the police, instead of him to submit himself for questioning alone and as an individual, he went with the whole of the union body. Just because he is the union president. Imagine for a minute this person happens to be the president of the country, what would happen?

Yet, these are the same set of people that will accuse the government of corruption. Now, what do you call this?

They were even threatening to go on strike if detained? Yet, he has people supporting him…. And this same of people will turn around to call the country a “failed state”.

Can you plant okra and expect to harvest apple?

Nothing wrong with inviting Ajaero for questioning but the police needs to be a lot more tactful.

Why include potential charges in the letter when you are only inviting the person for questioning? Just say you’re invited for an ongoing investigation and state why the person is a person of interest. The gravity of allegations in the letter is too weighty to just fling around.

Ajero , You have compromised. Immediately you started endorsing and campaigning for a political party
That's where you lost it. Everyone in Nigeria knows who you are supporting and campaigning for. That's why no one takes you serious.

Stop being hateful and work with facts, if they had concrete evidence against ajero he would have been arrested right there. So nothing wrong in appearing with ur lawyer and colleagues. Besides in foreign countries the police would have duly investigated d matter before invitation, are u expecting anybody to accept the charges even if they are guilty?. Stop encouraging incompetence and dictatorship.

Him going to honor the police invitation with his personal lawyer is not corruption and it's permitted in law. An accused person is presumed innocent until proven guilty by a court of competent jurisdiction. Other labour's leaders that accompanied him is also in order as a matter of protocol as the president of the labour union because he is still in active service as the labour leader. You are commenting as if you know the law more than the police that allowed those people to accompany him at the gate. Starting from scid upto fcid only legally permitted persons can accompany an invited person for questioning. You cannot cry more than the grieved.

Why won’t it be worth dying for? With the member contributions you all loot monthly?! And the bribe you get from friendly politicians?!
You turn a blind eye to your corrupt and inefficient members in the civil service, yet you keep misdirecting Nigerians to think ONLY politicians are the ones making Nigeria dysfunctional and Nigerians multidimensionally poor.
NLC and other unions are some of the major problems of Nigeria as a country !

I smell something fishy, something beyond labour matter. The way Ajero is going around the story without blaming the security agents for the invitation but rather trying to manipulate the mind of the gullible ones to see him as a victim even before a bigger issue ahead tells me that something is hiding. The Ajero I know doesn't talk like this when he is fully on his right but misunderstood or wrongly accused. Let's watch and see.
