mostob: Osimehn and Napoli are DONE. He has disrespected napoli enough after that TikTok disrespectful incident dished to him to the extent of irreconcilable differences. In fact, it’s only contractual reasons why osimehn hasn’t spazed out at napoli 1 Like |

Players need to understand that the era of throwing €70M+ on a player is coming to an end. Clubs finances are tight, even in the Prem. We’ve seen spending this summer come down. Players are now looking to run down their contracts and leave on a free as they can get better wages as a result eg Rudiger, Mbappe, TAA (possibly to Madrid next summer). Leny Yoro would have done the same next year if United didn’t come in with a large bif. Osimhen agreeing for a contract extension with that massive release clause a no-no. His stock was the highest right after Napoli won the league. That was the time to move. The fights between him and the club, the injuries and Napoli’s poor form last season definitely put some clubs off him this summer. 3 Likes |

charlesemeka85: Football academies are the new goldmines. Once an academy has young and talented ballers, with serious connects abroad, partner with an European football club and align with some good agents, cash out is guaranteed. 1 Like 1 Share |

semid4lyfe: How is the terms being offered by Chelsea disrespectful for a striker who got 20+ goals only once in relatively easy serie A? Disrespectful yet it’s only 2 clubs that have gone into talks with him with one from junkyard Saudi. 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd: lol. Jackson is only defending the club he plays for and himself after Mikel said they won’t be anything without Osimhen.. He didn’t just criticize Jackson. He also asked him to be replaced by Osimhen: not once but several times last season in his podcast.. There is a difference between criticism and disrespect.. |

So Napoli tried to fleece Saudi of extra 5m who got frustrated and decided to sign Toney instead, now Osimhen is only left with Chelsea who are offering 155k weekly while he wants atleast 350k weekly or he stays at Napoli, hmm |

To those advicing Osimhen to go to Saudi because of "generational wealth", I hope y'all won't be surprised when people begin to question his inclusion in the National team, henceforth. I hope y'all won't be surprised when players doing well in higher leagues are selected ahead of him. I hope y'all won't start complaining when you don't see him in the starting eleven of the super eagles, as usual. If you're used to judging players based on the leagues they play in, then Osimhen's case shouldn't be any different. Money is great (hell, I'd probably even do the same thing), but he should get ready to play second fiddle to those doing well in higher leagues. He's yet to achieve what the likes of Messi and Ronaldo did for their National teams, which have earned them the right to an automatic call up, no matter where they currently play. Actions have consequences, especially in a short career like Football. Football is not about sentiments. He should better go to Chelsea or stay in Napoli, if he wants people to continue taking him seriously. |
