He is not ready to accept a pay cut and Chelsea can't afford to pay his wages
he's not ready then accept the pay cut, negotiate two or one year deal and get out of Napoli first

I am a Chelsea fan. I think the way Chelsea has handled this transfer issue with Oshimen is too disrespectful. If Oshimen was white, he wouldn't have been treated this way being priced down and under valued — loaning a top striker like Osimhen with option to buy and re-negotiate a reduced wage is not fair enough deal for him. What if they Chelsea decide not to sign him after the loan? The implication for that is, his market value will greatly diminish.

Once upon a time I don see one person when get sense for nairaland.
This is what I call a true and unbiased analysis of the current situation.

Fact he is one of the best striker in the world, and if chelsea is running a program for under paid and futuristic players they should not bid for him.
Solanke, carvin and other young and unfinished products where available.

Just leave the stage for the people in champions league football to bid for Oshimen.

This is very disrespectful, but he was top greedy as a person not from an agent or club perspective.

Club accepted 3 deals from psg assNAL and chelsea

Osimhen too is somehow too greedy, not compromising enough to accept Chelsea's contract due to reduced wage indicates he is in the business of football to make that money and not for the love/passion of the game.

Not him but the club Napoli that reneged on the already made agreement with the Saudi club and literally bungled the whole process

Well
It was gradually building in the Napoli club for a well
And when the club now has a new coach that does not want to use you and is clear you are not part of the team.it gets complicated

He is an adult and can decide to go wherever it pleases him. After all, football is business.
It is a shame Napoli broke the relationship that existed and helped the club lift the title with resiist social media posts.

Nigerians are hypocrite, now the guys is having transfer issues they are blaming him. When things are going well everyone will be praising him, now things are going south look out how they keep putting blame on him. Same thing they did to Anthony Joshua.

Italian clubs are just like that. why will they ask for more money
Playing in italy presently is not ideal, look at what is going on with Atlanta and lookman

onatisi:

It wasn't his fault , when the Saudis came , he agreed but Napoli asked for more money and this turned the Saudi away, on the other hand, Chelsea at the last minute reduced his salary deal by more than half .
He has put Napoli in a very difficult situation, they now have to do everything to sell him , for the following reason

Not healthy to have a player who openly has said he doesn't want to play for the club, this will cause problems for the team spirit
Secondly, he is still on their payroll so Napoli still have to be. Paying him 10m , that is huge even if he doesn't play for them . That salafy is high to be throwing away.
He will have no choice anyway , if no club comes then he will be under the authority of Napoli . So Napoli has to find a way to sell him this year

so if okocha was the best player, why didn't he lift bolton to the top of epl? grin grin

Rossikk:

You're talking CRAP.

Chelsea were offering him £130,000 a week, a gross insult for a player of his calibre, and less than HALF of his current salary at Napoli.

If that was a white guy they would pay him ANY MONEY he asked, like Haaland.

FCK ALL OF THEM.

OSIMHEN WILL SIT IN NAPOLI AND COLLECT HIS £325,OOO A WEEK JEJELY TILL 2026.

When he's finished he can retire and go into real estate business.

FUCKING WHITE IDIOTS.

ANYTHING 'NIGERIA' THREATENS THEM.

THEY WILL GANG UP TO FRUSTRATE YOU BY REFUSING TO PAY YOUR WORTH.

SAME THING THEY DID WITH OKOCHA. A MAN THAT WAS THREE TIMES MORE SKILFUL THAN RONALDINHO, YET ENDED UP AT BOLTON BECAUSE THESE ANIMALS CALLED ''BIG EUROPEAN CLUBS'' COULDN'T STAND A NIGERIAN BEING THE BEST PLAYER ON THE PLANET.

Chelsea signing unnecessary wingers this season is truly unforgivable.

Next season, Chelsea should chase one striker and one striker only: Alexander Isak.

Nicholas Jackson's only problem is that he doesn't know how to strike the ball with conviction. Virtually no power behind his strikes. Such a shame. Because he's a very very good player overall.

Jackson is actually better than osimen, worst they are both at par

He's an average player... But it took his talent and hard work for Napoli to win a title that had eluded them for 30 years..... Where he was the highest goal scorer, scoring fantastic goals, and bullying defenders everywhere
Is he the only that made Napoli won the league title.
He has been there for 3yrs before a certain Kvarashkelia came and added spice to the team and they won the league in the guy's first season

Pride goeth before a fall.
I have no sympathy for Victor Osimhen, he brought all this upon himself when he feels he has finally arrived and on top of the world.
I started disliking him when he first disrespected Victor Ikpeba for just a simple advice giving to him by the former, and he now finished everything with that Finidi rant.
.
Fine he now has the money, which other top footballers in Europe including Naija players playing abroad also has. But with the way I'm seeing it, his football career is gradually going doing. Except a change in attitude from him occurs.
I rise with my submission

Chelsea Is and has always been a career killer for African players, so let him go to Saudi and make the money, after all money is the goal.

It’s not jazz

If a good dancer fails to realize when to leave the stage, he/she will be humiliated.

Osi had that window, but failed. Trust me, as a black man that he is, his career is going down the drain.

The time he was suppose to make the move is long gone. Saudi Arabia now looks like the best option.

Money he willl make, but career gone! Where is Obafemi today?

The money will only ring for few years after retirement.
