He should be dropped from the national team till further notice, no sentiments! we want fairness for all so other strikers in form (Dessers, Gift Orban, Arokodare etc) should be given a shot.

Osimhen has an ego his talent cannot cash.
He is the biggest loser in this scenario sha, loser not in an insultive context but in the sense that he might not play till January which might derail his progress.

He wanted to eat his cake and have it.. Your club doesnt want you, they have made it clear but as people around am don gass am, he wants to go to a top club and still get his desired salary.

Truthfully, Osimhen will have to hit haaaland-esque EPL type numbers to even get a decent move with little or no game time.

Unfortunately, he has been blackballed by many big clubs in Europe similar to what Ronaldo experienced after that piers Morgan interview and the only way to reverse it is true God, Humility and a serious PR. People did not realize that, Napoli were willing to sell him for 65 million almost half his valuation (Taking a loss) and the moment multiple clubs were aware of a player of his caliber available for 65 Million and only saudi and Chelsea came forward, just know that a blackball is occurring

Finally someone that says the truth as it is...Nigerians are so hypocritical and blindly patriotic that we are contributing to the career demise of Osimhen...you need to see how his Twitter juggernaut friends are shamelessly doing "yes men" and hypemen jobs for bad display of judgement on the part of Osimhen (maybe because of the club hangouts and cash giveaways they hope to benefit from Osimhen). These guys are gawking parasites who don't mean well for Osimhen...they are the ones fueling his ego and hype that he's on the level of Drogba and other legends when in truth Osimhen is only a one season wonder who has yet to prove himself at a higherlevel. They are only around him for the media validation and champagne bottle popping charades with a mega star"...Osimhen would have probably made better career choices if he stayed around the right crowd.

Osimhen gat nothing to prove to you or anybody. The record is there for everyone to see!!. Call him one season wonder no yawa but he won the scudeto for Napoli and he is currently the number 8 best player in the world , and currently the African best player. The highest scoring African in the history of serie a. Yall think he needs to prove himself again? Y’all are on cheap drug. Osimhen …. The monster machine . Deal with it! I’m super glad he rejected Saudi deal . It is better to be inactive than to waste his talent in KSA. Whatever is going on right now is just a phase. He will get past this and turn out even way better thereafter. He is a mentality player!.

Nigerians will hype you and dump you. Na their way.

Osimhen’s ego and ability are so far apart.
Rejected generational money, kicked off Conte's squad, reduced stocks in the football market. Y'all thought Chelsea's lowballing was insane, some of the offers he'd get in January you'll cry for him.

The first step to rescuing his career now is to distance himself from all these urchins, (the guy is battling for his career and these fools are already calculating the money in his pockets, the widespread crass commentary is one of the reasons the deal failed, foolish boys!!!). This should be a period of self reflection, go silent, train hard and leave in January.

I have been reading comments and laughing. Nigerians and emotional card.. After losing, who will recover fast and more with years to come?Osimhen is losing, dude is at the peak of his career and they just took him off the first team.
He is not just losing, he is bleeding!!

What money will Napoli pay that they can't make again, as compared to the possible decline of Osimhen's form and he ultimately unattractive for potential suitors?

Assuming Osimhen accept Saudi offers una for use mouth finish am for here. Una go say he don run follow money. Una for say his career don finish. Yeye hypocrite!!. Yes, I wanted him to go to Chelsea but I’m glad he refused the so called salary peanut ladden with insult. There’s no way you wanna pay Osimhen 155k per week before tax ( 68k after tax) . What an insult?. Fofana is earning 200k per week. Christopher nkunku is earning 195k per week without showing working at all. Listen, it is not everyone that have low self esteem like some of y’all here . Stop projecting your low self esteem on Osimhen . If you wanna take a pay cut at your job please go ahead and do so. He believes in himself and his talent and he deserves whatever salary he wants. Finito!.

so he has an ego because he rejected the peanut of a salary?. I don’t just understand some of the way you people think at all. There’s nothing wrong if he wants big offer for his hard work. Stop projecting your low self esteem on him. Go ahead and take a pay cut at your job just because you need it to survive . I’m kinda tired and sick of people forcing their schema on other. Osimhen made the decision for himself - rejected the low salary- his decision has nothing to do with pride but have everything to do with his belief that he deserves better wages for his hard work.

Black men with low self esteem. See their mouth like he gets ego na why he nor accept pay cut . Some of y’all need to start believing in yourself and in the possibility that you deserve the best out of life. It takes strong mentality and sound schema to say NO to stuff you feel ain’t good enough for you especially when you have work so hard. I remember when I was still searching for job as an health and safety professional in UAE. I had lot of offers that I felt wasn’t good enough for me as per my qualifications and experienced., but none of the employers were willing to offer me that salary. It got to a point my siblings and friends got tired of me. They tried to convinced me to accept any offer just to keep myself busy. I bone!!. I told myself that I rather sit at home and be drinking garri than to accept peanut after working so hard to get to that level. To cut the story short, i stayed at home for one year before I finally got my desired salary. The point is ….. there’s a level of consciousness you need to get to and you will stop looking down on yourself and take what you feel you deserve. …..If I can not get what I deserve, I’m not accepting less!.
Y’all should leave Osimhen alone . He made his decision and he gon stand by it . It is not a testament that he’s arrogant but a testament to his strong character. Saying No to less is a strong character!.

This is a social media space. Some of you need a wake up call. Not everyone has to agree with you or share the same views. There’s people who have different views than I do and I don’t care..

Some of you do not interact with people outside of the internet and it shows.. I’m agreeing with different shiit, you agreeing with different shiit. Can’t we celebrate diversity of thought? If my company doesn’t want me anymore because of my poor attitude, then I will leave.. Why would I be happy working in an environment that isn’t conducive for me?

Osimhen will be reintegrated into the team after the break.

ADL is a businessman—he’s not one to lose millions of dollars or the Serie A title over a minor issue.
With the recent signings, it seems clear that ADL sees an opportunity to win another Serie A title with Osimhen in the squad while also securing a return on his investment in the summer.

Considering Conte's preference for a 3-5-2 formation, I can only imagine the damage a Luka-Osimhen partnership could inflict on opponents!

However, my concern is with Conte himself. He's known for being stubborn.
The big question is: Will Conte set aside his pride and become the mastermind behind one of football’s most lethal partnerships, or will his arrogance get in the way? Hmm...

kellycute na only you and few others understand wetin dey go on here. Osimhen knows his worth, even just the fact that Chelsea mentioned loan + obligation to buy, people wey lack knowledge don dey mock say African Best dey go on loan to Chelsea.

Osimhen is a hard worker, has a very strong mentality. This is not the first time he'll not be playing football for months (he even has national team matches this time), when he had his head injury, he was out for almost a year, he came back stronger and better! The most interesting thing is that he still scores most goals with that same head! Someone that has 18 metal screws and 6 wooden plaques fitted into his head, PTSD see Osimhen, PTSD run! A lot of players will dwindle in performance after an injury as big as that!
With a mask his outscored every single African to ever play in the Serie A, broke records and set new ones!

Osimhen is a humble person with hot temper that doesn't even surface till he's being pushed till the extreme end, he can also be positively stubborn, he won't settle for less! That's why he neither chose Saudi nor €155k/week. He knows himself, he knows what he wants.

Osimhen is not Højlund or Jackson that you'll force to take a salary inferior to his ability. If he collect am una go talk, as he no collect am una still dey talk.

I've read a lot about Osimhen, studied Osimhen and watched every single video on YouTube about him that I always feel like I know what's going through his head. Y'all should just wait and see how he scales this hurdle. I can tell y'all he's not as bothered as y'all are, una just wan type for typing sakes.

Lastly and most importantly, Osimhen did not go through those hard times at Wolfsburg, defeating a potential career ending injury at Napoli, becoming a world-class striker against all odds, just to come and take a paycut for a Chelsea that don't even know their standing as of today.

If that injury didn't end his career, na 4 months of not playing football wan end am? 😂 We'll all be there by God's grace.

Maka just continue dey ignore some comments dey go.

Facts only
TheLoneCitizen:

You're just spewing for the sake of it.

The whole footballing world went on a sabbatical in 2020 due to covid for 3 months.

Not just any break, a recess where no contact training was possible for months. Only in-house workouts.

In fact Mourinho was almost fined for personal training with Ndombele

Ligue 1 was 5 months because they ended their league.

And guess what, PSG who went on the longest sabbatical made their first UCL final this century.

Osimhen is out for only 4 months, and has access to team training.
He also has 6 competitive games to boost his morale and keep his mind sharp .
