"Smoking Causes Cancer" But Why Do Smokers Ignore Warnings by Campusnews360(m): 1:10pm On Sep 01 |
Despite decades of public health campaigns, graphic warnings, and strict regulations, millions of people around the world continue to smoke cigarettes and use other tobacco products. The harmful effects of tobacco are well-documented, leading to a wide range of health issues, including lung cancer, heart disease, and respiratory problems. Yet, the question remains: Why do people ignore these warnings? Nicotine addiction is one of the most potent factors behind the disregard for warnings on cigarettes and other tobacco products. Nicotine, the primary addictive substance in tobacco, creates a strong dependence, making it extremely difficult for users to quit. The brain’s reward system becomes altered, leading to cravings that overshadow the logical understanding of the health risks involved. For many, the immediate gratification provided by nicotine overrides the long-term consequences, creating a vicious cycle that keeps them hooked. I'm letting you know now that as an American, everything that causes cancer they send to Nigeria, but people will not stop using them. Using SNIPER to kill insects one time is worst than smoking for a month. It is ban in most european countries. But Nigerians will even use it to wash their house same with malt drinks |
