there is a way something will be happening that it becomes normal to you. Nigeria has a way of making abnormal things look alright to you. When I saw the news about the German I just hissed and continued to scroll. The journalists have seen it all so they just didn't bother writing stories. Camp opens tomorrow. Let's look forward to a good(hopefully) international week ahead.

Mybettingtips:
this is really sad. There’s no point staying back at Napoli. He should have taken the Chelsea deal. One year of no football for African best player is crazy. Some people here believe the fans will chant his name at Napoli and he will start making the first 11 squad. It doesn’t work like that, he has been removed completely from the season list. No way back for him in Napoli. A wasted season for him, his value will depreciate badly after this and may have to settle for a shiitty Saudi deal in January or summer window.
he is not going one year without football. The transfer market is not closed yet and there is still January.

Truth is bitter but must be said. Osimhen has everything to lose not Napoli. Non-playing of competitive football for 6 months would definitely affect his fitness. Infact he does not deserve a callup to Eagles until he sorts out himself, if we are being fair and really wanna maintain the consistency on this board.

Osimhen should have accepted the paycut and join Chelsea. Enzo called to convince him. He assured him of starting spot, thus should have accepted the deal, shame Napoli by banging goals here and there and bigger clubs will come for him in the next summer.

I don't want him accept Saudi deal coz he is still young for that, and no sacrifice is too big to progress one's career. Mbappe humbled himself by playing one more season with PSG and eventually joins his dreamt club.

Osimhen should have made it cool, humble himself to get what he desires - leaving Napoli this summer. Napoli is all for blood now. They are ready to derail Osimhen's career until he himbled himself.

I rarely say this but this is nonsense.

I'd rather you educate yourself on the subject before commenting on it. The Mbappe "humbling" parallel makes this even more ridiculous.

You guys should rest abeg with the lazy commentary.

kellycute na only you and few others understand wetin dey go on here. Osimhen knows his worth, even just the fact that Chelsea mentioned loan + obligation to buy, people wey lack knowledge don dey mock say African Best dey go on loan to Chelsea.

Osimhen is a hard worker, has a very strong mentality. This is not the first time he'll not be playing football for months (he even has national team matches this time), when he had his head injury, he was out for almost a year, he came back stronger and better! The most interesting thing is that he still scores most goals with that same head! Someone that has 18 metal screws and 6 wooden plaques fitted into his head, PTSD see Osimhen, PTSD run! A lot of players will dwindle in performance after an injury as big as that!
With a mask his outscored every single African to ever play in the Serie A, broke records and set new ones!

Osimhen is a humble person with hot temper that doesn't even surface till he's being pushed till the extreme end, he can also be positively stubborn, he won't settle for less! That's why he neither chose Saudi nor €155k/week. He knows himself, he knows what he wants.

Osimhen is not Højlund or Jackson that you'll force to take a salary inferior to his ability. If he collect am una go talk, as he no collect am una still dey talk.

I've read a lot about Osimhen, studied Osimhen and watched every single video on YouTube about him that I always feel like I know what's going through his head. Y'all should just wait and see how he scales this hurdle. I can tell y'all he's not as bothered as y'all are, una just wan type for typing sakes.

Lastly and most importantly, Osimhen did not go through those hard times at Wolfsburg, defeating a potential career ending injury at Napoli, becoming a world-class striker against all odds, just to come and take a paycut for a Chelsea that don't even know their standing as of today.

If that injury didn't end his career, na 4 months of not playing football wan end am? 😂 We'll all be there by God's grace.

Maka just continue dey ignore some comments dey go.

Black men with low self esteem. See their mouth like he gets ego na why he nor accept pay cut . Some of y’all need to start believing in yourself and in the possibility that you deserve the best out of life. It takes strong mentality and sound schema to say NO to stuff you feel ain’t good enough for you especially when you have work so hard. I remember when I was still searching for job as an health and safety professional in UAE. I had lot of offers that I felt wasn’t good enough for me as per my qualifications and experienced., but none of the employers were willing to offer me that salary. It got to a point my siblings and friends got tired of me. They tried to convinced me to accept any offer just to keep myself busy. I bone!!. I told myself that I rather sit at home and be drinking garri than to accept peanut after working so hard to get to that level. To cut the story short, i stayed at home for one year before I finally got my desired salary. The point is ….. there’s a level of consciousness you need to get to and you will stop looking down on yourself and take what you feel you deserve. …..If I can not get what I deserve, I’m not accepting less!.
Y’all should leave Osimhen alone . He made his decision and he gon stand by it . It is not a testament that he’s arrogant but a testament to his strong character. Saying No to less is a strong character!.

Let's be watching. Osimhen will find a fantastic home soon. He should follow his instincts and be patient.

If Chelsea were serious, they would have supported their coach by getting him the striker he needs. Julian Alvarez and Osimhen were in the market this window and they lost both. They don't have money for wages but could spare money to still bring in Sancho.

Chelsea know what they need. Their Manager also knows what he wants to strengthen his squad. They just extend Jackson's contract till 2033, this should tell you Osimhen ain't a priority, just a quick fix for temporary result(s).

Chelsea offer Osimhen loan without obligation to buy. Like I said in the post you quoted, I saw it as an opportunity for Osimhen to sell himself at bigger stage, shame Napoli and get a bigger club in the next summer.

Emotion won't let most folks here reason well and read to understand contrary views and opinions. Take the paycut for just a year to sell yourself and attract bigger contract/club(s) instead of being sent to wilderness as Napoli is doing now.

I criticize Osimhen when he makes mistakes but now is not the time to pour acid on a sore wound. Young deserves absolute support during this tough time because whether you like it or not our own is our own.

I honestly thought Victor's performances and commitment to the Napoli colours would have earned him at least a window of reconciliation but the club management has thought otherwise which is their prerogative.

Even if one agrees without conceding that Osimhen's attitude or ego caused this he has not behaved half as bad many players who did worse and where still respected.

Rooney who outrightly handed in a transfer request was a rewarded with a new contract at Man U. Sancho whose case we all know about was rewarded with a loan spell at top German side Dortmund and is now with Chelsea.

Should just keep his head down and do his talking on the pitch. A hattrick against Benin on Saturday will be what the doctor just ordered.

Chelsea extended Jackson’s contract cos he is cheap enough for them. He is earning 65k before tax, and he is nothing near world class at all. No world class striker will accept peanut from Chelsea.

Jackson is 23 hence there is still room for improvement. Same Jackson just scored another goal again.

Last season, at 22, Jackson had double digit goals for Chelsea, slowly but surely he is getting to the Tag.

Let me add that it's not even my business if not to checkmate the idiots spewing gibberish. I mean na the national super eagle team sabi whether the team qualify for the world cup or not, It's not my duty na.

I was only saying what I noticed which was, Aribo was fantastic in the central midfield for the Saint team and we've seen him display same dominant performance in the central midfield for the super eagle team against some top midfield oppositions thus, It's only reasonable to put him in the midfield for the super eagles.

As for the Saint, their midfield looked good, especially Aribo and Downes. Downes was holding and he looked technical while Aribo was his usual agile energetic technical box to box. As for their defence and attack, I wouldn't know though. They didn't concede much, so the defence might be good but I wouldn't know. I wouldn't know about the forwards either. The Saints should probably do well in the epl.

Meanwhile, Let me add and say from what I've observed so far, I would say while the saints' midfield look good with their technique, agility and link up play, their defence not as much with their lack of agility and defensive play 📌 Also, the defence could stop trying to play the ball from the back. They're not good at passing the ball from the back hence should rather punt/kick it long when pressed rather than trying to pass the ball from the back, especially when pressed.

Their attack need to also do more. The saints probably need a more formidable attacker.

From reports, Maresca explained to Osimhen the role he would play. He needed him. Osimhen has sold himself on the big stage. He is currently on the top 10 Ballon D'or list. How can Chelsea be asking for a paycut? Especially for a player they need. It does not make sense.

If Chelsea indeed want him, they would break bank to get him. They broke bank to get Enzo and Caicedo last season cos they indeed needed them.

Chelsea don't want Osimhen for long term, rather for short term fix. They simply need him for this season, I guess for Jackson to understudy him - that's all.

I insist Osimhen missed an opportunity to prove himself once again on the big stage. Currently top 10 on Ballon D'Or list ain't because of his last season performance(s) in the League or UEFA Competition rather because of his great performances when they won the League 2 seasons ago.

I hope Victor Osimhen’s agent gets to work immediately
They have 4 months to get a new club
Contact Edu
Arsenal FC should be the best place for Osimhen
£200k per week wages minimum
Seal this deal
Gooners need to win the Premier League
Forget Chelsea, he will play his best football at Arsenal. He’s what they need to seal the league
Else they’d keep playing 2nd fiddle to Man City forever

Inactivity is similar to an injury, the difference is.

For an injury you need to get back to your best fitness level.
For inactivity, you just need to maintain your current fitness level.

Sandro Tonali was banned a year ago, he came back one game, starred and Italy invited him for EUROS.

This same Ivan Toney was banned for 8 months, came back, had a banging Euros and secured oil money.

Greenwood didn't play for almost 2 years
Came back, stunned La Liga and is currently the face of Ligue 1.

I said it does not make sense what Chelsea did and you say they might want him for Jackson to understudy. Does that really make sense? Maresca wanted Osimhen and from reports, Osimhen was a priority to him.
