D0nt be broke because you are building a home. "You've managed to save 10 million, your first big savings, but the only thing you can think of doing is starting to build a duplex in your village? Tomorrow, you'll come out and say that your village people are after your business. Don't use your first savings or business money to build in your village. The house you build in your village is a waste of money; it won't return any income. Instead, it will set your business in town back. Building a house is not like buying a car. The money used to buy a car may not affect your business because it's a one-time expense. However, the money used in building a house can close your business because you'll keep spending until the house is finished. So.my advice to you is to not use your first money to build a house in the village. If you must do so, learn how to build according to your earnings, like the example I posted. 57 Likes 11 Shares

Everyone loves this kind of roof lately and that’s great ✍️💜 This type of roofing design has gained so much popularity in this our recent time due to its affordability, aesthetics and functionality. Many confuse flat roof for hidden roof - A flat roof has an extremely low pitch and is almost horizontally level. Hidden/flat roofs This type of roof has a slope of less than 10 degrees and is either horizontal or nearly horizontal. Many hammer 🔨 a lot on what are the disadvantages of hidden roof, now let me draw your attention to it , Hidden roof damage is similar to a ticking time bomb,(Especially when wrongly handled) quietly biding its time until it causes significant harm. These disadvantages include , -minor leaks that go unnoticed -hidden roof requires regular maintenance and inspection in some cases .Without regular inspections, these issues can remain hidden, only becoming apparent when they have already caused extensive damage. The benefits of this inspection are for you to detect early issues and avert it and to have your peace of mind knowing it is okay ✅ -moisture building leading to mold and shingles slowly deteriorating, this can all undermine a roof's integrity. When a roof lacks its integrity that means it has lacked its functionality and role of being a roof 🙂💯 If you just do this kind of roof ,get good inspection at intervals so as the roof can be checked and okayed to avoid damage ✅ ADVANTAGES OF HIDDEN ROOF ✅✔️ It is cheaper to handle (lesser timber’s are used and lesser roofing sheet and materials too) Cheaper to maintain too than the other roofs ✅ It has the appearance and ability to blend more efficiently to giving a house or building a good aesthetic ✅💜 If you must do this roof it’s great but make sure you get a good hand to handle it and observe good inspections at intervals and you are good to go ✅ Inspection at intervals helps you note issues on time and avert it by correcting it ✅✅ Stay blessed and I wish you all the resources to build soon Source : https://imranroofing.com.ng/2024/08/26/understanding-the-popularity-and-considerations-of-hidden-roof-designs/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JEnkYz-xFo?si=pofK-Xl9L7Tk9nF- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHakBNxOCoA?si=Qm_zeljzHq3Idvvx https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9k-MBeS35Y?si=eGON8p-FCUPCO9Fm 6 Likes |

That's thoughtful. But a house can also be a source of investment. It only depends where you build it and how you built it. I can build my first house in a city and build my second house in my Town... there are no villages anymore... By the way, if you are currently erecting a structure in this economy, you are truly a man. The most high has been kind to you 87 Likes 4 Shares |

One homie made more than 30m during covid-19, I said go start something but nah! He wanted to build a house, not just a house but a standard one, he's not been able to complete the house till today and he's broke. The problem with the people doing this is they fail to understand that we are in a different generation, the Baby boomers were the people who brought this mentality, it won't work for you Gen Z or Gen Y, your first big Savings should be used to start a business and the second savings to get a car (owing a car is good for your brand, business is all about brand now, House should come last. 78 Likes 7 Shares |

This house has a lovely modest roof. It's a lot better than the towering and overbearing gerad roofing design they commonly use in nigerian buildings. I tried to understand the logic of high pitch roofing, but I couldn't. They waste alot of planks and roofing sheets for a space that could have have been converted to an attic. Moreover, it hides the beauty of a house by shading like a tipi tent. . 24 Likes 2 Shares |

The OP is right, but the above doesn't apply to land. If you make your first money, make sure you BUY LAND cos land always appreciates and you can always resell if you need to. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

money121: Your title was misleading. “House” not “Home”. Besides, you are trying to create a template for people, not minding individuals cases are different. Individuals that are doing mobile business will need a car first but individual that has a store might build a house and create a mini shop in the house; by so doing, he doesn’t need to pay rent and commute to workplace. Generally , the way you compared a “car” to a “ house” was faulty. A house is generally considered as an asset while a car is a liability. You failed to consider many factors in your write up. 23 Likes |
