Before you patronize any fiber service, ask your neighbors, those in same estate or neighborhood as you, who have been using the service, of their experience. No one from far can give you an accurate review of the service. 7MB/s was more than enough for unlimited internet in 2022 and even now in 2024. Also that was my plan IIRC, ipnx offer up to 1gbps. I’ve even downgraded since then because of economy and as long as it’s unlimited the speed isn’t an issue asides streaming.

Which airtel router are you using with the unlimited 20 plan? I don dey reason am say i dey spend 15k on swift plan which gives me 40gb per month with unlimited downloads daily from 11pm - 8am. I never add the 4k i also spend on mtn plan for my mobile device too.

Why don't you look into Airtel unlimited plans? Or are the Spectranet plans better? If you can afford it, Starlink makes more sense than any of the other.

By the way, is anybody using MTN Fiber plans? How is the experience? Though coverage is very limited.

I use the MTN Fiber plans. The speed is constant and truly unlimited. The only time I had a downtime was due to a faulty generator from the base station.

I wish they had a pause option for when I am out of town so that the validity can be extended, my swift unlimited had that feature

Can i get the pocket wifi router because i checked the airtel website and it goes for 10k, and also that wifi allows for the subscription of airtel 20 as i checked plans that can be purchased with it. Also, is anyone using the sim on another router different from airtel? I already have a very fast router and just want to port the sim from the pocket wifi to the other one to enjoy the benefits.
