I suppose you were just comfortable to state your bet naija strategy at N10 until it started taking down your SP targets one after the other. Then you became aggresively vocal about how some people were manipulating the SP. Then, out of the blues, story changed after speaking with chairman. It might be the reason some people assumed you sold out and just got back in. Nothing wrong in selling o but I believe you haven't sold sef.

Right Issues and PO that haven't even close yet, talkless of finalizing the paperworks.
Both will close on Sept 9th if there won't be extension again.........while interim Div qualification date is 13th.
Collation from receiving agents may take another one or two weeks after closing date self.

I thought of taken out my capital in Oando today and I hissed when comparing my capital n my returns. Na like i no commot anything.

Exactly, I am not selling any unit of Oando till it gets to #17 which is my breakeven price. I have turned the little units of the stock to long term investment. Maybe in the coming years, dividend of #17 will cover my cost price. Maybe in 5 years time, I will say I bought Oando for #17.

I saw Seplat on this forum at #300, you know the price today.

I won't advice anyone to buy Oando at this price, it is very risky as there might be serious pull back soon before it continues it's onward journey.

The difference between when oando bought conoco and now after buying agip is that Oando is the operator, as in, they are the ones managing the assets on behalf of nnpc, and we know nnpc who is nnpc, and nnpc doesn't have too much say

Once it's confirmed from your target broker that they have submitted all necessary documents, all that remains is in the hands of cscs, No broker determines that.

If it's from an existing/functional firm to another operating firm, it will also depend on the firm you are moving from ie how quickly and willing they are to process your request.

In all, nothing less than 4 weeks from the date your new firm submitted the required documents all things being equal.

The oil and gas sector is a global sector hence any wrong step taken by government could lead to serious international diplomatic issues that we do not imagine. How could you possibly favour an ENI (Italian) and frustrate a Mobil (American) or Shell (UK), all because of small a company like Oando?
