I used to worry about the rate at which people comment in complete ignorance. You are asking Dangote to do what he has been doing for over 7 years. What is MRS? a fast food joint?. No wonder the SMs platforms are so tensed with people driving ignorant comments and opinions. 1 Like 1 Share |

It is actually not allowed by law in Nigeria for upstream companies to get involved in downstream operations like petrol retailing. |

You non get the same number of heads like Dangotte He has done his own part, next thing you will ask is why he cannot bring the fuel to your house. Leave what another man can do and focus on what you can do. If I check now, you probably will be one of those who were shouting that the refinery was a scam just because he was facing some hiccups. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

You are the ignoramus, as MRS is in no way owned by Dangote. If I am not mistaken it is owned by Dantata! So try to get your facts right before insulting others.... Dangote cannot own and run an enterprise in such a very very bad way. Dangote runs his enterprise very professionally. dealslip: 1 Like |

I don’t think forward integration should be Dangote’s priority for now. Nigeria is so big he can’t possibly offer retail services all over the country. Beside, NNPC and other Independent marketers won’t even allow that. He can be a small player through MRS but that’s all. His priority for now should be backward integration in order to secure the source of his raw material. He should be making attempt to venture into crude oil production or buy out the stake of some IOCs in the country. He can also do JV with NNPC and other OML/OPL license holders. That’s a better way to secure the continued existence of his refinery. 4 Likes |

sorepco: double Ignoramus. And Danata is who to Dangote? Are you aware Dangote is a member of the Danata family? In 2009, the Dantatas bought Texaco in collaboration with Chevron. BAT owns Oando through Wale Tinubu but Dangote cannot own MRS through Sarriyu Dantata. 😂 |
