Considering Igbos came to the education field 50 years late... They have an impressive achievement... I honestly expected all to be yorubas

What we should be talking today is present day professors and their state of origin

The illogicality in most of your arguments at least from past experiences and encounters on this platform will not permit me to go on with this argument.

What records do you have to prove that Igbos came 50 years late?
What would have been your position or view if the same were to be said by a person of another tribe? Perhaps, you will call on fire and brimstone.

Good day.

yeah but all the professor listed were all males as if women didn't contribute, it is not fair to women. It is like creating a list full of female professors how would the men reading it feel ?

I agree with you. Both should be represented.

Theophilus Oladipo Ogunlesi (12 July 1923 – 19 January 2023) was a Nigerian academic and the first professor of medicine in Nigeria.

Kenneth Onwuka Dike (17 December 1917 – 26 October 1983 was a Nigerian educationist, historian and the first Nigerian Vice-Chancellor of the nation's premier college, the University of Ibadan.

During the Nigerian civil war, he moved to Harvard University.[4] He was a founder of the Ibadan School that dominated the writing of the History of Nigeria until the 1970s.[5] He is credited with "having played the leading role in creating a generation of African historians who could interpret their own history without being influenced by Eurocentric approaches."

Kudos to them all

No! There isn't any "seem"! They don't dominate any of these fields at all, and much less Medical! They're extremely far from Yorubas in the field of Medicine, either through pioneering or otherwise.

Do not spin any history to misguide your people. No concoction. Stupid man wey like good thing but too dumb to go after it but envious of those who do.

So,
Medicine
Psychiatry
Paediatrics
Public health are not part of the medical sciences.?

You can never disappoint.
Don't mind the fool! Yorubas need to be very vocal and careful going forward with these people. They have strong agenda. They're twisting history right before our eyes.

In fact, Physiology and Pharmacology are basic medicals, while main clinical medicals include Medicine, Pediatrics, and Public Health.

That guy is worst! His ilks will see this and go about mouthing off rubbish, chestbeating like roaches.

The beauty of Nigeria is that they have tens of hundreds or thousands of professors. But there is nothing in the country to show that anyone of them has an I.Q above 50. Is it just by sitting in class, reading and passing exams? What impacts have they had in the society at large? When covid hit, all the virologists disappeared into their shells until vaccines came from the western world. Engineers? Many of them are working as technicians under Lebanese contractors.

We need to understand what education is all about. It doesn't end with bogus titles. Our problem-solving algorithm seems to be 1) Get the education 2) when problems arise, throw away the brain and try to solve
it with prayers and fasting.

I think professor Chike Obi, as popular as he was, he's not the first professor of mathematics. The first professor of Mathematics in Nigeria is professor Adegoke Olubunmo.
People are allowed to fact check me.

Everyone knows Igbos embraced education last.. It's well know... Igbos never accepted British rule till around 1914 to 1918

There is a reason no igbo man signed almagametion but when igbos started to go to school in the 1920s they embraced it 100%

By 1960s the dominated federal civil service

Many of them get grants from NGOs abroad which they waste on logistics like SUVs instead of the actual researches. They see themselves as very erudite yahoo boys. There are funds being disbursed in Nigeria in different capacities but they end up being diverted for private uses.

They have been with the British from time. Apart from tomatoes and onions what do they bring to the table. They are even the worst to inter marry. So what do they know apart from shady politics

I have said this and will say this again…..religion is meant for man and not man for religion. If its not working, review it to meet the modern age, so you can pass usefulness to ur children. How can in this day a system like almajiri still exits, a man giving birth to 25 children, a man marrying 12 years old kids

Please review ur religion and listen to what Emir Sanusi has been saying since. He seems to be the only half sane individual there. Half sane because he also married how many wives has how many kids again??

At least everyone will now see your true colors that you tried to promote falsehood and bigotry.

At least three lies could be spotted in your post. But I will correct you.

1. The first professor not only in Nigeria, but also in Africa is Professor Ajose. Kenneth Dike is only the first professor of history, infact he dey learn from where Professor Ajose dey. Despite being the first professor of history, Dike did not learn from history to prevent the war from happening!!!

2. The Omoluabis dominated all fields, including medicine, etc. infact, 70% of the professors in your post are Omoluabis.

3. You categorized professors from Delta states as belonging to the igbos!!! What a lie!!! You normally do this whenever it suits your narrative. But when it does not suit you you disown them. (I hope Amaka will not include Delta people among those she plan to poison sha).

I know you are disappointed that it happened that the Omoluabis are the most educated and that your list also confirmed this. Your intentions boomeranged on you. What a shame.

Had it been the other way, you and your kith and kin would have been chest-beating as usual, abusing everyone and calling other tribes illiterates.

I only pity your people that easily take your lies, without any attempt to find out by themselves. That is why people like David Hyundeyin and Pidom are catching out from your ignorance. What a pity.

(Maybe I should add:

Pita Obi is the first Professor of Gbajue-ism).

I am sure you are not really happy about the fact that the Yorubas dominate the list, but you do not have a choice in posting it because of the falsehood you intend to spread to your gullible fans.

There is nothing you can do about it. The Yorubas are your senior brothers and sisters in everything positive.
