You make it sound so simple. The chance of this happening in the manner you described is 1:1000

It has actually happened in several years here only that the difficulty is in spotting them and being strongly convinced without listening to the side talks that could shake your conviction. Take OANDO for example. Do you know the internal and external battles fought by those who bought into it with the hope of this kind of deadly rally? It also happened in CHAMS last year. Even UCAP did some 300% earlier this year and is on the way again trying to repeat it.
I don't even doubt that of UCAP with a 6 months time frame from now. Mark it.

I think you could get a 20% to 30% dip if the deep pockets are done buying.

The downside of ethanol blends are numerous but it is way better than what we currently have in Nigeria... smiley

megawealth01:
Launched by the Dangote Refinery, the newly introduced "white" fuel, also known as PMS (Premium Motor Spirit), has been generating interest due to its clear, water-like color. But what does this color indicate?

The color of petrol typically signifies its composition:

- Red: Octane has been added
- Slightly Green: High octane content
- Yellow: Unleaded, meaning no lead is present

However, the clear, colorless appearance of Dangote's fuel suggests the use of ethanol. Ethanol-enriched fuel offers several benefits:

- Improved engine efficiency and power
- Reduced carbon emissions, as ethanol contains oxygen, which minimizes carbon buildup in engines
- Lower air pollution, resulting in decreased carbon dioxide emissions

This makes Dangote's "white" fuel the most environmentally friendly and efficient option available.

I heard that...

The Price of Petrol is heart breaking right now.

How much are they selling in your area?

It is important that those in diaspora understand that many of their folks back home will always paint a very bleak picture for them so that you can send more money home.

I am not saying you should or should not send money to your folks but if some of you see the kinds of things folks use the free money they get from their relatives abroad who deny themselves many luxuries just so they can have money to send home do with those money, you go wan cry tears non go come out.

How Tulumbu stole Oando from Lagosians... grin grin grin

Its good to see this old story get more attention

It does appear that if some people have the power, they would deliberately crash Oando SP just to prove a point or get at whoever they consider as enemies.

Unfortunately, this thing is bigger than them smiley smiley

One of the surest ways to become the ''enemy'' of the typical average Nigerian is to become very rich and highly blessed beyond their imagination.
To most Nigerians, every rich man is a criminal and corrupt.
Ask them to mention just one very rich Nigerian that has not suffered from the lies, absolutely ridiculous rumours, conspiracy theories, baseless stories and other shenanigans of Nigerians:.
Dangote; Atiku; Adenuga; Otedola, Maduka, Iwuanyanwu, (RIP); Abiola (RIP) etc.

I am not saying that every rich man is clean and innocent, but you need to speak to facts, not just lies borne out of ignorance, politics, tribalism, etc.

I see many Nigerians like you speak ill of other Nigerians as if you're from Pluto. When drilled to its core, many of what you attribute to Nigerians alone happen across the world and are worse elsewhere.

Please, let Nigerians breathe, the economy is suffocating us already.

My contributions here will definitely be to point out matters affecting Nigeria as it relates to its economy and maybe seldom drop signals...

Don't be too offended; this is a faceless platform.
And those who might have talked or typed harsh words to you may even be your very good friends or colleagues or acquittances in the physical world when you identify or meet them.

Yes, that's how the saying goes but I don't think there's anything to warrant this here.....maybe I viewed the post from a perspective of you being arrogant or something anyway.

Loud noise as in people posting their views or being active here or being small investors?

No vex. I just don't understand ni o.
You can make me to understand if you don't mind.

This response may not be necessary, may not be kind, may not be respectful, may touch the emotions of the person being quoted. I'm not sure that's nice. OP did not mention anyone or any description in particular. Let's put ourselves in others' shoes sometimes. All love, no insult or judgements intended.

It's very necessary pls.
This is someone that has been contributing less, gaining much, yet making derogatory remarks on those posting, including those posting vital info.

The remark just made me remember when our Ogas used to be very active here, dominate discussions and they used to create time out of their busy schedule to give us Financial education, analyse results as they're coming in, predict stocks using FA/TA/Charts, make research, answer different questions, etc.
Can someone refer to any of them as "an empty barrel"? People wey fit buy a whole company for NGX self

I just felt such generalized derogatory remark was unfair in it's entirety and a slight on many here.
If you want to call out anyone, do so....but don't insult people that are helping us here.
That was how some have carelessly chased away resource persons.

Did anyone bother to ask why we've not been seeing Customstreet here as such again?

If that's what they want, maybe we should all be coming to read.....
....but the issue is that Nsempas will be missing out on some general, vital and first hand info.
Let's learn to engage ourselves in constructive criticism without insulting or demeaning anyone because we don't even know who's who here.
We have different type of personalities here.......from all walks of life, both within and outside Naija.
In fact some monikers that we "commonnize" here ehhnnn, if you know their worth, you go doff your hat. smiley

Thanks for sharing. I did not see the person that way nor think that they were referring to people who actually contribute to the forum, and that's the reason for my post. But now I see through your lens. My post wasn't meant to talk ill about your post either. More strength to the elbows of all of you who contribute from your knowledge and time.

They were looking at this month. But the deal may now be prolonged to October. Closing price on last day before listing on NASD will determine the open price on NGX. It’s a stock split of 20x

still waiting sideline with my oga Agba observing......

NSEindex will still shed weight unless it move back above 100k lipsrsealed

some stock will follow NSEindex down , some will resist the shedding.. shocked

some pple are angry with themselves for missing Oando so they are eyeing Nascon/DS "dangotefood" cheesy

Technically, Nascon price already below strong support levels so I expect more downward price but if price could mange move above 40 then this could change story.

DS still trying to move to the strong support at 32/33 levels before deciding further move cheesy H1 numbers not attractive undecided

unlike the DS/Nascon waiting for good news to surprise the mkt, one particular stock may even do better... fundamentally bedsheet look good and TA indicated ready to fly, while am still in waiting it already added some weight since my bedsheet notice it sad....embarassed the stock in the same sector will likely follow this stock to fly as indicated by the chat grin

anyway Q3 around the conner for better clarity
