Appeal? Was there a preocedural fairness letter issued? your brother should be happy as he just escaped a 5 years ban. Forget about appeal. Nothing to appeal there. Deering1008: |

Deering1008: In this situation, you cannot directly appeal a visa refusal to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). However, you have a couple of options: 1)Request a Reconsideration: [/b]Write a letter to the visa office explaining that you accidentally left out the previous visa refusal. Include details and any supporting documents. While this may not always change the decision, it's worth a try. [b]2) but your best option is to Submit a New Application: You can apply again. In the new application, include all relevant information, including the previous U.S. visa refusal, and attach a letter to explain the earlier mistake . 1 Like |

My last visit there was in July 2022. I was not asked for medical insurance. Or any documents for that matter. I was only asked what brought me to Canada. I told them, they let through and that was it. deltafly: 1 Like |

If you reach out to them before they do it will not be a problem. That thing comes with a 5 years ban. Some people have challenged it up to the federal court and still have not gotten the 5 years and have reversed it. See excerpts of a Judicial Review below; Respondent JUDGMENT AND REASONS I. Overview [1] The Applicant, Ms. Ying Wang, is a Chinese citizen. She seeks judicial review pursuant to subsection 72(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, SC 2001 c 27 [IRPA] of a decision of an officer [the Officer] of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada [IRCC] in Beijing, China, refusing her application for a temporary resident visa. The Officer refused her application for a visa because Ms. Wang failed to respond properly to a question and omitted to disclose a prior US visa revocation. [2] For the reasons that follow, this application for judicial review is dismissed. II. Background [3] In 2019, Ms. Wang applied for a temporary resident visa to visit her son, who is a permanent resident of Canada. On her application, she answered “no” to the following question: “Have you ever been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country or territory?” [4] During the course of the first review, an officer of IRCC learned that Ms. Wang had failed to disclose a prior US visa revocation. The Global Case Management System notes indicate that an initial procedural fairness letter was sent to the Applicant, but no response was received. On October 30, 2019, an officer refused the application. hayatou27: |

In my case that was January 2 this year. I wrote a letter of Reconsideration. And I addressed the refusal but it was Canada refusal , I forgot to state it. And its even ETA application o, yet they still send a letter that I did not disclose that I was refused a visa back in 2018. You can try send them letter. ====================== In my letter I made mention this below. I would like to provide additional information to clarify the matter and assure you that there was no intent to mislead or provide false information. I acknowledge that I made an oversight in not disclosing a previous Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) refusal on May 23, 2018. I sincerely apologize for this omission and any confusion it may have caused. It was not my intention to withhold any relevant information, and I take full responsibility for the oversight. I hope this clarifies any discrepancies in my application. It was not my intention to provide inaccurate information, and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. In light of this, I kindly request that you reconsider my application in the context of the additional information provided. I assure you of my commitment to complying with all immigration regulations, and I am more than willing to cooperate with any further inquiries or requests for documentation that may assist in the evaluation of my application. I appreciate your time and attention to this matter. If there are any further steps or information required from my end, please do not hesitate to inform me promptly. I look forward to a favorable resolution of this matter and appreciate your understanding. Thank you for your consideration. And Guess what? lol Well maybe u can write something like that in your new application if its already closed. but in my own case, the application was still under review. Deering1008: |

Good morning house, please I need advice. I put in an application for Canada visitor visa in July and then I got a U.S visa in August. As advised here I sent a webform attaching the U.S Visa and asking for CAN + eligibility, no response yet and I noticed this in the automatic reply: For temporary resident applications, we do not accept documents sent by email if you have applied online. The email and the document sent will not be added to your application for consideration when assessing your application: I want to ask if it is advisable to withdraw my application and then submit a new application so the US visa can help. My urgency is because I want to give birth in Canada and I’m due in December. Please your advice would be appreciated. |

Good day sir/ Maa. I'm very new to this forum but please I have two questions to ask I will be glad if I can get answer today, First: I submitted canada visitor visa three months ago, in the biodata form I only state it there that I was refused canada visitor visa on September 2022, I forget to include it there that I was also refused France visiting visa in 2019 but I was told by some friends that canada only share the Biometric information with USA, UK, New Zealand and Australia that France is not included so I should be at peace. Pls I want to ask sir/maa how true it is or what should I do. 2nd question: on that same Biodata form there is a place where they mention if I have National identity document number I tick No but last week I was discussing with my friend abt it and she said the national identity document they are referring to is the same as my NIN number in my International passport but have already tick no wen filling the form. Pls is it the same thing and if is d same wot should I do. Note: I did everything by myself I'm not using any agent. |

For your second question, what I can tell you is that I did not include my NIN in my application and it has gone through successfully. I have no comments regarding the first question. Cheers. Nikkyy1: |

Nikkyy1: Your friends may be right. Since you were not banned or deported from France they will not have the information. NIN is optional and not a travel document. Many |

Why do people always forget previous visa refusals. Any refusal is painful enough to remember for the rest of your life, in my opinion. Nikkyy1: 3 Likes |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by olasubomy: 11:47am On Sep 07 |
Nikkyy1: Hello, 1. I dont think you should rely solely on the countries that forms the five migration partners on whether you should declare a previous refusal. As long as you submitted your fingerprints (biometrics) to the french authorities and also did same for Canada. Anything, can happen. Since your application is now 3 months old,it is likely to have gone to an advanced stage. Hopefully, decision comes without the authorities detecting your record with France like your first Canada application. Please, dont make that mistake in your future applications, all visa refusals should be disclosed. 2. That issue of NIN should not affect your application. All the best! |

please what should i do as my agent saw a notification on the biometrics section saying "no fingerprint" although on the said day i was asked why my finger is having a tiny hole and said it's just washing soap reaction |

I feel attention had been given to study visa in the last 2 to 3weeks because of the Fall Resumption so student application can be either refused or approved. Next week we should get more decisions for March and April TRVs. Singlefile: 1 Like |

mblarry1: Good day Please kindly confirm if you have gotten any response from IRCC as i too applied in Nov last year and i have not gotten any response from them. My agent has even granted me access to track my application myself and she is telling the truth when she says she has not heard from them. I am getting really worried now because every body who applied after me has gotten either approval or refusal. 1 Like |
