Answer in one word . Am deeply disturb about the current Government action on the sudden increase of petrol pump price without warning. If no action is taken many people might fall more deeper into poverty and die.

Employment
congratulations and send your account number. Over 100 million Nigerians are unemployed with no assistance from Government. By creating jobs you increase productivity and most problems facing Nigeria will disappear. The Current level of unemployment is unsustainable and something must be done urgently.

You can't create balanced employment without restructuring... When you restructure, like what Tinubu is doing with local government autonomy, you will be able to reach the unemployed and under employed... You'll be able to know what is needed through the chairmen data information frm each local government

Employment with low salary structure will still not solve anything. Inflation will still occur.

Working on the exchange rate - import and export - is a way of sustaining good governance and improving the living costs of the citizens.

Salary - 30k
Cost of bag of rice - 70k
Rent (self-contained) - 150k
Transport for a month - 1200 x 12 = 14,400

How does employment solve the issue?

You should try to reconsider your take, it is flawed

I don't consider those earning 30k a month as employed. Anyone earning below 100k is not consider employed by me under this Government

Your take is valid, looking at it from this angle, it is quite obvious that the current administrations are not getting it right.....it seems they are devoid of any qualified Economist.

Employment cannot and will not solely solve the current situation.

Eejo should be mindful of the above take.

Even those earning 100k with large family will surely not be able to afford the basic need because of the current exchange rate.

House rent is on the high, fuel is on the high, data consumption is on the high, food is on the high!

Salary of 200k is nothing to write home about!

My point is this:

Someone earning 100k 8 years ago and enjoying the privilege of middle class cannot and will not be able to afford those same privilege now.

Salary of 100k is like 20k today, the exchange rate have made everything to be expensive..... employment cannot solve anything, fixing the economy will do a whole positive.

CBN and NNPC was formally created as a regulatory Agencies and they play vital role in our polity.

CBN and NNPC should leave business alone and focus on the objective in which it was created.

If you recall very well, CBN and NNPC have been in existence for a very long time now but it was not pronounced in our polity like today.

CBN was supposed to be a Bank for other banks while NNPC was also supposed to be Petroleum agency for other private petroleum company.

They should please as a matter of urgency, restrain from involving themselves in full time business.

You can't fix exchange rate without employment and increase productivity. I work in the Healthcare system overseas and a patient care in my unit per day is 30 million naira. Many leaders from Africa spend lot funds taking care of themselves leaving you for GOD miracle. You don't refine your petrol, lithium and Gold and import many things waiting for exchange rate to improve without producing things is impossible. You can't produce things without employment.
