Nothing impress me about him anymore, I liked him and thought he will be a good president but he broke my heart.

I was reliably informed on how he transformed Lagos and how good he was with governance but I guess a lot changed about him.

Firstly I faulted his appointees and noticed he was just appointing people based on personal relationship and not competence. Not even one Okonjo iweala or Sanusi Lamido in his government. I still wish him to do well, any government that has no good impact on the downtrodden is a bad government.
Put Nigeria in your daily prayers and ask God to fix it.

Shalom
..God will not come down and fix anything.. the bible says faith prayers without work is dead...the bible also says I will bless the hands of your labour...God has already blessed this country with abundant crude oil ,gas, mineral resources, fertile land for agriculture... it's for us nigerians and the government to use this things God blessed Nigeria with to make the country and economy to be good and better and inorder for nigerians to have a better life and standard of living

They are pampering him so that he will return their loan quickly.
No be everybody you see for reception attend the church wedding service.
Na food most of them come chop.
I see more plastic rice to the rice nation.

Of course they will give him the best reception, untill he pays their loan.
Who wouldn't pamper their debtors ? especially when you are aware your money and the interest therein is at stake.
If possible you will even offer free treatment any time they fall ill just to keep them alive till you get your money back.
That's exactly what China is doing to Tinubu.

FOOLISH REASONING.

Many other countries owe China far more than Nigeria, and the Chinese haven't honoured them with state visits and 21-gun salutes.

HATER.

Tinubu didn't transform Lagos. Whoever told you that he did lied to you.

Fashola and Ambode are the best governors Lagos has ever had since 1999, cos their achievements are visible even to the blind.

The ''transformation'' of Lagos is not a one-governor affair.

Tinubu began the process of transformation.

There was no way he was going to ''transform Lagos'' in the few years he was governor, especially if you know what Lagos was like back then.

Governance is a continuum.

By transformation, I'm talking about visible achievements not paper achievements. Any Lagosian would easily confirm this.

Besides he was the one using the "Transformation" word during his campaign. Forgetting that if we're to go by visible achievements, even Gen Marwa would be rated above him.

So It was prayers that developed UAE, Saudi Arabia, Japan, China, Germany etc abi?

So if God can fix Nigeria by himself, why do we go into voting humans in elections, why don't we vote God?

Wetin concern China with whoever Nigeria elect. They are just doing protocol.

Anybody hyping this grandpa is just the joke on him/her. The old man exhumed from the grave of Naija is just living his retirement dream on the detriment of it's citizen. What a useless so called president. See dollar to naira like say Nigeria is no more exporting crude oil

DeLaRue:
Nigeria - big, strong, and powerful.

China measures the extent of it ceremonial welcome very carefully.

This level of welcome is reserved for governments it holds in the highest regard.

Foreign countries and institutions are not stupid. They know Mr Tinubu's economic reforms are the key to turbo charging this giant called Nigeria.

Removal of subsidy has been welcome by IMF, World Bank, UK, Europe, and most countries.

In the past they wondered how a country that needed infrastructure and development so desperately could be borrowing heavily to pay fuel subsidy. They looked at us from afar and shook their heads in silence, thinking, how stupid!

Did anyone notice that during the recent protests ambassadors of European countries in Nigeria issued a statement saying the government's reforms were necessary. It is very rare for these countries to intervene directly and openly like that to support an African government.

Nigerians, please let us remove this corrosive subsidy pata pata so the money can go into other areas.

In the past 10 years, this last 2 months have been the period when I have spent the least to fuel my generator. And I am not even in Band A. It means electricity is improving. Other things will improve too in due course.

Let's persevere in the short term, and I hope the government can find quick, effective ways to help those that are most affected by the current hardship.

This is our opportunity to make changes that previous government should have made. We must not waste this opportunity.

The reason other Presidents did not make these changes was because they knew they would be very unpopular. Mr Tinubu knows this too, but he is putting the interest of the country first. He has said if he is not re-elected, he doesn't mind as long as these essential changes are made.

What more can you ask of a leader?

Tinubu forced ambode out of office cos the latter refused to give him the monthly amount of money he was demanding for.

Ambode had so many projects on ground and when he made it clear to Tinubu that he doesn't have any money to give to him, Tinubu removed him from office.

Till tomorrow lagosians still rate ambode as a good governor. Far better than Tinubu.

With all the facts on ground, you accepted the "truth" you choose to accept and filtered the rest. Now go back to the speeches and records of other presidential candidates and tell me how you ended up thinking he was the best candidate. Dude didn't even really say anything intelligent, the most daring thing he said was that it was his turn grin grin grin grin
You all lied to yourself that he is so rich that he doesn't need naija money, forgetting that a rich person also wants to be super rich, now oando market cap has shot up by over 100x cheesy grin grin grin

Again, go back and watch the Chatham house interviews, he performed the worst. Tinubu doesn't believe in meritocracy, why would he? He doesn't believe in leaving things to take its natural order, why would he when you can keep on influencing things, be the master planner, god, that's why millions of lagosians can't decide who to rule them.

This is just one year, and the most annoying thing is that these damages will affect you and your kids. Some are not alive and many will not survive tinubu's carnage
