Seems the Republican Party wants to be done with Trump.

Former Vice President Dick Cheney will vote for Harris, his daughter Liz Cheney says
The younger Cheney, one of former President Donald Trump's most prominent conservative critics, also said she was supporting Democratic Rep. Colin Allred for Senate in Texas.

This may be the one thing that can hurt Harris.

If Israel is this careless that they are killing Americans in the West Bank, I can't imagine what it's like for Palestinians.

American Woman Shot and Killed at West Bank Protest

A 26-year-old American woman was fatally shot on Friday in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, where witnesses said she was taking part in a protest against a settler outpost when Israeli forces opened fire.

"The coordinated campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris raised $361 million in August, nearly three times as much as the $130 million collected by the coordinated effort of her Republican rival, Donald Trump, giving her a clear financial edge with two months to go before Election Day, her campaign announced Friday.

Harris’s larger campaign, which boasts hundreds more staff, dozens more offices and a bigger advertising budget than Trump, also ended the month with more cash on hand.

You actually made a great point, probably unbeknownst to you.
Part of the reason interest rates are so high now is because they were kept very low by Trump's bullying of the Fed through his Presidency
Inflation rates were low under Obama because it was necessary since Obama was rescuing the US from a Bush recession.
But why were they low under Trump?
Because he bullied the Fed so that he could have better economic numbers.
But when Covid came, what happened? Interest rates were already so low that the FED lost one of its tools to combat an economic downturn. Hence the use and need of more demand-side stimulus.
Something we can again blame on Trump and the News media doesn't talk enough about.

Where can I verify this claim? unless America has become a shithole like Nigeria, I find it hard to swallow that an American president can bully the almighty FED reserve.

He actually was in dispute with the Feds to reduced the interest rate which helped the economy. They then started posting trump made the right decision by mistake.

This is how nuts and how ridiculous Trump was. He was arguing that the key rate of 1% was too high.
Trump tried his hardest to turn America into Nigeria. He ran roughshod over every institution.
If he gets a second term he may well succeed.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump said Saturday he had the power to fire or demote Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, adding new fuel to his long-running animus toward the central bank’s leader at a moment when the economy was at risk of edging into recession.

Powell announced earlier this month a half-point interest rate cut that shrank the Fed’s key rate to a range of just 1% to 1.25%. It marked the first time the central bank has cut rates between scheduled policy meetings since the 2008 financial crisis. And it’s the steepest rate cut the Fed has made since then.

Yet, the president continued to complain that he was “not happy with the Fed” because it was “following” and “we should be leading.” The president pointed to lower interest rates set by the central banks in Japan and Germany as proof that Powell had not been aggressive enough in bolstering the U.S. economy. Economists, however, say the lower rates reflect the weaker economic outlooks than the U.S. economy.

Damn, it seems one concern is that Kamala seems to turn her staff over often.
Yeah, the trouble seems to be she has a prosecutorial mindset, so is super focused/prepared and doesn't like sycophants.
That's going to make her a terrible president /s

that's not him being nuts, that's him being proactive, and he was vindicated in the end. it is why under Biden they don't know what they are doing.

Sit this one out.
1.) The Fed is supposed to be independent.
2.) He was doing this long before Covid.
3.) He was not vindicated.

This was in 2018. Long before Trump started lying that Covid would not be a big deal.
President Donald Trump directly accused Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell of endangering the U.S. economy by raising interest rates, according to The Wall Street Journal.

“I’m just saying this: I’m very unhappy with the Fed because Obama had zero interest rates,” Trump told the Journal on Tuesday. “Every time we do something great, he raises the interest rates.”

Yeah, even when they run things to the ground, the guy who appoints the FED chief should take the fall but is not allowed to stop or fire anyone if he believes they are doing a bad job.

He was doing it before covid proves my point.

He was vindicated, that's why they say he got it right by mistake and it was all because of re-election but you just pointed out that he was doing it long before the 2020 election.

The media never gives him credit for anything.

Trump insulted Kim, the media started saying he was being disrespectful, and they dragged Mike Pence for not respecting Kim's sister. They did the same with the ISIS chief.

Q: What specific legislation will you commit to to make child care affordable?

Trump: Well, I would do that and we're sitting down, you know, I was, somebody, we had Marco Rubio and my daughter, Ivanka… But I think when you talk about the kind of numbers that I'm talking about that because the child care is, child care couldn't, you know, there's something you have to have it in this country, you have to have it... I want to stay with child care… So we'll take care of it. Thank you

Some people will stay home or be upset and thus less enthused about Harris's campaign.
A lot of Dems believe in fairness. And what is going on in the Middle East seems unfair.
And nothing adds to that sense when it's just not Palestinian lives that seem to be devalued, but American lives as well.

Netanyahu is doing Biden no favors. And he seems to be using the Presidential election and Biden's fear of ruffling feathers to extract as much as he can from the Middle East.
I want to see if Biden pushes back after the election

I think this was the first time people have asked him real policy questions in years. He imploded on nearly every question. Just stung words together. Wholly incoherent. Listen to the rest of the answers. Esp. the one at mark 12:40 of the video.

Strategic allies of the US get away with all manner. Look at Saudi's involvement in Yemen, what has the US said about it?

At the end of the day there has to be some strategy to keep a strategic alliance. What does Israel give us that another partner can't without the huge cost? That is if you are just talking about it purely on a strategic relationship sense, which most foreign policy is based on. And even then there has to be a recognition of who the bigger partner is. Israel isn't acting as if they are the junior partner here. Saudi Arabia we put up with because of the oil and our economic need for it.

Dem voters can't feel that Israel is committing injustices with the administration's acquiescence by their silence, if Harris wants that turnout.
