Advantages Of Dangote White FuelWhy petrol from my refinery looks clearer — Dangote
The President of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has explained why the first sample of Premium Motor Spirit, commonly known as petrol, from his refinery appears clearer than the petrol currently in circulation.
Speaking during a broadcast at his refinery in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos State, Dangote highlighted that the clearer petrol is more environmentally friendly and could help reduce health issues associated with polluted petroleum products.
He noted that this new petrol would also protect engines from damage caused by the unclear petrol typically found in the market.
He said, “This is the sample of the petrol. You see it as a different colour, but that is the real deal. You are now going to have a good and genuine product.”
Regarding the colour of the diesel, he said, “I am sure Nigerians have not seen this colour of diesel before,” Dangote stated. “This is called Euro-5 diesel. It contains less than 10 parts per million (PPM) of sulphur. This will help vehicles, engines, and generators last longer.”
He further emphasised, “The health of the people and the environment will not be compromised. This is the real deal.” https://www.google.com/amp/s/punchng.com/why-petrol-from-my-refinery-looks-clearer-dangote/%3famp Why fuel from Dangote refinery is ‘pure white, the best’ – Charly BoyWHY DANGOTE FUEL IS WHITE
Reason why the pms Is pure like water. Petrol has different colors, When it's Red that means Octane was added. When it's slightly Green then Octane is slightly very much. When is Yellow it means it has no lead in it. That means it's unleaded. But when it's clear as water as seen in the video then you should know that ethanol was used. What ethanol does is that it improves engine efficiency and power.
Because ethanol has a good amount of oxygen it lessens the amount of carbonation in engines there by reducing air pollution which comes as Carbon dioxide. So this is the best form of Petrol.
Congratulations Dangote . https://x.com/AreaFada1/status/1831689919615447546?t=0itHzFMl8XIf9c6w7HnItQ&s=19 45 Likes 13 Shares |

weyreypey: Why Dangote Refinery Petrol Is White And Its Disadvantages
The white coloured petrol is believed to be blended with ethanol.. popularly call E10 petrol....Bearing in mind that:
Some cars cannot use E10 petrol...If your car was built after 2010, it will be compatible with E10 fuel. If it was built between 2000 and 2010, it will likely run on E10 fuel. However, there are some exceptions, including models from major brands like Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes.
We all love to drive our vehicles. We love them because they are always there for us. Well, it’s our responsibility to take care of them also. The high-quality of fuel that we use keeps our vehicles in a good condition. Right kind of fuel can help you to eliminate extra costs such as equipment damage and mileage problems. Nowadays, a lot of vehicles are getting E10 fuel, which may not be the thing that your vehicle needs. Here are some reasons why E10 fuel may not be good for your vehicle:
Hampers mileage! - Use of ethanol can be the reason for mileage loss. It is because ethanol (E10 fuel) molecule contains less energy value than petrol. This is the reason why have less energy potential, which hampers the mileage. Water content not good for your vehicle! - Pure ethanol absorbs water from the atmosphere around it. Well, it attracts so much that it is impossible for chemical producers to sell 100% pure ethanol as there will always be a little bit of water content in it. From on-road vehicles to marine users, the attraction of water is a huge problem. It happens because when water mounts up in a fuel tank, it settles down to a lot of fuel problems and issues.
Different layers of petrol and ethanol! - The layer of ethanol gets separated from the petrol, which results in two different kinds of layers of different compounds. Ideally, it should be a homogenous mixture of both petrol and ethanol.
Performance issues! - A loss of 2-4 octane points in the fuel mixture caused when petrol separates from ethanol. Well, this causes performance issues and is very unsatisfactory for most vehicles.
The probability of equipment damage - The blend of ethanol and water blend gets settled at the foot of the tank, where the fuel line exists. The fuel line can very easily suck the mixture of water and ethanol up into the combustion chamber.
In such a scenario it will burn like an excessively lean mixture, which won’t have enough petrol. Burning such fuel can be the reason for valve damage.
In the endeavour of going green, many vehicle users face problems because of the use of ethanol in their vehicles. It is good that we are concerned about the environment, but it is also true that it can be very discomforting for the users and damaging for the vehicles. Hence, there must be some other alternative to it, which can be environment-friendly and vehicle friendly at the same time. .Some cars cannot use E10 petrol... If your car was built after 2010, it will be compatible with E10 fuel. If it was built between 2000 and 2010, it will likely run on E10 fuel. However, there are some exceptions, including models from major brands like Ford, Toyota, Volkswagen, Audi and Mercedes. https://www.consumerreports.org/cro/news/2013/03/gas-with-ethanol-can-make-small-engines-fail/index.htm?srsltid=AfmBOopBRsiQ4p1WXa2Oqfos14Wd4azfxv7TLEY8522T_balViYTMWRV 2 Likes 3 Shares |

Whether it is black or white, it is what it is.
If it is good for your engine or not, it is expensive and you even queue for it.
Whether it is good for your engine or not, no fuel station will give you up to a litre as 1 litre. They will always give you 2 litres as 3 litres.
Therefore, channel your attack on the issue itself, not on the shadow of the issue. 19 Likes 1 Share |

Great news if you’re a Ford driver: E10 is cleared for use in all petrol driven Ford models sold in Europe since 1992 excluding:
•Ford Mondeo 1.8 SCI from 2003 to 2007. This particular model, and Ford models sold before 1992, should continue to use E5.
On top of this, 95 per cent of petrol-powered vehicles on the road right now can use E10 petrol. All cars built since 2011 are compatible. This means the whole new Ford car range are compatible too. If your car does fit into the 5 per cent that are not compatible with E10 petrol, you will still be able to fill up with E5 fuel by purchasing the ‘super’ grade petrol.
Personal imports that are not approved by Ford of Europe are not included in this statement. You can check if your car is E10 compatible on the UK Government’s website here. SAUCE 22 Likes |

Thank you for deepening the discussion scope. However most Toyota here in Nigeria are not made for Europe....most are American versions from Quora Yes, you can use E10 petrol in a 2004 Toyota Prius without any significant ill effects. The 2004 Prius is designed to run on regular unleaded petrol, and E10, which contains up to 10% ethanol, is generally compatible with most vehicles manufactured after the late 1990s.
However, it's worth noting a few considerations:
Fuel System Compatibility: While most modern vehicles can handle E10, older vehicles may have fuel system components that could be more sensitive to ethanol. The Prius should be fine, but if you notice any unusual performance issues, it’s worth consulting a mechanic. Fuel Economy: Ethanol has a lower energy content than gasoline, which may result in slightly reduced fuel economy when using E10 compared to pure gasoline. Warranty: If your vehicle is still under warranty (which is unlikely for a 2004 model), check the terms to see if using E10 affects coverage. Local Availability: If you live in an area where E10 is the standard fuel, it’s a practical choice. Overall, using E10 in your 2004 Toyota Prius should be safe and effective. 22 Likes |
