Just say that you lack the capacity and capability to understand what Peter Obi said.
Peter Obi is not Tinubu who said nothing

What would obi have done differently.....you are only trying to impose your bias narrative,a product of deranged myopia!!

Leave Peter Obi alone, he is not president. Tinubu is the president and have turned out to be a colossal failure. His regime is now the worst regime in the history of this country.

Is September 2022 more recent than January 2023 when it was just 1month to the election he lost to Tinubu, and he made the below vow to remove subsidy immediately?

The day Nigerians decide that they cannot live without fuel subsidy, Peter Obi who believes in subsidy removal on the 1st day in office would not be their choice, so stop trying to force it.

No consumer would deliberately purchase an expired product that Peter Obi represents.

Unlike Peter Obi, Omoyele Sowore vowed not to remove subsidy, but only about 14,000 Nigerians voted for him, the least of which came from the SouthEast who preferred to vote their tribal brother at almost 100%, so no votes left for any other candidate to score in the SouthEast.

22million Nigerians voted for Tinubu, Atiku, and Obi who all vowed to remove subsidy, instead of Sowore.

Elections do have consequences.

you're a stoopid person, why should they vote another person when that is all they have been doing since time immemorial. Was it not the turn of the SE to produce president? you cunning sly bassterdz , Idiots everywhere grin

No, petrol has to be sold at a profit. Forget cabals....petrol has to be sold at a profit.

Cabals only exist to make false subsidy claims...and even then most of them got wiped out by the government in 2016 when NNPCwas made the sole importer of fuel.

The canals still exist even within NNPC that spends funds for TAM on our refineries with nothing to show for it. The subsidy was never a problem but insincerity within the structure. Was this not why dangote said fuel consumption within the nation can now be measured indirectly implying that it was not done previously.

Your misconception is to think any candidate that won election in 2023 would have provided Nigeria with stable electricity by 2024.

Will the funds drop from heaven lile rain, and would the infrastructure just appear and start working like an imagination?

Tinubu as far back as 1999 with only few months in office as Governor, already understood the need for improved power and the means to get it done, so he appraoched Enron in the USA to come to Lagos and set up an IPP.

But you are talking about a Peter Obi that went to Egypt to get campaign talking points in 2022.

Why did Obi not go to Egypt when he was Governor?

No matter how hard I try to explain, you will never understand. Tinubu knows nothing about the job he got for himself and that is why Nigeria is in a mess. What manner of man goes for an interview and asks his friend to answer his questions for him.

Atiku or Obi would have done a better job but you will never accept that fact. So keep enjoying your renewed hope till 2037.

Its disheartening to know that there re still individuals who still don't think that this administration is nothing short of failure.

That some pple still legit defend Tinubu either because of tribe or salary, clearly shows how some pple hv successfully cemented their conscience, and how degenerated our value system has gotten and trust me we can't make progress as a nation with this kind of thwarted mindset and orientation.

Its safe to say that we have by far, the most stupid set of citizens in the world sentiment aside!

I hv alwys opined that Nigeria has gone past repairs.

This Nation is irredeemable.

You had a candidate from your tribe who promised not to remove subsidy but you chose a drug baron, certificate forger and serial treasury looter who is so hungry to build a private economic empire out of public money for himself and family. You chose to collide head-on with a moving train because the liar driving it had told you he was a stronger tribal warrior than Sowore.

Today, the crook has converted NNPC to a family business and passed the burden of hefty fuel prices to a dumbass like you. I'm sure you thought he'll concoct a preferential price for you and your likes but take heart. There's a price for stupidity.

Peter Obi's suggestion is a good one however, the country would need to consider the debt ceiling and the timeline for this development.

A 50% removal of subsidy is a good solution but not a complete one as this still encourages the alleged corruption taking place in the subsidy system and as well mounts more continuous debt.

The good point of Tinubu's subsidy policy is that, it halts the demand for further loans, diverting intended subsidy payments to infrastructural development.

This way, the country funds development instead and in the future, development refunds all loans taken.

If this is done properly, then the idea will become feasible.

In the issue of security, a logical analysis explains the constraint of tackling insecurity:. Imagine trying to use a can of insecticide to repel the pests in a region without harming the innocent members of the community
. That's how difficult it is in reality to get rid of terrorists in 4 years, 8 years or even 15 years. It's like a surgical operation that requires precision and patience. If there's a better way to defeat terrorism, maybe one can be re-educated.
