my happiness is the beating Rohr collected , not his team ... you will think Rohr doesn't talk ,but he talks too much. we have to keep him quiet.

Bassey is not a calm defender…I would go for ndah or old balogun ahead of bassey…anytime any day
Old Balogun ke? I did not read this in your CV oo. Be like you will call Ighalo and Vicmo and maybe Okocha when you are appointed. I don dey fear ooo. Yori yori is not about recycling old players oo. I think you should be considering players like Ogbu not Balogun.

Eguavoen has sealed his legacy as one of the best managers to ever come from Nigeria, he has been in the game for long and has never cowered when called up to steady the ship. The man has been vilified so much because he's the quiet and modest type but his coaching records are actually very impressive based on winning ratio.

My ranking of Nigeria's best coaches will be:

Keshi
Eguavoen
Samson Siasia.

Hmmmm. Shaibu Amodu...He hardly lose but his team ain't winning with big margins..

Your problem like some mumu fanboys is that, they want you to accept everything about a player just because you’re their fan and any constructive criticism will be deemed as hate. Of course, I like starboy and he is my 2nd fave after look man but when he mess up, I will constructively criticize and when he performs, I will praise him

The first goal made me to remember Victor Moses..

Very true. They play very similarly.

I wasn’t surprised with those stats when you factor in what we played in the first half the eagles have not been that sharp in a long while with fast recovery runs and progression it was so lovely to the eyes, hope our tiki taka fans here were impressed.

For the midfield am not sure any eagles coach will want to sacrifice any of our upfront players to add to the midfield. Our strength is still upfront but perhaps as the game wind down then I think your suggestion should be considered

We will be sacrificing one man in defense not attack to add to the midfield... 4-3-3, 4-3-2-1... for me, I think 3-5-2 will work better for us..Osimhen and Lookman upfront... we can also switch to 3 up front as might be required

i don't think so

what is the difference between what benin played today and what we were playing throughout the 2022 wcq?

suddenly where did you keep Victor Moses ... no doubt he plays very well ... but let him grow into the super eagles team completely

If Lookman wins APOTY he will dwarf victor moses, the only thing that makes Vicmo better is he winning afcon which Lookman almost won earlier this year. Lookman touches on the ball is class, he has no business still playing for Atalanta but for bad belle things.

I want to believe because of the short time Eguavoen decided to go with a system already familiar with the players, he’s not a 3 at the back coach

I agree..... he isnt a 3 man defense kind of coach, but he is definitely a 2 man midfield coach..
well, a 2 man midfield will work better if one of Onyeka or Onyedika partners Ndidi... they are both workaholic midfielders... then u get more ball playing centrebacks....

I was happy with Bruno performance today. Did anyone notice he was not even invited in the last two games.
Haba Finidi! and he has been the assistant coach to Jose pedro. He didnt know that this guy was good.

And the player that play left back in the last two games was taminiu.

Is a shame. What did finidi learn from peserro, Nothing.

This is what I said about Finidi then not continuing from where we stopped at Afcon, Eguavoen just borrow sense and tweaked things a bit from the Afcon pattern of play

If we win next game, which excuse will NFF have to hire a foreign coach?

Congratulations to the Super Eagles and Nigerian team for the win. It was nice seeing us playing in a more offensive fashion but there is still a lot of work on the way.

Moffi and Awoniyi are better than him abeg.

It is very clear the. Coach, Austin Eguavoen needs more time with the team to get them to sync with his philosophy and I hope by the next game we see some improvements from what we saw today.
