idanone:Long overdue. A minister has aids. The office will not only give jobs to some few people, it will also attract projects by the ministry to the state thereby creating more jobs. 1 Like |

Must it be about political godfatherism. If they didn't contribute to the presidents ambition shouldn't the ministerial position be filled? |

He has the highest number of ministers in the history of Nigeria(almost 50), yet some states don't still have replacement after their exit... |

I'm from plateau and the truth about the ministerial slot is that APC has a serious problem within themselves in the state. Infact their members are just decamping anyhow. If it were the PDP that would present a candidate, they would have done so since. But Tinubu would not aassign a PDP member that position. 3 Likes |

The same idiots who constantly complain about the cost of governance are the ones now bleating about a ridiculous constitutional requirement mandating a minister from every state! If you were all serious about wanting less costly government, you'd be demanding that the number of ministers be slashed to 1/3 or less of the number there are now, instead of making the preposterous claim that the lack of a minister from one state means the state is somehow "not represented" in the government. Isn't that what senators and house members are for? 2 Likes |

Political Jobbers All those making noise about this either want the position for themselves or want the privilege of recommending who will be appointed to that position. Such an appointment is of no significance in this government. It won't improve the economy or reduce the plight of Pharaoh Tinubu on the masses |

Political vendetta. These states mostly voted against tinubu and all he does since he came to power is to wage war against those that didn't vote for him. |

What difference does it make...all the ministers they are not even performing well...they are also the cause of the poverty, hunger, hardship nigerians are going through now...they are just there to loot and embezzle money and enrich themselves |
Re: Rumblings In Plateau, Cross River Over Vacant Ministerial Slots by thesolutions(m): 12:24pm On Sep 08 |
idanone:unfortunately, That is him. He had his own plans. But he had aids from the state that were paid by the government at least. That is one good thing. His selfish ambition should not be used to judge others. Let what is due to others be given to them. What they do with it is really the president's business. This is why the president needs to get capable hands and not just dishing out appointments as favours |
