Eguavoen too needs to go all out when it matters most and it will be difficult to sack him. The game is all about results especially the crucial ones, yesterday match was crucial and he won. The next game he should try not to lose at worst get a draw many will not raise eyebrows but if loses then the cycle starts all over again. It’s all about results, even if it’s haram soccer get the damn results and keep your job.

AE is the technical director of the NFF , at worst he will go back to his position , but i want him to succeed , his success means allot to all of us ..

Abi. His place isn't assured
YUSUF just need polishing

I was shocked when he signed for an MLS team
I wonder who gives him advise

Well if he gets to play regularly in the US he should be invited

He has a good ball recovery rate and can be nurtured

E dey drag Pepe jersey with Moses Simon....Simpu.

Jokes apart. When a coach comes in and starts to disrupt the status quo by leaving out a standing captain and talking with a highly passive demeanor. All of that reeks of a coach who isn't sure of what he wants to do

Bashiru? When Bashiru enter? How many minutes did Bashiru and Ndidi play together before Ndidi was subbed off? I'm not sure they even played up to 10 minutes together before Ndidi called to be subbed. Bashiru had nothing to do with Ndidi's exhaustion.
Bashiru came in at the 63rd minute and Ndidi left the pitch at the 80th minute.

Baba as it stands now him no suppose near the national team again because of the emergence of better midfielders wey we never cap self

The likes of Uche(Getafe), Akin(Sampdoria) and Ojediran(RC Lens) should be given a chance abeg

Baba u sabi watch ball. Bashiru’s focus was to attack when he was suppose to sit deep to help in protecting the midfield and defense against the opponent who were pushing for an equalizer

That was the main reason Ndidi gassed easily and was complaining which made AE to instruct Bashiru to drop deeper

Even I faulted AE for bringing in Bashiru instead of an Onyeka when the team was trying to defend a lead. We all didn’t notice that error because the team won comfortably

Bashiru is an all attacking midfielder and the best would have been maybe to push him to the flanks yesterday if we lacked better personnels in that area of the pitch or on the bench.

Iwobi is more tidy with the ball and understands that CM role than Bashiru.
Thank you. Ndidi became isolated when Iwobi was substituted. Even Frank the tank may not be able to cope alone in midfield.

That's one part of the equation. What was the time lag between when Bashiru came in and when Ndidi called to be subbed?

Soon that midfield will be a battle ground for the best legs.

He should keep it simple and flow. I think he attempts to do too many things with the ball at once. His legs aren't too quick to interpret what his brain thinks.

Sometimes good managers are made by excellent/quality assistants. AE I believe understands his strengths and weaknesses which I believe his assistants will help him cover.

To Eguavoen's credit I think he has the respect and trust of his players so he just has to improve more on his in-match reading of the game especially when plan B doesn't work out.

Bench cam kept showing how Daniel refused to rest on the tactical aspect of the game. Im glad AE was cooperative and a listener.

Can they go digital with the tactical books too? Tabs should be what they use by now, not files and papers abeg. Lol.

NFF better get all these necessary grounds covered in next appointment. Don't get someone that the players feel they can match up to in ego. The only kind are the Alonsos, Julians, and Artetas where they're trusted to do whatever they want with the squad to a large extent, no matter how talented a player may be.

Infact, one would have thought these kind of coaches were in the past tense of Nigerian football since 2002. But 20years later and we still have such kind of managers. They are watching things but never understanding things. Set awon Bendel Insurance manager. The talking that ought to be their last defense line sef, they sound more arrogant and clueless than smart. Ontop all that JPes affiliation and nothing learnt? Not even in player management? Naaaahhhhh.

The average Nigerian local coach comes with that mindset of upsetting the status quo without a well thought out and cooked plan in place to make such be less of a distraction. The exception are the good ones.

If pecking order exists, he should be outside that order, alongside Finidi. Two both of them.

Finidi lost it when he tried re-inventing the wheel. He was the assistant to Peseiro at Afcon where the team played the final using the 3 - 5- 3 formation. Instead of sticking to what the players were used to considering how short the time was, he decided to go fishing in deep waters. He come hook.

And then this issue of putting home based.
players.

These are the mistakes he made.
After being an assistant to peseiro, he still came up with 'formation doesn’t matter', just only if the players stay where dy need to stay and do what they need to do. How will they stay or do what without formation.

See his lineup, rubbish. Substitution is very amateurish. You start asking yourself what is this guy trying to achieve with this sub.
