Roofing carcass materials of this main building costed about 2.55m. That includes the wood as follows 2x3x12, 2x4x12, 2x4x18, 2x6x12 and 2x2x12, Soligum and nails.

Delivery will commence tomorrow morning...

The supplier is my regular supplier in the south east for over 5yrs, moreover i have the roofing measurements from drawing and paid ahead up front.

Even if there is +or- we always have a way to balance things out because there are more works we are still doing with him with respect to the project. Roof Gutter and Doors alike, he deals on those too and we are still gonna be using him.

The supplier is my regular supplier in the south east for over 5yrs, moreover i have the roofing measurements from drawing and paid ahead up front.

Is the supplier close to Enugu? If so, I may need his services for step tiles next month if his rate is comparatively ok.

He covers the entire south east.
I have a project here as far back as 2020/2021 that he covered as well. The thread is here. It's a project I did in Calabar. I can share you his contact reach out to me on WhatsApp. You can compare his prices with others around there at your own time.

Note: Compare quality as well when you do because that is what makes the difference.

And again, he uses his staff for installation. He doesn't allow any other person to install because he has warranty and follow up on his products.

We are making serious progress.
By tomorrow, we should be done with the Duplex while the gate house commences.

Floor decking is supposed to be at barest minimum 6 inches for the load of that. Wetin I dey see so?

Is a qualified Civil Engineer supervising this at all?

Load calculation is obviously not done.

May God cover the future occupants of this building.

Personally I don't like to thread words with people on my private page. But I will not warn you again. If you dare write nonsense here again. You wouldn't like my comment.

For the record and for the purpose of the amazing followers that have followed us fie years. You can't see us do anything less than 150mm thick reinforced slab which is 6 inches minimum. In fact, somethings we cast a bit more to 160 - 175mm reinforced slab.

If we can do that for a small security house. Talk more of Duplex.
