It could, if IRCC had not contacted the school for verification before it was withdrawn.

Please help
Conestoga college revoked my admission while visa is processing because of delay in submitting stidy permit documents to them.

I have applied for deferral but not yet processed
Will this affect my study permit application?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 4:13am On Sep 10
We don’t know the details about your application but since the VO refused your application for insufficient, there may be unexplainable lump sums, or the VO was not convinced about the relationship and sponsorship, if you used a sponsor. A VO can refuse an application for insufficient funds, even if the balance is enough to cover the cost of education if;
1. there is a large deposit with no reasonable explanation, and the account's history is inconsistent with such a deposit.
2. The account was opened recently
3. A corporate account with poor cash flow. Also, failure to show the sponsor is the sole owner of the business and has access to the account.
4. Unconvincing sources of the income
This list is not exhaustive. Review the bank statement for the aforementioned and see how you can address them.

Good evening everyone, my application was denied today , how do I go about it ?? I mean how do I re-apply

Time will tell. They are targeting specific industries and occupations.

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 4:19am On Sep 10
It will not affect you if you resume next year and attend the same school. Ensure your visa is valid at the time of your intended entry.
You cannot change your program.
febishola20:

About this, my application was eventually approved last week but school had already cancelled my admission, I contacted them to ask if they can re-activate my application they said no that I have to apply again, the next available intake for the program is September of next year, I just want to know if this would not affect me at the POE if I opt to resume next year and also can I apply for another course for the January intake ( it’s also related to my course of study) I need urgent reply please everyone

Hello sir, they were two large deposits in my sponsor's account, I explained them with land documents my sponsor sold to get the money, my sponsor has 50,881,739 in the account, is that not enough? How do I address this issue?? , please what do I do? Please how do I get gcms note and how long will it take to get it
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by morganchimex: 7:03am On Sep 10
Just bear in my mind that any deferral beyond one academic semester (150 Days) requires a new visa application irrespective of the school, so starting new year September is unlikely to work with your current visa

I'll start of with congrats. Thank God you got the study visa. I'll advise you to quickly reply again and once you get the LOA and new PAL, send it to IRCC via webform.

Thank you for your response, I read through other people’s reply and some said my visa won’t be valid by the stated time as I have already deferred for more than 150days(1 academic year) and I’d have to reapply.. this is an awful situation to be in, after all the waiting and all. I’m thinking of sending a heartfelt message to the school if they can reconsider... does anyone think this can work?

Omo, does this mean this study permit is gone
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by kelvinyung12(m): 9:42am On Sep 10
Jeboy:
Yes of course.

His monthly inflow as salary will justify the funds accumulated in the last four months while the land sale will justify the latest lump sum.

That's how I used my PoF for my spouse and she's in her 2nd year of study in Canada now.

The land sale lump sum came in 3 days before I applied.

Wow thank you for the clarification sir
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by kelvinyung12(m): 9:56am On Sep 10
Ok good morning house
My question is about proof of funds also

My friend intends moving with his wife to canada
The new POF says 26k cad for both of them

He intends paying aleast one semester schools fee as he is going for a 1 year masters program

Some people say aside the 26k POF in his account he must have the complete one year tuition in his account also

Is this true ?

Or with just paying 1 semester fee and having 26k cad in his account is enough to get approved .

Thansk for your response

I read in this forum that you will need to include the biometrics slip in your transmission package, if you are using the vfs center used for biometrics. Otherwise you will pay for transmission package.

Please which one is biometrics slip, I don't remember collecting any slip after my biometrics except the documents I went with, which include appointment letter, biometrics letter from IRCC and my passport.

Yes. A month ago on OJC telegram group, a lady applied for reconsideration after two rejections and she got it.
samuelgodson:
Good afternoon everyone, trust you all are having a good day.
I would love to know if anyone has or heard of someone who has applied for reconsideration of a decision on an application that was submitted and rejected with all loopholes covered, lump sums explained, strong family ties, proof of business registration and existence of the business (pictorial and government records) several proofs of business activities, tax certificate submitted, school fees paid in full, POF of 81.3 million naira and 4 landed properties was also uses.

The refusal was based on assets and financial situations.
Province applied for was Ontario.

When did you apply for deferment? I deferred 14 days before classes was supposed to start. Exactly a week later, they approved my deferment and I was given a new LOA and Receipt.

Thanks for the reply. If my deferral approve, how will i update it to ircc? And do i need to send a mail to ircc at this point?

Good afternoon! I'm looking for universities in Canada (around Toronto or BC) that offer cybersecurity/information security programs. I came across Simon Fraser University and Ontario Tech University online. Could you please help me rate these schools or suggest other universities in the area?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 3:32pm On Sep 10
Your sponsor has enough funds, but is he a close relative? If the answer is no, why would a third party sell his property to sponsor you? If you are going for a two or more years program, how does the sponsor take care of the subsequent years? These are some of the questions you should review, but the GCMS note states the exact reason. The average processing time for gcms notes is 30 days.

I beg to differ! Japan has the 3rd largest economy in the world just behind USA and China, Japan is among the top 10 countries for the best education in the world, above Canada. As a student you work for 28hrs/week. And unlike Canada, it’s not expensive to live there, you spend way less for more value than you can get in Canada and need I say that they also have the best cuisines? With masters in Japan, you can easily transition to the US via PHD.

MarksmanD:
Lol 😂 I don't know anything about Japan other than their women are refusing to get married and have children, they have a weak currency and their dwindling population. I'll prefer Canada because it is a multicultural society than Japan which isn't very diverse.

150 days rule does not apply to you..you are not in canada and you do not have study permit yet. ..
