It could, if IRCC had not contacted the school for verification before it was withdrawn. Essential01: |

We don’t know the details about your application but since the VO refused your application for insufficient, there may be unexplainable lump sums, or the VO was not convinced about the relationship and sponsorship, if you used a sponsor. A VO can refuse an application for insufficient funds, even if the balance is enough to cover the cost of education if; 1. there is a large deposit with no reasonable explanation, and the account's history is inconsistent with such a deposit. 2. The account was opened recently 3. A corporate account with poor cash flow. Also, failure to show the sponsor is the sole owner of the business and has access to the account. 4. Unconvincing sources of the income This list is not exhaustive. Review the bank statement for the aforementioned and see how you can address them. Tobby76: |

It will not affect you if you resume next year and attend the same school. Ensure your visa is valid at the time of your intended entry. You cannot change your program. febishola20: 1 Like |

Just bear in my mind that any deferral beyond one academic semester (150 Days) requires a new visa application irrespective of the school, so starting new year September is unlikely to work with your current visa febishola20: |

I'll start of with congrats. Thank God you got the study visa. I'll advise you to quickly reply again and once you get the LOA and new PAL, send it to IRCC via webform. febishola20: 1 Like |

bullstriker:Thank you for your response, I read through other people’s reply and some said my visa won’t be valid by the stated time as I have already deferred for more than 150days(1 academic year) and I’d have to reapply.. this is an awful situation to be in, after all the waiting and all. I’m thinking of sending a heartfelt message to the school if they can reconsider... does anyone think this can work? |

Ok good morning house My question is about proof of funds also My friend intends moving with his wife to canada The new POF says 26k cad for both of them He intends paying aleast one semester schools fee as he is going for a 1 year masters program Some people say aside the 26k POF in his account he must have the complete one year tuition in his account also Is this true ? Or with just paying 1 semester fee and having 26k cad in his account is enough to get approved . Thansk for your response |

I read in this forum that you will need to include the biometrics slip in your transmission package, if you are using the vfs center used for biometrics. Otherwise you will pay for transmission package. Please which one is biometrics slip, I don't remember collecting any slip after my biometrics except the documents I went with, which include appointment letter, biometrics letter from IRCC and my passport. |

Good afternoon! I'm looking for universities in Canada (around Toronto or BC) that offer cybersecurity/information security programs. I came across Simon Fraser University and Ontario Tech University online. Could you please help me rate these schools or suggest other universities in the area? |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 23 by bullstriker: 3:32pm On Sep 10 |
Your sponsor has enough funds, but is he a close relative? If the answer is no, why would a third party sell his property to sponsor you? If you are going for a two or more years program, how does the sponsor take care of the subsequent years? These are some of the questions you should review, but the GCMS note states the exact reason. The average processing time for gcms notes is 30 days. Tobby76: |

I beg to differ! Japan has the 3rd largest economy in the world just behind USA and China, Japan is among the top 10 countries for the best education in the world, above Canada. As a student you work for 28hrs/week. And unlike Canada, it’s not expensive to live there, you spend way less for more value than you can get in Canada and need I say that they also have the best cuisines? With masters in Japan, you can easily transition to the US via PHD. MarksmanD: 1 Like |
