CAF needs to be serious and compel all stadia should have VAF . Nigeria should be leading now if not for the disallowed goal

First time I am watching Dele Bashiru play and I am not impressed one bit. Iwobi is much better

Iwobi looks better with the ball and also tactical forward movements. However, Dele offers those but I have been impressed with his contributions in reading spaces and defending them. He looks tactically trained. Kudos to Manchester City for that.

He has been outmuscle many times. Iwobi is equally weak but has he has adapted to this team. They are both incompetent midfielders. I don't see anything special about Dele Bashiru.
Someone like Ejuke r Gift Orban fits better in that position

Dele Bashiru should be on the ball more and hold the midfield down but he has been very poor...getting outmuscled , losing passes and struggling to hold the ball. Below average at best

This Rwandan pitch na very fertile land to plant weed. See how ball no dey gree roll for ground.

Boniface gets his chances but failing to nib it. He doesn't deserve further invitation in my opinion.

Ndidi seems regressing. He ain't solid on the ball anymore and quickly gassing out.

2 changes are so far needed, Onyedika for Ndidi and Osimhen for Boniface. I wouldn't mind to sub off Aina cos he is on yellow but can Tanimu do the job?!

But
1. Why was that goal cancelled? Offside? Foul?
2. Why pushing the captain when he merely wants to protect his teammate?
Na where CAF dey carry these refs from?

Our midfield setup looks scanty and the coaching team need to work on rearranging the playing pattern.

The players look overworked in the system and rely a lot on their personal qualities to scale through. We need more offensive combination plays.

Thanks bro, na work I suppose dey do so I no fit watch am well. And I think besides that pass, Chuks has been a bit quiet. We need to convert our chances sha, Bruno has had a couple of opportunities and there is no way Luku's goal should have been disallowed, criminal in my opinion.

From just one game? What is your talent?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2023, 2025 And 2026 World Cup by junnyjake(m): 3:02pm
This is all down to the coach.

There's something Eguaveon has that neither Peseiro nor Finidi has, and that is charisma, that is leadership.

With Finidi, the players were refusing to report to camp on time. They were passing the ball round without purpose.

Hope we all can now see how apparent it is as the SE are now moving the LP progressively with intent.

AE should keep the job.

I really don't get it at times. You watch the game live, yet dropping gibberish online. Dele was more involved in the game than Ndidi, yet its Dele they wanna cook.

Overall, they did well as a Team in this half, we were just unlicky to be 3 goals up.

That Moroccan Ref should better give a better second half than the nonsense he blew in that first half of Football.

Nigeria are deserving of a 1-0 lead at least but Mr Sabry has other ideas.

Them they find midfielder make wan they throway through passes like KDB. They are not looking and seeing other parts of his game and contributions. The guy was seen all over the field, even going back to defend, what Ndidi should be doing

I agree with you but don't you think it was the way the Rwandans came out so early that disrupted their set up a bit? Not sure the Eagles expected that from the opposition

Not good enough to overlook his fumbles. Besides, if you are looking for one touch kind of player Iwobi is the man. Dele Bashiru is not cerebral in that midfield. The boy is being overhyped abeg

Fisayo na baller abeg...
The difference between Fisayo and Iwobi is that the latter is somewhat cautious. Also, Fisayo uses his physicality so we'll.

The young man has been every where in the pictch, defending and attaching, so its normal for him to get tired towards the end of the first half.

Despite the scoreline, this is the best first half of SE in many years.
It was intense. After the first ten minutes of their initial gra gra, we pegged them back.

Let match finish first make nigerians head to CAF Twitter page. I don't like that we are not decisive when going forward. Let's see 2nd half

Yes, the pressure by Rwanda unsettled the SE now think of what will happen when you play Argentina. We still don't have a midfielder, period.
