Seplat pumped an average 48,000 bbl per day in 2023. And should increase by completion of ExxonMobil purchase.
I don't think oando pumps that much.
Mind you ExxonMobil deal and Anor (transformational) has project have been factored into seplat current price

The Minister is the nation's chief due diligence officer on petroleum with all the official inside info as to crude oil reserves and where they're located. He wouldn't be charging Oando to strive towards 100,000 bpd if he didn't know that they're sitting on the assets to do it simply by ramping up operations.
But even Seplat itself wants to rise higher in price but for the constraints of market rule.

Re-capitalizing the FBNQuest Merchant Bank with N50bn may not be the best considering the less than 5% profit made from the merchant bank.
They need to focus on the FirstBank recapitalization whilst making huge profit from the sales of the Merchant Bank.
This is just my opinion.
I also believe it is a good move.

Looks like TRANSPOWER will establish a support level at M300 unless we have sudden cross trades of 100k at lower levels.

I think it is best to sell off Japaul Gold and observe how things goes. The management just capitalized on the current share growth to dump over ₦20billion worth of shares. Japaul is diluted right now and I suspect massive selloff this week.

Still in my early days in chart reading, however if you look at the chart, you will notice that sellers and buyers have been slugging it out at around that 2.5naira since late August. And the last time it got to that price was around February of this year. Some of those guys may just be trying to recover their cash which may explain why the sellers are holding the price down.

If it does manage to get past that junction, there will be another struggle at around 3.2 naira. From my rudimentary knowledge of charts, if it does break that one, that forms a new upward swing with no market structure to hinder it.

Good analysis!

This is actually a smart move. I have always wondered why more companies in Nigeria don't do this.

The one that really comes to mind is OandO. They can raise a ton of money through dilution and it amazes me they haven't done it yet. Aren't they riddled with massive debt? Dilution could potentially wipe their slate clean. There has to be more as to why this hasn't happened yet

I am getting a little confused. Is dilution the same thing as dumping?

Oando is already targeting 100,000 barrels per day by 2025 (going by interviews by senior officers and releases)
Their current production is around 40,000 barrels per day

The factoring of the ExxonMobil deal into Seplat's current price may be deceptive. The price will surely rise when the deal is complete and announced officially.
Oando is a good reminder, the price rose sharply after the official announcement of the completion of the ENI deal
Remove your eyes fron target, focus more on actual. If I post seplat target here, e go shock you.
