Sorry about that, try and show other source of income. my first UK visa was approved when my salary was 136,000 but i had ties- family and assets, plus business am doing. Is not about salary alone, you should also be able to show other source of income.

Seems like I wasn't good enough 😕 😔

@Ashirioluwa@Cornoak@Cashmadam where did I got it wrong or any suggestion on what can I do differently when submitting another application?

The letter clearly stated the reason why your visa was refused.

The main issue was your income. You planned to use almost half of your yearly income for a 5-day trip. I don't think any rational person will believe that your story.

It's not a rule, but the advice here on nairaland is that visa applicants should make sure that their trip expenses are not more than their 2 to 3 monthly salary.

Another factor is your home ties.

2 or 3 monthly salary? Ah

I put 4m total expenses for a month stay (accomodation is sorted so not included). My monthly is around 1.3m averagely. shocked

Would this be enough?

Good morning everyone. I wanted to quickly ask if it's compulsory to pay for a flexi appointment for me and my baby or can I go ahead and choose two separate times close to each other for both of us? For instance, choose 11am and 11:30am instead of paying for flexi times 2.

Hello everyone

Please, I just received a DHL notification that my passport is on it's way to the address i indicated for delivery. I didn't receive any email from TLS contact or UKVI. Biometrics was done on August 26. What do you think, from experience? Visitors visa category. Lagos Ikeja application centre.

I don't think you need an emergency date for UK visa as there are plenty of dates available, emergency date is only for US visa.

I just booked my appointment yesterday and I was able to find a free time on the day I wanted and for self service too, although when I checked last week, the date I wanted did not have any free slots. So, I think you can just keep checking over and over and free dates and time slots will come up. That's what I did though. Hope this helps.

Good day Cashmadam and others,

My Uk visa expires in 2months, kindly confirm if I can re-apply for another UK visa while I have a valid Uk visa.

Thank you.

Cashmadam:

It would have been nice if you can use your saving account in addition to the other documents you have.

Your husband will be your ties to Nigeria. Please ensure you fill the visa form carefully and include your marriage certificate, your husband's passport data page and all relevant documents of your employment.

Good luck!

Hello everyone. Trust you are well.
Please can anyone help with the detailed process of applying for a schengen airport transit visa for a klm trip to the UK, with a stopover at Amsterdam?
I understand that the process is now with the French embassy but the process is quite unclear? Are you to apply for an atv from France? Or just via the French consulate? Please can anyone who has done this recently give any advice?
Thank you

Yes you can. I believe the start date of the new visa will be after the expiry date of your current visa. To the best of my knowledge, there is no provision for "overlapping visas"

I hope this helps.
