I’m so glad seeing him adapt to the CM position

He really impressed me with general play and understanding with Ndidi

I believe Dele Bashiru working with Onyedika would be amazing. The way Bashiru thinks, needs a midfielder that can think and move for us to get the best of Dele.

Either way, Dele Bashiru sold himself to me today. I can call myself a fan of his.

Give him 5 years of he will surpass Rohr. And I mean this not only for AE but other local coaches that can manage players well, and be fair in player selection. I’m just saying we rate the likes of JP too highly.

I am fully for Eguavoen even if he loses some matches. We must quit this magic mentality like children. Senegal gave their coach time. It paid off. If it's Nigeria, once you fail, they remove you.

another thing I mostly love about him is his player selection/invitation

Not among other crooks who looks for an excuse to smuggle in undeserving NPFL players to the team. He tend to give any player doing well in Europe’s top leagues a chance

With better build up plays, we would be a devastating side to any team that faces us. We would play with more control and the players will have room to be more effective.

I saw your predicted lineup but I prefer we stick with 3 at the back for now. 3 - 5 - 2 formation will be ok. Both Mola and Osi Upfront while trio of Iwobi, Dele and Onyedika lockup the midfield.

Check how many shots on target & how many saves . Even if we won 1-0 the GK deserve his flowers

I don't think so. Chippa and Galaxy are similar mid table teams. You are just in love with the saves you saw on YouTube and even called him a Kaizer Chiefs player when he hasn't even played one game yet.

Lad is now in a bigger team than Nwabali in the PSL. Pray that he gets games.

I no send dey guy o,I just talk wetin I see for Twitter clips as for Game time he will surely get if he keeps up with today's performance.

Heck, if the Rwandan team can build from the back repeatedly, what is Austin Eguavoen's excuse?

You can't tell me Ndah, Ekong, Ajayi or Calvin Bassey have not been coached to play tactical build up plays. So what is this excuse for the repeated fruitless long balls.
We don't play only that tiki taka pressure inviting play from the back. They played from the back. They also looped some balls. All join.

To insist that they must always play from the back is to be predictable and boring.

In yori yori we mix things up. Not one way method without variety.

Play from the back was what Nwabali tried to do and that puts our defenders under pressure.

So sometimes we need to play from the back, sometimes we need the long balls. All join.

Omo we missed too many chances o! Did Paul Kagame use style to warn our boys not to embarass his national team at home under military observations cause those misses were baffling. That Rwandan GK played like he had a warrant on his head- like a man possessed.

I like this team under Eguaveon, we create more through superb attacking play, and our defence looks rock solid as well. I think NFF will do well to keep him and support him at this point. We just need to call up few more strikers (Orban, Akpom etc) to help Osimhen, cause I don't think any of our strikers are clinical in goal apart from Osimhen.

The way we are set up make us miss on our offensive strength. We use three at the back because we are rushing the ball out. If we have more control and deny the opposition chances with the ball, we won't need three.

It is also shocking with three central defenders, we can't knock the ball out of the defence.

Let us hold the ball more and build more attacks for our forwards.

When are we ever gonna watch a MOTM performance from SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE playing for the SE?
I really think he should be dropped from the SE for the main time. Let him go and improve at AC Milan. Defensively, attacking, that nigga adds nothing to the SE matches.
He's terrible and gives bang average performances. His best activity on the pitch is jumping on the goalscorers like as if he did anything to the end product. It is time he sits down on the bench. We need a new winger.

....not yet bro, a step at a time. Yes we played well hence I don't understand why some folks are bitter with the match result. We are simply unlucky.

There is no need to look for a blame, AE did well tactically.
Them want 3-0 again. Trust me, once he loses one match, they will cry blood that he should be relieved from the job.

I've never seen a nation that loves magic and miracle success than Nigeria. That's why using religion to scam them works very well.

Bro....the 3 at the back ain't no way a weakness to attacking, fluid football cos they are joining the attack. Both Bassey and Semi did joining the attack.

Calm down bro, ball ain't toy. Toying around with balls means nothing. How many attempt on targets they got?! Tactically we were superior, the game plan was ok.
They need to play tiki taka.

Reading it slowly only reveals how poor your take is.

I mean, Goke7 posted how many shots SE had in the game. We had 9 and Ntwari had 9 saves. Saying if he was too good he'd have made one more save is not it abeg

So the fluidity of these team is affected when Iwobi doesn't play? Yet he is the most criticized by fans. Whether game was physical or not, if he played, he will offer more for the front 3 than anyone else. I dunno about Nacho sha. What happened? undecided

I wholeheartedly agree. The only snag with local coaches is the issue of favoritism and they seem to be haunted by this idea of fielding NPFL players.

See how Finidi was trapped in the marsh of selecting NPFL players. It distorts selection.

Joining the attack but not with patterned build up plays or transitioning of the ball. That is the problem.

I enjoyed the game today.

Very interesting match. I'm sure President Paul kagame enjoyed it too.

They will come to God'swill Akpabio too and this time their President won't follow them.
