Nigerians. Their cry is always gimme gimme gimme. No patience, no faith.

Walahi if I were the one in charge, Eguavoen would have continued after failing to qualify us for the WC. Yes. Success is a process that involves failure. We want to succeed, we don't want to fail. But you cannot succeed, without failing.

Jpes was losing matches, drawing matches. We allow am. He took us to AFCON finals. If it's our own, two match with bad results, they start crying sack sack sack.

I hope we get it right this time after all NFF said they no get money for foreign coaches so leave AE for now, he seems to understand our Afcon success and how to build on it, That's what I am liking in him now

Not even a conspiracy theory but I feel the main reason the referee disallowed that legit goal Ademola scored was because Kagame was present at the stadium, you don't want to get on the bad side of a "dictator" even if he's a calm and friendly one.

You want tiki-taka, but AE prefers wing play. Pls allow the man to breathe, stats are their to prove he gets it right.
Tiki-taka would have won us this game.
We should not always relay on wing play.

Lesotho and Rwanda dey the WCq group with us. Dey play.
Yes you're right. The site I checked didn't display the full table thereby hiding Rwanda from the list until when I clicked where it wrote "click to view more" and I saw Rwanda on top

Seems poor maintenance culture is wide across Africa. Even the well touted Rwanda can't maintain a stadium they refurbished and open in freaking JULY.

grin any team in Africa that wants to beat the Eagles must always play them on a bad pitch, they know your Europe-based players are at their best on great pitches, watch out when we go SA, they go carry us go another yeye stadium or pitch. I remember an SA analyst in one of our past matches with them advised their FA to take the Eagles to a bumpy pitch to destabilise the European-based Eagles as they are more used to better pitches. He mentioned it on a live TV program so these things are very intentional

you mean we can't qualify for Afcon? As for WCQ I hope you know it's not totally in our hands, there is no other magic any new coach be it local or foreign can do now. If we can't qualify for Afcon then the players are the problem, not the coach.

I love long balls, but they should be to space. The keyword is to space. If you are sending the ball long to a tight area, it is careless play and creates more work for the receiver.

Most of our long balls were not to areas in space. This is due to poor buildups and transitions.
Nwabili is guilty of that. always launching the ball to a marked osimen

Today, AE-Equaveon and his coaching team showed the importance of experience playing across the continent. You need runners in your midfield, not an Iwobi in a two-man midfield during a hot 2 p.m. match in Kigali.

Wow! We had a good goal canceled, hit the crossbar, forced several world-class save from their goalkeeper, and at no point was our goalkeeper in danger.

Congratulations, Nigeria! We're headed to AFCON and the World Cup!
What a team! What a coaching crew! See you next month.

AE just needs to bring in Ojediran and Uche for the box-to-box Iwobi role, and we'll be ready to take on any team in the world!

The game looks physical because Eguavoen setup the team in that manner. It is easy to play rough when the team is playing in an individual way.

If we are moving more without holding on the ball and transitioning smoothly, it would be harder to escape with rough tackles.

Toh..

We can’t beat Rwanda
What makes you confident we’d do that next time in World Cup qualifiers
You know our position on the log ?
South Africa, Rwanda & Benin are ahead of us
That pitch appeared patchy & bad
