FYI the children of Legal permanent residents prior to 2012 or 2015 I believe were granted citizenship because of the permanent status of their parents. Your xenophobic Home affairs DG and Minister ran to the courts to stop this and the courts ruled per articles in the constitution at that time that citizenship of the child should follow that of their parents until they reach the age of Majority at which if they choose could apply for South African citizenship .

He is correct. You only need to search the immigration act which you can access on the Home affairs website. Children born in South Africa can only become citizens by birth to both or one SA parent or by descent if born outside South Africa.

There are laws that allow the acquisition of South African citizenship for children born to non south africans in South Africa provided they meet certain regulations.

Many African countries have not been given the space to evolve what sort of unique political/economic system that would fit or be suitable given the peculiarities of African culture as opposed to Western civilizations

Rich in resources necessary for capitalist exploitation by Western democracies and the interference especially by advanced neo liberal capitalist societies has crippled its ability to introspect and choose what works for it.

Taking Nigeria cultural peculiarities as an example, the Igbo lean more towards affinities to capitalist ideologies as against The Fulani or Hausa who would benefit from a more socialist economic system attuned to their religious and cultural traditions.
