As much as I am careful when replying women on this platform for reasons of how that gender responds to the honest point I have made doesn't mean I won't say anything about it. I did not generalize my point. It was specific The new entrants I am talking to should actually speak for themselves not some persons acting as their spokespersons 5 Likes 1 Share |

godlyguy: How on earth you could decide which shareholders of what stocks are sincere, less sincere or more sincere from the comfort of your laptop/phone, probably hundreds and thousands of miles away from the shareholders, beats my imagination! This forum is for NGX Market Pick Alerts! It is NOT for gauging the level of sincerity of shareholders! So let us help ourselves by releasing the stocks that we believe or know can help us all to make money. If you do not like my choice of stocks, just ignore, and say your own choice. None of us can be said to be sincere or insincere because we have various perceptions of the stocks we choose. Investing is a risk-laden business and we all know it. What we all need are alerts on stocks that can make us achieve good returns; that is what you and I should focus on, not just ringing alarm bells on the stocks we do not like! 9 Likes |

mikeapollo: Oando isn't the only stocks as MH but the insincerity while promoting it has to have a balance As for talking you already know I will continue where and whenever necessary on oando and other stocks that are being MH until the management prove to start doing the needful not just media noise 2 Likes |

godlyguy: It is not about Oando. I am talking generally! What you call MH (media hype; hope my interpretation is correct), could be a strategic info to someone else! It depends on the level of appreciation or significance or relevance that you attach to such info. For instance, someone has given me an insight info about Unity Bank, and I believe it to be a strategic one that I can use to invest now. But another person would not believe in such info and would rather wait for Unity Bank to release their results before he/she buys the stocks. . Both of us are neither perfectly right nor wrong! It is just a matter of difference in strategy and approach. You may call it media hype, if you wish. But if it works for me, so be it. The end justifies the means. 2 Likes |

nosa2: Don't worry, banks and all stocks will rally at Christmas and new year However, it seems you are using the same valuation lens for banks as for other blue chips in other sectors. You should discount by at least 50% because of 1) inherent risk and CBN pronouncements and 2) Dividend plays a heavy role in pricing banks. With all these profits, shouldn't GTCO and Zenith be paying N10 dividend? Do you think they will pay up to that by year end? If not, getting any price near 100 may be dreamland. 5 Likes |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Sunrisepebble: 12:35pm On Sep 12 |
For those that want to enter Aradel this late and at this expensive price, let me add a caveat emptor. A PE firm that holds significant portion wants to exit on the NGX, so buyer beware. Don’t come and compare yourselves to us that have gained 100%+ already 7 Likes 1 Share |

chimex38: Perhaps due to no indigenous writing we don't have, "preserved records" of how the things we achieved came to be. Like the gold works in Ghana that the British took away as it was state of the art back then. Or the Benin bronze works that the British also took. And many other things that are of African origin like immunization that the West got from an African immigrant in America centuries ago. |

Agbalowomeri:why should you even be expecting 10 dividend from any bank.So anything from #4 to #5 will not be good to you at this present price of thr stock. You too get big eye..lol |

mosh2035:They should make sure they buy back 20B leaving only 18B from the excess money they pay the ceo abi na MD.The guy is just adding value to his pocket at the expense of we shareholders. The stock is supposed to be in the range of nem insurance by now. Then do share reconstruction to bring down the 18B to 9B to create real value for all |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Streetinvestor2: 1:05pm On Sep 12 |
Agbalowomeri:Leave 200 for now or soon.I am talking of 4/5 dividend going forward. Do you still expect gtb to come down if this dividend is achieved and maintained. I believe 80 -100 is possible 200 go really take time for this market unless the banks buy oil well too and political push follow |

Agbalowomeri: He is conservative enough with his valuation. GT and Zenith should not be selling at less than N150 upon all the adjustments both of them will still have a return on equity of 25% yet their book value per is over N100. Both of them have increased their dividend by over 400% in the last 14 years and have never had cause to reduce their dividends from 70k to the current N4.00. I expect a dividend of N5.00 for the current business with a minimum dividend growth of 10% going forward 6 Likes 1 Share |
