Who is attacking you?? You mean people can no longer relocate abroad without selling their properties It's not everybody who relocated abroad sold their properties so I don't understand this much emphasis on selling your properties. So, you don't talk to me like that. If you sold your properties to travel abroad or if you are contemplating on selling them you should understand that it's not everyone that will sell property to japa.

You are the one that start the unknown destination mentality which have ruin many people life and investment with poor japa mentality,.Earlier this year, I was denied a Canadian visa but later obtained a UK visa and traveled there. In hindsight, I’m grateful I didn’t sell my property before leaving. During my visit, I came face-to-face with the realities of going abroad on the wrong visa. Many people, especially those on student or visitor visas, are struggling. Some friends I thought were thriving abroad on UK student visas are actually facing severe hardship. Their visas have expired, and the cost of living is extremely high.
After my time in the UK, I returned to Nigeria, and I’m constantly reminded of the dangers of selling off assets and venturing into the unknown. Just last week, a friend in Canada reached out, asking for help to cover his wife’s school fees, despite the general belief that life in Canada is ideal. The truth is, without the right skills or work opportunities, many are left frustrated, living a lower standard of life after investing millions into the move.

As I go about my daily life here, I pray never to be in a situation where desperation leads me into the unknown. May God guide my path wisely!

Will****keep***reposting****** till I get answer.

Hi beautiful people, please I have a question and I will appreciate every possible answers from gentle minds with helpful answers. A friend applied through an agent, the application was denied. But my question now is, if someone want to reapply in the future, what happens to the email the agent used for the previous application and the ircc account created by the agent that this person cannot access by logging into it. If this person want to reapply in the future, will the person have to register afresh on the ircc portal, and using another email, phone no etc.,hope it won't cause any problem for the new application having know he applied before using different ircc login and email. Thanks in advance and I hope my question is clear enough to get good response.

Good morning, So from my personal experience someone will advise on if I am right or wrong, i do not think you will have any problems applying again because some people get to change agents and use another agent who will then use his email to apply. What I think is most important is that you know your UCI number because you will need to quote that in your next application so the officer can see your visa application history and why you were refused. The problem is that the agents often do not give you the UCI number, so the person has to go back to that particular agent for reapplication. Never reapply without your UCI number, you cannot have two. I hope this helps, if anybody has anything to add they would. Thanks

Thanks so so much and good morning, I appreciate this awesome piece of response and it put my mind at rest even for the person I'm seeking the information for. Yes, she does have the UCI number and application number as well. A very appreciative mind sends her sincere regards. Merci

When an IRCC Canadian Visa officer minutes "Review Required (pending verification)" on Eligibility Assessment for an applicant, it means that the officer needs to verify certain information or documents before making a decision on the application. This could include:

1. Verifying the authenticity of documents, such as education credentials or police certificates.

2. Confirming information with external sources, like employers or educational institutions.

3. Assessing additional documentation submitted by the applicant.

4. Conducting background checks or security screenings.

The Junior Visa officer will review the application and verify the necessary information before proceeding with the eligibility assessment. Once the verification is complete, the Junior Visa officer will update the status and make an update on the application.

This status indicates that the application is still under review and requires additional verification before moving forward. It's essential to wait for the officer's request for additional documentation or information, if required, to support the application.
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Jeboy(m): 2:22pm On Sep 12
When an IRCC Canadian Visa officer minutes change from "Review Required" to "Recommend Interview" on Eligibility Assessment for an applicant, it implies that:

1. The officer has completed the initial review and verification process.

2. The application has passed the initial assessment, but the officer needs more information or clarification.

3. An interview is necessary to assess the applicant's eligibility, credibility, or intentions.

"Recommend Interview" suggests that the officer wants to:

1. Clarify inconsistencies or discrepancies in the application.

2. Assess the applicant's language proficiency or communication skills.

3. Evaluate the applicant's intentions, motivations, or plans.

4. Verify information or documents through questioning.

5. Make a more informed decision about the application.

This change in status indicates that the application is moving forward, but requires an interview to gather more information from a Senior VO or Case Analyst that will take decisions. It's essential to prepare for the interview by:

1. Reviewing the application and supporting documents.

2. Preparing to address potential concerns or issues.

3. Gathering additional documentation, if necessary.

4. Ensuring language proficiency and communication skills are adequate.

The interview (most times waived) and the material fact he is able to deduce will help the Senior VO to make a final decision on the application.

Hey,
One important thing to keep in mind is that the details in the new application must match the previous one, so you need details the previous agent used. e.g agent said you are a director in ABC company, in new application you can’t be a clerk in XYZ. That’s misrepresentation.
Or the more popular one, agent said she’s married with a kid for home ties….you can’t be single without a child in the new application.
So it’s not just about UCI or creating new login details the information and documents need to match the old application. So she may need to follow up with the agent or request GCMS.

I totally agree this is really very important, i think it is best you request a GCMS note as advised above and then you will see details of what the agent submitted and you can act on that.

thanks a lot for the additional information

A Global Case Management System (GCMS) Note, is an information file that can be requested by applicants for temporary residence (visitor visas, study permits, work permits) or permanent residence (Express Entry, Provincial Nomination Program, Family Sponsorship etc.).
Don't mind me, grin, I copied that from Google, but speaking in my own terms, it's the information that was submitted in someone's visa application, perhaps it was an agent that applied for someone or even someone by him/herself, and that application was denied, the person can request for the gcms note to know the full details regarding the refusal/denial. And there are other things I think it can be used for, not only for refusal information alone, it can also be used to check an ongoing application as I've read here etc. I really don't know much, I might be a little bit right but someone will definitely buttress on the point for you. Cheers

Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by spiritismisreal: 10:26am On Sep 13
hi poster, I know some people have said to you that no more asylum that they have shot the door, the other person said don't do it that Canada is not the kind of country to seek asylum, its either they are scaring you away from it or they don't want you to go that route because it is difficult, and the truth is it is difficult, but not impossible, I will explain everything to you.

first of you need a valid visa to apply for a refugee status inside canada, you can not apply for it outside canada, keep in mind refugee is 100 percent legal and canada will never stop accepting refugee, so you need a visa first,

if you are in canada you can apply at the port of entry or inside canada at the IRB office, now to apply for a refugee status you need to tell your story while you are fleeing your country, why your country its no longer safe for you. keep in mind you need a genuin story to tell.

and let me remind you assylum is 50 50 its either you win or loss, if you win your case fine and good you will be a canada permanent resident but if you loss, you have the chance to fill for appeal, which in most cases will end in loss, except you have abundance of grace, but if you loss again, you have the final and last chance which is the humanitarian ground, that one there is 70 percent chance of approval.( speak to an immigration attoney for better understanding.) and before you start your refugee journey speak to a lawyer about you case, there are so many immigration lawyer on youtube you can contact. so my dear canada is still accepting assylum and will continue to accept it, as long as you have a visa that can take you to canada or walk from a neigbouring country to canada border. my last word it is not an easy route but not impossible. if you are the struggling type in 9ja and have canada visa with luck, will you rather continue suffering in 9ja or go face the difficult assylum path. but if you are well to do and can afford sch or you are well learned and qualify for express entry, please dont think of assylum, but if you are the i never chop type in nigeria and your chi make you to have canada visa, i dont need to tell you what to do.

This is the first time you have given a better explanation of asylum compared to your former approach, where you denied that asylum is causing current visa denials for Nigerians. There has been a more than 700% increase in Nigerians applying for asylum. You explained part of the truth about asylum, but what you failed to point out is that the asylum system 5 or 7 years ago, probably when you applied, is not the same now. With the election coming next year, it is going to become even harder. You can also see in the news that even the provinces do not want to accept more asylum seekers, as Quebec and Ontario are complaining about the burden on the system. Canada will not stop asylum applications, but will make it harder for countries with a higher ratio of asylum seekers, and Nigeria is one of them.

On humanitarian grounds you pointed even before you get to that level you will have spend a good money which legal aid will not pay , consider how many of the current asylum seekers who arrived in Canada in the last year are officially working and contributing to the economy, rather than staying in hotels and receiving government support. This adds another layer of complexity, showing that there will be more challenges ahead regarding the humanitarian ground consideration aspect. Personally ,l will not tell anybody to claim asylum or not claim asylum but be rest assure it not an easy path that is based on how you are creative on your falsehood but your action will will also hurt innocent applicant from Nigeria as the rejection rate are higher now .

thank GOD we are both understand each other now, and you are correct I came to Canada and sought asylum 6 years ago and things have changed over time, the truth is not everyone can afford to school in Canada and not everyone will qualify for express entry I was suffering in Nigeria when I lost my job I rarely feed my self and family, but I already apply for the visa which have forgotten then the agent called me when I was going for a driving job interview that my visa is approved. even the flight money I borrowed it. but today I was lucky to be a Canadian citizen, it is not an easy journey, and this is why I always say to leave people to do what they want regardless of the outcome. i know number of calls I receive every day for help back home, the situation in Nigeria presently is also driving some of us crazy because of the billing from family members people a practically suffering, will I tell someone suffering in Nigeria, who narrowly get Canada, US, or UK visit visa not to japa with it. all fingers are not equal. my Indian colleague brought all his family members to Canada on tourist visa, because they can not afford schooling in fact some of them didn't even understand good English, and they are living fine, they practically escaped poverty as I escape it myself. so my brother just allow people do what they want, my own is I will tell them refugee journey is not an easy journey. and its a japa journey for the poor.

this is the statistic of nigerians that sought for asylum from January to june 2024

9377 claims
847 approved
310 denied
33 abandoned case

pending cases 15016

no doubt more will be rejected and more will be approved, if you are lucky to get your visa, and you are the type begging people in the diaspora from one help to the other, better go chop aduro, at least make you survive first. abi you want to continue suffering in Nigeria?

I try to discourage people from seeking asylum because it’s 50/50, in the case it doesn’t work after filing for JR at the federal court what happens?
High rate of asylum seekers from the part of the world has led to reduced approval rates for visas even for those with very genuine intentions. I don’t like it when people cross a bridge and you break it so those coming behind can’t cross the same bridge.
The asylum system has been abused and even students who qualify for express entry are vying to apply for asylum without seeking information of better pathways to permanent residency.

44 withdraw

I respect your decision to claim asylum, but bringing God into it is using religion as manipulation. Your asylum claim, like many others, is based on fake documents, lies, and deception at the tribunal hearing. The God I know, and the same God you follow in your holy book, never teaches you to forge documents to gain favor or pretend to be something you're not, like claiming to be homosexual. While it is your choice to fake asylum to become a Canadian citizen, let's stop disrespecting God by attributing any success to Him or to grace, especially if it was obtained through deception. God is holy and pure and would never support lies or deception. Again, it's your choice to do right or wrong, as God gave all men free will, but faking documents and lying to gain asylum is not of God just like sucess from a robbery operation cannot be attributed to God!

you are not GOD and you dont have any right to judge anyone base on their decision, you are not a saint either, everyone in this group no one is a saint, you can only justify your claim if you enter Canada with express entry program, because if you enter with a student visa, definitely you most have tell one or two lies to get your visa, people claim they will go back to their country after schooling, we all know its a lie, people claim they have 100m for pof we know its a lie, there is no big lie or small lie. like I say asylum its for the poor ones like me, and I took the path to be a better person in life, if I was still in nigeria I will may be an hopeless company driver, but today am a scrum master in one of the it firm in Canada, everybody tell lies including your pastor in nigeria, your government tell lies, even canada government are liar, I tell a lie to better my life and am loving it here in Canada, I will not stop on till all my family enter this country, will you rather prefer me suffering in Nigeria than telling a liar to live a better life. leave people make them live their life. except you want to pretend that your family members have not been disturbing you with calls for help, people are basically suffering and you are talking about lie I always tell people do not condemn another person if you haven't been in their shoe even you Mr orjohn just keep thanking GOD for your life, it is only person who hasn't really suffer will be saying what you are saying, pray make your family no suffer hardship then you go no how far, that's when you will know telling a lie for a better life is better than carrying a gun to rob.
