Hello, I've tried that repeatedly to no avail and i can also confirm that my information was correct each time. I think there's a lag/error on the server's end that's not making me receive the application number. Is there anything else I can do?
Send mail to centralinfo@noun.edu.ng and copy same to noumis@noun.edu.ng

Attach your Remita receipt. You should get a feeding less than 24hrs.

For mine, I did that "Hanging payment" option and saw the application number just at the top of the page. There was no actual email or SMS sent per se.

Admission form submitted and provisional admission letter issued with instructions to go to the study centre for screening.

Pls is this physical screening on a rolling basis or they have a start date for it?
Wouldn't want to be off work and end up getting the typical phrase "Come tomorrow".

Pls can anyone here give update on Port Harcourt study centre, if this screening is currently going on?

When is this current admission session expected to start?
And the transcript, what's the official email to send it to and what's the best time? After screening?

It is what you can do same day. It should not take time if they are not technical hitches from the portal. Make photocopies of your docs and go with the originals as well as passport photos. It should not take more than 20mins without technical issues.

My provisional admission letter reads 2024/2 session

Please does this current academic calendar apply to me..like taking TMAs in the next 2-3 weeks, writing exams in October etc
Does PG and UG run on the same calendar?

What are the implications if I decide to wait for next year to start my studies?
See me thinking my admission is for the new session next year.

Re: National Open University Of Nigeria (NOUN) Students by Enskynelson(m): 1:39pm On Sep 12
Yes, the current semester the second semester of 2024 hence 2024/2. Note that this does not translate into you being in second semester of your programme. In NOUN students begin their studies every semester and that implies that you while you are in your first semester, some students are in their second semester.

Both UG and PG use same academic calendar. YEs, that is the current approved calendar although still subject to change due to some challenges with the current registration portal.

If you however feel the time is short to study and prepare for exams, you can as well hold on with your registration till next semester which will begin by late December/January. That will have no effect on your programme aside delaying your graduation by a semester.

Thank you for your response
Would have been nice to start fast but it's better to just wait as this short notice will put a lot of pressure on me + full time work.
I'd just print out the coursewares and start reading shaa

Another question pls
I want to process my transcript now...using the email option.
Pls what's NOUN's official email to add as recipient?
I believe they should accept e-transcript sent directly from my school.

Pls add me to any NOUN PG telegram or WhatsApp group...just to stay informed..my number is below
Or you can share the link..thank you

Check your email for Application ID.
Go to the portal and go to the admission area. Use RETURN TO APPLICATION FORM.
Enter the ID and reset the password. Then come back to the page to continue. With the application ID and password to login.

I funded the e-wallet from my bank, to register for courses for second semester, it was successful and the remitta receipt was sent to the student's email but on the school website it didn't direct me straight to the page where I'll continue the process. The money I paid for is not yet reflecting in the e-wallet. Please what should be done?

Login and go to the Bursary menu, the sub menu has a place to credit payment. You will be required to enter the RRR or Order ID and proceed. You will be redirect to a receipt of payment. Do that and you will see the money in your wallet. If you don't see it the first time, try it a second time.

What if one has tried the RRR and order Id countless time and it's still showing transaction pending... what do I do? Because I've sent a mail with my RRR to the noun bursary email I found on their site, I've not gotten a reply yet and the transfer is over 5hrs now...

There's no option seen to input the RRR

If you are using desktop, reduce your window size to either tablet or mobile. You will see the option there. It is an error that is on the current portal.
