If Tinubu does just one term, which is very improbable, it'll not be due to a so called karma, but due to northern influences wanting the North back in power. Be smart.

Who told you his was illegal? If you have a plot of land that you visit twice a year ... on returning you find someone has built a house on it ... what would you do? .... activate the empathy gene in your body? It is people like you that allow people to build on waterways but when the community becomes flooded you be making the most noise and condemning whoever is the President.
So the stranger house demolished by Lagos were illegal but your brothers house demolished in Abuja was legal? People like you should not be anywhere close to power. You are too clanish. As the proverb goes "when an unknown person's corpse is carried, it looks like a bundle of firewood"

So because he supported Lagos demolition, which he explained is to prevent flooding, he deserves a similar fate even when in his case, he did everything right?

The biggest problem in this Country is the lack of quality education that led to a lack of deductive reasoning. Many of the young population lack the ability to judge matters without being emotional.

He did the right thing?
How are you sure he did the right thing?
What if he's rearing Chickens in a designated residential area?
Even if the others did wrong must he gloat over it?

You are judging others for jumping to conclusions, the same exact thing he did on others?

This is nothing to gloat or laugh about. Demolition of one's property, no matter the reason, can be painful.

He should not have blindly supported the Lagos State government in its Demolition of properties because some of those people might also have followed the needed regulations.

The only time I support full and scathing condemnation is when the government fails in its duties to the people.

I was quite okay living in city Nigeria with the chaos. I'm at heart a futurist but am quite ok with a developing Nigeria. But this isn't the case with majority of Nigerianjs. Nigerians won't stop shouting about electricity, and housing, and hospitals, and clean roads , and how Nigeria isn't like Abroad. I couldn't even be with Nigerians without them whining about underdevelopment, cussing our ancestors, bellyaching bitterly to the gods for making them Nigerians. They will complain for living in - according to them - this Shithole instead of wonderful Abroad. You cant go on social media and be happy because some Nigerian will be there cussing Nigeria, abusing our forefathers and bitterly hating everything and everyone. They will not overlook any way or anything that can be used to mock Nigeria. Good news will be sneered at. Bad news would be made to seem it can only happen in Nigeria. We became Zoogerians. No country anywhere in the world is allowed to be worst than Nigeria. All because of Nigeria not being like Abroad.

Well, the state governors want to provide abroad for Nigerians, beginning with trying to order Nigeria towns and cities, by ploughing down Shanty settlements, sharks, unplanned structures and buildings. Tax is yet to be introduced meaningfully yet people want sympathy.

What's up with stranger house and brother house? Is it about the owner? ...or about the house? The demolition has to do with the house... legal...it stays ...illegal...it is demolished. But this you can see only if you can take off your tribal glasses ...but I doubt it. People like you are too clanish ... the ones that cannot function outside their village or clan ... the ones that fight for visa ...travel abroad and cannot adapt or integrate then be begging the FG to fly you back home to your village. I see your type every day. You have a free forum here to learn how to socialize with strangers ... worldwide .... and what do you do? ...use it to reinforce your 1700s village mentality.

You are the highest fool I have ever seen. In the case of Lagos many people presented their Certificate of Occupancy, signed and approved by the govt.
Wait for Wike's version/response! The danger of a single story. People are condemning him because he lacked empathy! In the face of sorrow and agony he was jubilating and congratulating the govt, even Wahab did express empathy.

This is exactly the problem with Nigerians. They are the most selfish and dishonest people on the face of this earth. They will always support and promote EVIL until it affects them personally. Was he NOT the same person who supported the destruction of other people's properties in Lagos probably because his hatred for the victims would NOT let him see beyond his nose? Now that he has become a victim of his own HATE, he wants the world to come and rally for his cause. As they say, "Karma is a biatch!" He needs to accept the fact that the HATE he breeds is the same HATE that he gets and should deal with it like the victims in Lagos.

Nobody should jubilate in the face of other people’s agony. In Nigeria, everybody knows that these fake certificates are everywhere. Even the people getting them often know that what they are getting is fake and still go for them because of convenience. Even if they didn’t know, there are channels to air their grievances.
They bought houses blocking canals and needed someone to tell them that it was wrong? At what point do they take responsibility for their own mistake?

Should we because of these few people allow thousands to die due to flood? Wouldn’t you still blame the government, if another flooding occurs in the state?

Most of you just want to be anti-government for the sake of it.

Think abeg, think!

Wahab during one of his interview at Arise TV confirmed that these certificates are genuine. They bought land and they were approved by govt. Certificate of occupancy is issued by govt. Before they build these houses the govt approved the plan & surveyed it. The same govt approved it. Or have you not seen houses marked submit plan? Don't push the blame to the masses.

Tbh, I am hearing of this for the first time. I truly empathise with them. They should be well compensated. They can bring up a class action against the government if this is truly the case.

Still, are there other ways to stop the flooding without the demolition?. I know it must have been difficult for them.

However, in the interest of all, the demolition was jjustified.

Throwback:

How did he support wickedness?

He supported that people should not be allowed to block water channels for the benefit of everyone.

And in his own lamentations, he cited that he did his due diligence about the property that was destroyed despite having the right documents and not illegally obstructing anything of benefit to the general public.

So I ask again, how is a sensible Nigerian like that supporting wickedness?

Lol
So He was sure the people who's houses were demolished ALL did not have papers abi.
Several affected persons stated they had all property documentation.
Let's just say his own property was also infringing on way of Balablu making Naija great again and had to be cleared for the benefit of the general public. Let him be sensible and accept it jare.
Bye Bye

Did he have all the facts, before congratulating the Lagos state government on a job well done?
Did he for a minute sit to reflect on the fate of those whose investments had just been bulldozed?
Nobody owes him a duty to show empathy, the same way he never extended it to others.
