People have different stories, there are people still getting jobs, there are still many people making it through study visa in Canada

If them like let them increase it to £5000, people go still travel. If I lie to you, visit British Council office in portharcourt and other states, you'll be shock the number of students writing IELT exam.

Typical example. Last 2 years, our lastborn registeresd IELT exam at 94k and travelled. Last year I registered same exam 246k. It was increased twice last year people still registered for it. So people must Japa.

Its a big gamble that is no longer guaranteed PR. Its better to learn French and get permanent residency.

Studying in UK doesn't seem attractive anymore.

Two of my friends got admission but the POF, visa and everything choked them and they had to abandon it.

However, people will still Japa. Lol.

For some that are already settled in the UK, they use the study route to bring over their younger ones (especially their younger sisters), to help out in child care, outside their study hours.

What was it before?

I hate that country sha! They are good at surviving as a people and as a nation, by reaping where they did not sow.

First it was through colonialism by pillaging our lands and resources, now it is through exorbitant visa fees, relocation fees and tuition fees from migrants and international students to keep their economy afloat.

Remove immigrants and international students
from UK and watch it collapse like a pack of cards. The other day I received an email from the British Council's recruitment team titled "career purge."

What they meant to say was career page, I shook my head and thought to myself, this is the body conducting IELTS exams for folks like me to enter their country. Tufiakwa, make I bend if I ever take that nonsense exams for the sake of migrating to UK, temporarily or permanently.

It depends on what you studied. Those who studied management courses are struggling to get jobs everywhere in the world. The only place where Jobs are somewhat guaranteed is the United States. The problem is that getting US visa is hard.
