Sunrisepebble: This is my problem with this investemnt thread being on Nairaland. Because it is not a dedicated investment forum a lot of important posts get lost with the banter. I am mulling the idea of starting a dedicated investment community 8 Likes |

Those who followed me when I was hawking Aradel @ #4-5k, congratulations, you should have made 100%+. The quickest and easiest money I’ve made in my life. This is just 1 phase out of 3 that I foresee. Today was the last day of trading, as redenomination will commence tomorrow and shares should be tradeable on Monday at #490 using today’s closing price. Phase 2 of the second rally, is the 3 week window where it’ll trade at the split price and Phase 3 when it comes to NGX in October. Note: I do have some valuation concerns around the stock now, considering it is trading at the same market cap as Seplat which is a bigger company in terms of production and reserves, although Aradel has a different business model also operating in the midstream space. Due to my concerns, I have sold down my initial principal at todays high and hoping to Jijo with the profit in Phase 2 and 3. 5 Likes |

Lol....@emmanuelewumi & @BabsO2 yet again. U guys remind me of Football fans with their affiliation for different clubs and their supposed healthy rivalry amongst them. Somehow, likeness for some players cut across these club affiliations. These players defend their clubs where necessary according to rules of the game with little-or-no--> purposeful rough tackles, field insults n fights, media banters, mischievous attack, indirect comments and mind games. Yet still cheerfully relate with same opposition clubs/fans because in the end, it's just a game.. These players win the hearts of about 95% of many soccer fans across club-lines effortlessly despite such players being in opposition/rivalry clubs.. They have also proven to be good in their position of play as well. -Ronaldo(Delima) -Beckham -Vanpersie -Ronaldinho -Markelele -T. Henry -Zidane -Kante -Pirlo -etc (there could be others) 1 Like |

As someone as said previously here before, what is overvalued to me, may be undervalued to the rest of the investors and the world. Hoping this is the case Sunrisepebble: |

emmanuelewumi: You're seeing a quagmire. Uche is seeing his goldmine. Why else is he scheming to take the company private, away from the prying eyes of the public? To go and drown alone in debt? Uche knows the problems of his company more than anybody else. He also knows the secrets. He is the ultimate insider, and he wants to take the company private. Manie we know as a master forensic investment analyst. But Godlyguy looks like one of Uche's desperate agents to help scare minorities away for ease of delisting. We're not falling for it. 1 Like |

emmanuelewumi: From 20,000bpd to confirmed 40,000bpd in few days after taking over, with projections for 100,000bpd by December this year. Uche may have had a rough past but an objective evaluation of Uche's future shows promises of good fortune. 3 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 5:23pm On Sep 17 |
GeeKudi: Cash is real but earning is an opinion. There is usually a 70% probability that forecast will go wrong. Uche can't just come out of his negative net asset and negative working capital by virtue of the purported increase in revenue. In fact to harness the opportunities he will go deeper in debt. It is not all growth that leads to profitability and it is not all profitability that creates wealth, it is not all wealth that is sustainable. It is when the tide is over that we will know those that are swimming naked. 6 Likes 3 Shares |

emmanuelewumi: Not used to calculating free cash flow. I understand the concept. Look at the cashflow statement. Oando had a neat positive FCF in 2023 unaudited of N105 billion. Please can those used to FCF calculations please cross-check.

presiade: Sitting on a $280b mountain of cash, said to be only half of his company's portfolio size, and refusing his loved one a humble request of $40,000 tied to a specific need, suggesting it's not a habitual pestering for money......... Here is what a miser looks like, both in Africa and in America. At 80+ what much time left does he have to share love? 1 Like |

emmanuelewumi: The 20k to 40k is no longer in the realm of projection. The revenue from selling MW to the national grid is no longer in the realm of projection. The fact that Uche is a favored son (nothing wrong with this, we all wish to be) is not a projection. Why do you want to permanently tie Uche down to his past and not accord him any chance of survival at all? 1 Like |

GeeKudi: How does MW relate to Uche. Uche sells phones and computers at Ikeja. And you are talking about MW He is still having arguments with his auditors, accountants and tax professionals about 2023 financial reports, you are talking of 2024. I met Uche at the club last weekend , he even bought drinks for me, he confessed things are looking up , but no be how you dey paint am 2 Likes |

yMcy56: Morgan will not have the figure updated in your portfolio but it's existing in your portfolio already. What do I mean.? If you have existing 5 units in your portfolio and you are expecting 2 units of bonus. Morgan will not update your portfolio to 7 units. But if you place 7 units for sale, it will go through. 1 Like 1 Share |

I expected this response. We can call him all sorts of names, but he has a philosophy which has brought him [and kept him] at the 'top'. I have read extensively about WBs children and he did not just start last year. May I also add that he's not the only one towing that path zendi: 5 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by emmanuelewumi(m): 6:12pm On Sep 17 |
BabsO2: What is free with a negative equity that is greater than that, negative working capital that is greater than that. Infact there is no basis for the calculation of Return on Equity because equity is less than zero, it is negative over N200 billion. No basis for the calculation of Return on Invested Capital 1 Like |

Sunrisepebble:Concerning review upwards, I think the stocks valuation will be carried out by the experts in that field...... They can't just pick one figure or base the valuation on only the share price(s). Many factors will be considered........FMN and the subsidiary(ies) to be involved, book value, etc. The gurus here used to assist with such valuation and direction in the past........but not anymore these days. For those that may want to rush in at any available market price, try and put this in mind. We needed to see the official arrangements and docs to be able to have a clear direction..... *My amateur opinion* 1 Like |
