[sup][/sup] giselle237: Money market is available for within 24 hours. I also stated that all funds in the money market account are available in 24 hrs after a request is made. I also stated why I use a money market fund. I can’t leave overnight in a cash account attracting zero interest. The sum of savings over years. My earnings are high enough to gather as I attached a total compensation statement. I attached the statement of N6.3m plus money market. |

chloride6:The availability of money in a money market account is not sufficient for you to determine if it meets the requirements. For travel funds to be considered, they must be "palpable funds," as the visitor has no recourse to public funds. If you intended to use them to demonstrate ties, that is acceptable. As per investments or assets. However, if the funds are not in liquid form, the Entry Clearance Officer (ECO) cannot accept them as "available" funds for travel purposes. Simply stating something does not make it a fact or law. For instance, I can say Kamala Harris or Donald Trump are my siblings. … without presenting valid evidence, such as birth certificates, does that make it true? No! Similarly, claiming to have $100 billion without proving its origin will not be considered credible by the ECO. The refusal letter clearly mentions the need to demonstrate how the funds were acquired. You did not attach evidence of how these funds were accumulated, which is crucial. Bank statements alone and writing cover letters are insufficient without supporting documents. Your wife’s disposable income is 90,000 naira indicating that you are expected to cover the entire travel sum as the sponsor. She said her travel will cost £3500 and she has it not. 90k disposable income shows she is a flight risk… so everything fell onto you as the sponsor. You the sponsor provided bank statements but failed to include crucial supporting documents such as employment letters, promotion letters, payslips, staff ID, or an introduction letter. These documents are necessary to show how the funds were accrued and their ORIGIN which is the most important. If you are unable to liquidate the money market funds, you can take your chances and consider requesting a well-worded and officially stamped letter from the organization. This letter should detail the account and explicitly state that the funds can be made available within less than 24 hours. |

giselle237: Employment letters, promotion letters, payslips, staff ID, or an introduction letter. Lol, I attached all of these and more. I even transferred out of the same salary account this year April and I highlighted the same in my cover letter showing that the funds came from me! I’m awaiting my decision sha even though I did biometric before her. If I get it using the same documents, then I’ll know that the UKVI guys are simply morons who didn’t take their time to read through. |

Good Morning NL, After finally getting my ATAS Certificate from the UK (required for Msc in Engineering courses), my application went as follows; -Submitted Student Visa application 21st August 2024 -Did my Biometrics 27th August 2024 -Received an email on the 29th August 2024 that my application is not straightforward and that they will be unable to decide on my application within customer service targets -Received an email on the 30th August 2024 inviting me for a virtual interview scheduled for 10th September 2024. -Attended the virtual interview and answered all the questions appropriately in line with my application. The major challenge for me is that school resumed 16th September 2024 and the deadline for me to enrol is 23rd September 2024. As of today, I am yet to receive an email for the UK home office. Could we please advise on how i can proceed? Thanks!! |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 10:32am On Sep 18 |
Ajayghalee: Reach out to your school immediately and inform them you are still waiting for your visa. Request for an exceptional approval for the deadline to be extended. Then reach out to UKVI and escalate your issue. Do not buy your ticket till you get the visa Good luck! |

Good morning guy, I'm considering relocating to the UK through a study route (Masters) and plan to apply for the May intake. I would appreciate information on universities that accept students with tuition fees below £4,000, as well as any available scholarship opportunities. Pls treat as urgent! 1 Like |

Good afternoon nairaland. Please a quick question. For tlc documents upload, is it better to print bank statement inside the bank and scan it to upload, or is it okay to just upload a bank statement sent to your email from your bank app? Thanks |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Kenelekan: 2:29pm On Sep 18 |
Email bank statements are not accepted….. you have to go to the bank and asked for a printed out bank statement, stamped Letsmeet: |

Cashmadam:Thank you Cashmadam, i appreciate your input. I really value it. Now, what i've been hearing now is that i can not apply for another msc since it is not showing a higher progression from my current MSC. I was told i can only obtain a MBA or PHD and not another masters |
