Hello Nigerians.
I don't like living with anyone . I like living , Staying All Alone . I don't just don't know the reason for this.
I feel Uncomfortable Having anyone living with me .
Right now , I have My Family in another House , I stay Alone in another House .
I would visit them , Check there Books , Joke, Play with them and leave to the second house a bit distant where I stay .
I Love Cooking , Washing doing all things by myself .
For Example if anyone Visit Me , After Some Few Hours , I will start feeling uncomfortable that he should just leave.
There is this Comforts, Peace and security that Radiates in my mind whenever someone stays with me.
There was a time , A woman was calling me a Ghost because for 2 years no one ever visit me.
Pls. I don't understand this . Does this feelings has a medical Name ?

Me too Really  Honestly, Associating , Having Friends , Going to Parties , Clubs Cathing Fun etc I don't , If I wanna catch Fun , Just me Alone Quietly walks into a Bar , Or eatery me alone. I do Charity to the Poor though so not Stingy There was one Particular Bar I do go , I don't take drinks with High Alcohol though just like Smirnoff, Not a Fan of Beer too. Maybe yours is a bit in the extreme, but I function a bit like you but mine is that I socialize and interact with people but I love my Alone time! For example, I don't like sharing room or personal space .. just to ease up and open up a bit... 2 Likes |

Is anyone having this kind of Feelings too The fact that you created a topic about it is where the problem is. It means that's not who you really are but you might be dealing with some psychological issues, maybe childhood trauma or some sorta pain. I'd suggest you seek a professional help. I also love being alone and by myself that when I was living in a rented apartment, I barely even say hi to my neighbours, and I've never bothered about it, because that way of life is just so normal to me like I'm drinking a cup of water. |

You are right. Making a fuss out of it means something is wrong somewhere tho that I can't reallysay. If it was his True nature, they wouldn't be any need for bringing up the issue.
Personally, I am like that too. I have just one friend who we haven't seen in 3 years. I prefer being alone most of the time though I socialize a little but always create an alone time to recharge. I can't count how many times I've spent the whole day in my room, not stepping outside the compound or even my gate.
I haven't taken a picture In years now, I haven't chatted or made a single post on my Facebook or WhatsApp for years now and I chat just my far away friend. I don't call people except my parents and siblings and people don't call me too.
In all these, I have no regrets and I don't even see it as an issue cos like you said, it's normal like drinking water. I just wake up, live my life and work hard for a better future. Anyone who is not comfortable or complaining, it's always your business cos I no send you at all.
My dad initially started having issues because of this lifestyle but I didn't even care to spend energy arguing or explaining anything to him till he got the memo and left me be.
I've been alone my whole life so I don't even care what anyone thinks about me, I do what makes me happy and put myself first.

You're not alone. But I think yours is more than mine.  The only persons I can comfortably live with is a wife or someone (a peer) that respects others' feelings and we share a lot in common. I guess I can also live with anyone that I won't feel miserable in their company and that I trust to an extent, but only my mum seems to fit that description for now. I find it hard to sleep away from my little place because I won't feel comfortable. I'd even prefer staying in a hotel or guest house than sleep over at most people's places. 1 Like |
