@hunee @africankel ,
Are there people who applied recently and got their visas in record time 2/3 weeks .
Which platform did you use?
I need to adjudge which has been fastest recently.

Thank you

If it’s from 1 year to 2 years. You don’t need return ticket but less than 1 year or 1 year on the dot. You need return ticket

Yes, others I have checked are above 1m

Use TAAG or Air cofedvoire or Ugandan airline. They are more budget friendly around 400-500k

Good day All.

Please is it a must that round trip flight ticket be booked for Postdoc study lasting two years?

I booked my one-way flight trip today since I would be staying till July 2026 in SA. I was given multiple entry visitor's visa till July 31 2026.

Need clarification please🙏

When did you apply ? What VFS office did you submit? Whats the timeline please

Unless it changed recently, yes you can submit another application on DHA portal while your visa is still active. I've had to do it for someone before.

Please how much is E-visa and what documents will I need to gather for the upload?

Thanks

Congratulations. 2 questions please. 1. Is there a need to book appointment before going for submission?
2. Can one use a hotel reservation from booking.com or other third party providers.

@hunee @africankel @Zoey1

Please guys, I need your input as I am trying to visit SA next month (first time) and I want to consider using the E-visa option but I have been seeing 2 different websites one is taking me directly to the DHA webpage while the second one is taking me to VFS page.

Which one is faster and real (Incase one is no longer relevant)?

How much does an E-visa cost for a visiting visa?

How long does it take before I can have their feedback?

Thanks in anticipation. You trio and others are doing a fantastic job 💪
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 1:31pm On Sep 18
Both sites are genuine.
VFS $87 and more
E DHA $23 / $24
Both have recently been between 7days to 3 weeks.

Please can you give me current email address of dha evisa to contact apart from hacc@dha.gov.za
Please hunee
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Zoey1: 3:30pm On Sep 18
That’s most likely the only one that can guarantee response.
Most of the others already blocked unknown emails.
It won’t get to them, not all though but even the others may not reply.

Even quit wasting time mailing the home affairs. They are a rigid body and very opposite to change. You know the South African systeme are a bit kinda slow(personal opinion, sometimes they are fast, so you need understand the system to quit sending mails.

They will attend to you at their convenience.

It's visitors visa

Bros, help us with the documents you used to get a 2 year long term visitors visa.

Those of us that have even frequent Sa, we hadn't got this kind of opportunity.

Its exhausting and not cheap applying for visas every 3 /3 months.

Kindly assist us with the documents you used and if you have previously been out of Nigeria. Could it be a bonus.

Please share and hopefully someone applies for longer term through Abuja.

Also tell us how much was paid for the entire process.

Thanks
