I think if we divide the price it was listed on NGX by 5, we will have the price after the bonus.

It appears the stock has not really moved. so those selling now are more like in loss position or at most a 10% gain.

It seems to be trading far below the listed price whch should be around N50 if converted but people are picking it at N40.5 now.
This is cheap now considering they are in profit
Exactly!
You got the drift.
The stock has not really moved.......but if it should start moving up from current 45, then people will start getting into profits.

If it didn't fall lower than 40.50 currently on market, then picking at 40.50 is somehow cheap.

I also noticed over the weeks that it is being mopped up silently. The previous result was too good and I foresee a rush once the company comes out with good news. The stock is like a gentle giant.

Dangrefinery is a necessity in Africa for atleast another 20 years.

It'll take almost 50% of the middle class Nigerians about 14 years of minimum wage savings to get the new Innoson EV. It'll take about 4 years to build and install 10,000MW of electricity. So Africa is very much dependent on fossil for atleast another 40 years. 20 years is not far. grin

Exactly my submission.
Na For countries wey get 24hrs/day, Average of 300/360 days of electricity per year. Not Africa yet. even at that, I think to power Manufacturing Equipments to meet their high capacity and efficiency, you just need fossil fuel--Coal, diesel, petrol, Gas, kero, etc.

Rnewables of Solar, Wind, biowaste are niche specific and tailored to particular equipments..not flexible for dynamic situations.

Africa and the rest of the developing world cannot achieve the level of industrial revolution the west experienced in the 19th & 20th century without fossil fuels. The power requirements of a large scale car plant can hardly be generated by today’s available renewable energy sources. Haven’t heard of one powered by windmills or sunlight.

It is almost inexplicable that the same west that used petroleum and coal to catalyze its industrial revolution are now preaching climate change and green energy to those on the cusp of industrial development.

How can Nigeria generate enough power to boost it’s abysmal wattage and overcome it’s crippling power challenges, if not by a source even more revolutionary than fossil, a source like nuclear?

Please house what is the implication of cost price being overstated in one portfolio.

My VFD cost price was overstated by meristem and I have been mailing them to that effect but they are yet to resolve it.

Thanks.

We should have understood these people by now na.
They only came to the market when they need funding that’s beyond their capacity.
And when they make enough money and the future looks much brighter, they have a rethink about their existence on the NGX and delist to go private and enjoy alone.
We too now have to be smarter and play the game with them accordingly.

I don't see any financial implication aside you seeing negative margin profit.

I don't think the brokers can do anything about it sad

Even if there are solar powered.. They are either few or just prototype makes for large scale industrial companies. They aren't so much commercially available and even affordable for the developed world not to mention being easily integrated by companies in Africa without Govt support.

Nuclear is a sure way to go..
Even France (70% total energy-deoendence on nuclear)
test-ran a new nuclear power plant just last month-August.

But our high temperate region,
Maintainance issue, and a bit of unavoidable carelessness makes it a no-no for me in Nigeria.

We will need to be colonized by expert foreign firms for like 20yrs or more grin before being left alone in generating and maintaining a nuclear power plant..

Hiroshima and Nagasaki no be joke.. I hear say na dessert those 2 cities be up till now.

In 1958, the population of Hiroshima reached 410,000, finally exceeding what it was before the war. It is currently a major urban center with a population of 1.12 million people. Major industries in Hiroshima today are machinery, automotive (Mazda) and food processing.

Well, I think they shld go in the same way as GSK..
Temporary boost in share price, I think.

But on the long-run after a sale of an entity, compensate shareholders handsomely in your next dividend after sale.
Or pay dividend twice.🤷
