Letsmeet:You are allowed pls. U can use your statements from the bank app and upload them. You do not need to go to the bank to queue for anything. www.gov.uk is the Bible for information and they have said you are allowed, ignore false info. 1 Like

Born2conquer:False. You need to be able to defend why you are going for another masters, that is the caveat and not that it is forbidden. Do a bit of research yourself |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 6:49pm On Sep 18 |
onile1975: It's okay. If you don't have enough money, you can reduce the money for shopping as that is not compulsory. Hotel cost should be for your wife. The assumption is that the children will stay with her in the same room. |

Born2conquer: That is not true. I know someone who had a B.Sc Accounting, M.Sc Accounting and then went back to school for a second masters in Data science or something along that line |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Cashmadam: 6:54pm On Sep 18 |
chloride6: The reasons are simple and glaring. Your wife's income is low. Her monthly expenses are high - compared to her income. Once the visa officer spotted those two things, he/she lost interest in your sponsorship. They can be very unpredictable. Ordinarily, your sponsorship should add value to her application but it appears it didn't in this case. 1 Like |

Gbola5: It shouldn't matter really if you have had similar large deposits several times. They don't bother about debits. If it bothers you, add a note to explain the deposit. 1 Like |

giselle237: Money market should not be an issue. I have used it for visa renewal, used it to sponsor my children for visit visas before they got student visas. I have also used it for Schengen visa. When the visa people want to refuse an applicant, they will look for silly excuses. In this case, the issue of money market is not tenable - especially as the sponsor provided evidence of his earnings. I would advise that the applicant reduces her monthly expenses as I believe that is the main reason. If her salary is static, then her expenses must be reduced. |

chloride6: Rwanda does not count as travel history as far as they are concerned. If you get your visa, I suggest you use it. Then reapply for your wife after about 6 months. |

Cashmadam:I have seen 3 refusals like this that’s why I mentioned it. Investment funds that is.. If they see it as your ties better for you. In one the eco expressly said they are unable to establish the applicant’s funding for the trip. |

Hi all, please if you experienced any problem with payment on Worldpay for a UK visit visa, please how did you fix it. I have changed cards, changed laptop, changed VPN, called UKVI, called Worldpay and everyone says everything is good on their end. If you payment is getting refused, what do you do? |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by bharkarh(m): 7:28am On Sep 19 |
Hi everyone, Home Office contacted me via email that I needed to pay more for my visa application by providing my card details to a payment slip and send to worksponsoreddocumentrequests@homeoffice.gov.uk which I have done. My worry now is they are yet to deduct this sum from my account and I was given 10 days to do this else my visa application becomes invalid. Has anybody experienced this and how long did it take them (HO) to deduct the money from his/her account? |

Goodkindbro: Go get a dollar bank card because I don’t think you can use a bank card that is denominated in Naira to make the payment. 1 Like |

BarcaBlood:
No I am using dollar cards as I am in Canada. I have tried all my siblings dollar cards, all refused, and have cleared cookies and cache. I started application 11th September and wanted to checkout same day. I checked out two applications successfully and then the remaining refused to be checked out. I have been trying since 11th and today is 19th, without any success |

There's a 7 days rule to make payments for UK visa applications once you've been given the link to pay. That's why I asked the exact date you started the application. I'm not sure if it's what affecting your payment. The other applications you've done, did you also start them on the 11th and paid today (19th)? |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by maestro03: 1:49pm On Sep 19 |
Cashmadam: Funny enuff, even I would not accept it as a source of funds for a trip. It's an investment vehicle and liquidating an asset to fund a holiday seems ludicrous (but that can be argued though). There may have been other factors that would have led to the refusal. |

Good day all. Pla I need advise on what I can do. I'm in the UK with my partner and our little baby. I'm on skilled worker visa with NHS which I'm allowed to bringing in Dependant. Unfortunately I lost my mother in law in January this year and my wife had 3 siblings back home, I'm want to know if there is way to bring one of the siblings age 11year old as my Dependant. I don't mind of adopting or any other way I can bring her in. I spoke with their father and he has alreay give his consent. How do you think I can bring her to 🇬🇧 next year. Thank you. |
