No one rigged any election in my area with thugs and machetes. Some tried, but we elected a PDP governor because we had educated ourselves on what might be better for us, though it could be argued it isn't.

One day, 10 years after the first of 3 of my donations of books to my local government library, a one year old child who could barely speak was humming "abcd, efg. hijk, lmnopq", and that was the first result I had seen from my efforts.

I expect all my efforts to produce results long after I am dead since Nigerians are stubborn and would rather claim the elections were rigged when the truth is they never bothered to vote.

Suffering will teach people to become responsible, or their suffering will increase until we learn, or die.

Now that's a funny question indeed. I'm telling people to be responsible for curing their own ignorance, and your question is, how do I do this, lol. But I'll answer you all the same.

By talking to people like you until you learn or until I decide you are a lost cause and move on to people who are willing to be responsible instead of irresponsibly blaming others.

Good thing is, my effort is not in vain. For while some might not see sense in my effort, you aren't the only one reading my effort.

Education has an effect on political leadership.

Educated leaders lead better. And an educated electorate choose better leaders.

And no, i don't mean educated like you'd think, knowing you'd likely point out our leaders are educated with degrees. I mean the education that gives proper understanding and teaches people to use their own senses to reason and solve problems.

If the voting people have proper understanding and can solve problems, they'd elect the right people and no one would steal their votes.

I am not responsible for 10 million Almajiris or 220 million Nigerians, Brendaniel. I'm not even responsible for the about 100k people in my own local community. Some of them cursed me for bringing books and asked me to just give them the money, as if na me born them!

Every Nigerian is responsible for educating themselves to choose the right leaders just as every Nigerian bears their own suffer for us all choosing the wrong leaders.
