AJ,Fury,Wilder and Duboius were all overhyped boxers and it’s a shame heavyweight category has lost it
There was a time I binge watched clips of Tyson and then that of Sugar Ray Robinson, Thomas Hearns, Roberto Durán, and Marvin Hagler (these four are called the Four Kings). Even Prince Naseem.

After watching these guys, I lost appetite for modern boxing. God! Those guys were electric, violent and brutal in the most mesmerizing way.

Today's boxers are pap. Watch this clip of Thomas Hearns and Marvin Hagler. It is dubbed the best first round in the world of boxing.

Abeg no vex, when did Boniface score any goal for Nigeria?
it's still debatable Sha. On sofascore his record for us is 7 matches 1 goal but then the only time he seemed to have scored a goal for us was during the Saudi friendly and they recorded his goal as own goal on their own site. on Transfermarket, he is recorded to be the goal scorer but anywhere else it was recorded as an own goal. Even if you look at the highlight of that Saudi match you can't really decide if it was an own goal or scored by Boniface cause the angle was somehow.

This is probably one of the greatest fights you will EVER see and NEVER see again, in these overproduced times.

These guys were part of an era of fantastic boxing, that had everything— skill, determination, speed, toughness, guile, fitness at the highest level, joy to watch. Honestly, AJ has to be the most overrated heavy weight of his generation..

Boniface has zero goal for Nigeria but his form in Leverkusen always gives him the rating ahead of others except Osimhen

He had better recover fast and get back to form cause Nottingham are looking for a new striker next transfer window who is younger to replace him according to reports on their subreddit...he might end up in Turkey at this point cause no top club will risk spending big money on a striker with his injury records.
When times comes Awo will cross the bridge like other players.

I think you are over stressing this Awo talks….pls is the injury self made?and funny you labeled him WASHED as if you did not watched him in EPL…..if you don’t rate him just say it,nothing new.

We all agreed with you he doesn’t deserved last call up.I said it pages back that him and Iheanacho needed to be dropped

Hope you remember Ricky Owubokiri stats in Europe and go by your stats on Dessers,Victor Agali would have been all time best eagles striker

You're missing the point. My statement has nothing to do with the people you mentioned and the point you're trying to make.

Someone mentioned me and said that Dessers is not as good as the players who get called up. I replied by highlighting the Goal per Game records of those players, with regards to the Super Eagles, and compared them to Dessers' Goal per Game records in the Super Eagles.

If you had gone through everything I wrote, you'd have clearly seen that Dessers outperforms most, if not all of the players I listed. So how are they better than him in the National Team, if he has a better Goal per Game record than they do, despite the fact that he's played just 322 minutes for us?

That's the head and tail of the discussion. smiley

If I remember correctly, I think he scored against Saudi Arabia. 🤔

All the people you mentioned in this write up apart from Boniface should be given phased out especially Onuachu, Sadiq, Moffi, Dessers,

Awoniyi and Iheanacho on probation for now. But those four I mentioned should be completely let go of.

Lol, that'll be a very huge risk to take, especially when you consider the fact that Boniface and Awoniyi haven't lived up to expectations in the National Team. I don't think any coach would be willing to take that kind of risk right now.

Trust me I have no agenda against Awoniyi, he's a top lad who has stayed classy through his career and I'll never denigrate him about his injuries (I went too far with calling him washed).

I'm just a pragmatic football fan who puts Nigerian football first before any player...I just want a Super Eagles team where all the best players are called up on MERIT which is on the basis of form and consistency. Right now the likes of Dessers, Arokodare etc are ahead of Awoniyi and Iheanacho.

You see that Dessers, forget him. He's not an Eagle. No matter how many goals he scores, he doesn't have SE DNA (yes, there's a SE DNA which if you have watched SE for long, you will recognize it when you see it in a player). I can't tell you what it is but when I see it, I recognize it. It has to do with a certain in-ness, a certain connection with the team that gives the player determination, flow and desire.

Same thing Onuachu, Sadiq. Even if they score one million goals, forget them. They don't click. They have forever remained outsiders.

In spite of the fact that you are not into boxing you have come up with the best tactical plan which many people online have mentioned. Retirement is best for him. He don try.

Solanke is one player I want to target immediately once I get the job to fight the number 9 position with osimhen ,we av so many ineffective/squad players in dt position .the Benin 🇧🇯 and South Africa 🇿🇦 games made me realise dt ..Super eagles need solanke even more Dan Tosin adarabioyo

coachy I disagree with you

We need Tosin more because in Ekong’s absence we don’t hv that organizer in the heart of our defense

Osimhen,Boniface and others can easily offer even more than whatever Solanke will bring to the team. I’m not saying he won’t be a good addition to the team but in his position we have talents in abundance to an extend that few are yet to be capped
